It's the same class as the PoA, Hawk. In Part One, it mentions that the AI is left on Reach when the Dimensional departs. And since the AI wasn't present, there were manual controls from which the crew can use to fire.

Very cool, the "chapters" were a bit short, and something caught my eye:
Was the ship larger than a Longsword Intercepter? It seemed so, since it had lifeboats. A ship that large, (like the POA, which is small in comparision to other craft in The Fleet), has an AI to control the weapons, etc. So the Main Cannon doesn't use a crosshair or triggers, you plug in coordinates and hit pound on the keyboard.
Nice story, really enjoyed it :D

I like the story, but unforetunately I havent read the first yet, i'll get there though. Keep dishin' out the goodness.
