In Halo 2 there are white Covenant. Wonder what rank they are.

They have pale-blue Elites... which are just the Camo ones. White Covenant armor isn't in the game, unless you're talking about the shaders for the models.

White-Never saw one.
I've read all three books, and I know Sergeant Johnson lives, but how could that be if we saw him on Halo, fighting with that elite, when it blew up at the end.

Squads are parts of platoons so they are titled 1st squad or second squad, not Alpha or Omega. Those are used for companies and Fire Team 4-6 Marines. 2 Fire Teams make up a squad. So try saying the Marines are from Delta Company, 3rd platoon, 2nd squad, Fire Team Romeo or something like that.
