Nice story except for those new weapons and aliens. I know I know, I'm a republican and I like to keep things the same. 9.3/10

The speed while falling through the air.
But you never know, those newfangled other planets....
We'll blame it on the gravity......
Althought it would have to be VERY high...nevermind

Kewl. More like a novel than a short story, though.
Also, "five foot tall balding Asian man with large black frame glasses in a business suit."
He heh, Louis Wu. Don't tell Claude I said that.
I liked the drop scene, though I agree with Dudeman on the 'create your own storyline' thing. You obviously have the talent to keep a story moving smoothly, and I didn't see many mistakes. You could make an excellent addition to the gifted authors we have here.
There have been some stories which were, umm, 'dissappointing', but I'm glad one story is well above par.
I hope you continue writing at this excellent level, you can entertain anyone who loves a good Halo fan-fic and has the time to read it.
343/10

Not bad, not bad at all. Just if you do start a new series, i think i speak for everyone when i say don't use the existing storyline to Halo. Put your own spin on things. The thing is, everybody already knows the story and tend not to pay attention to the actual writing. But good job. Good technique and story.
