Thanks Hawk7886, the second part may not be as good, but the third part will be a lot better.

You have set up a very nice story, I can't wait to see where you take this :)
Even though it wasn't spaced out, the rhythm of the story kept it from being a problem.

I apologize, i know i need more indents and returns, but i write them in word, so when I copy and paste it over it just comes out like that. I'll watch out for that in future.
Thanx FORErunnER I see what you mean. It only clicked when I reread it. Soz, I'll try to avoid that in other fanfics I write.

yeah, but there not stupid. They probably would use Grunts if it was a suicide rush.

Anyway, a pretty nice story. However the grunt, Kakap, seems a little to defiant. If he got angry at his leader he would most likely have been executed by now. And there motives seem contradictory to there actions. They made a suicide charge at a human base, when there orders were to capture them. Wouldn't they use an ambush if they wanted to capture them?

Actually, in Halo: First Strike, elites will charge in by the hundreds even if it means they'll get cut down. They are highly proud and ferocious warriors.

Okay. Indents and more RETURNS would help the presentation. I don't think Elites would charge a human position just to be cut down, the novels make it clear that they'd use Grunts as canon fodder for such an attack.
