oh also with the human ships vs Covies, remember that those were 4 medium tonnage covenant ships, vs 2 heavy tonnage human ships and 5 medium tonnage ships, and with shields, the humans would be able to take the hits from the 1st salvo, and possibly a 2nd and 3rd, while the covenant ships could be targeted 2 at a time and obliterated. if 3 destroyers and a cruiser, even with the kind of ships they had at reach, all fired at once, they would easily destroy the covenant destroyer. These new human ships also have new reactors, that will be brought into chapter 3, they allow for more powerful MAC salvos, faster engines, and stronger shields, and allow for the ship to have enough power left over for artificial gravity. Its all in the power

Hopefully you will elaborate a bit on the human ships wit shields...Im amusing this is after Halo 1 takes place after all.

And, since these ships now have shields, even if the weaponry was upgraded a great deal, I think the battle was a little one-sided. In fact, from what I understand from TFoR, and TF, the results SHOULDVE been the exact opposite.

Just my 2 cents.

forgot to add Italics or something to the ship names, the Aolaus, Reshiya, Sovia, and Sashok Nayosha are all names of warships in the group.

First to post. Nice story really. 9.5/10.

And I like ship battles.
