Comments for 'Harvest Campaign Chapter 6' |
Fleet Admiral

Maybe others put a lot of MAC guns in their stories, but I research everything I write about. The Marathon- class cruiser has only 5 MAC rounds, and that is the heaviest cruiser in the human fleet. Battle cruisers, which come later, have 6. Plus, my story is set in Harvest, the first major battle with the Covenant. At that time the heavist cruiser only had 4 MAC guns.

I forgot to add something to my last post.
I didn't like the part where the human cruiser has 4 MACs. I dunno, it just seems like too much of a superdestroyer, something that the humans never had in the Halo novels (i think). Just a personal pref, though, and I like bitching about small things.
Yours didn't really bug me. A while back, some guy had a story about some carrier or cruiser that had 8 MACs.

Lmao...But really, its very important that you use the code to make it easier for your readers to read and it makes it look better.

I don't care how regular he is, he still needs to use the code.
But at least this one was comprehensible, unlike some of them out there.

In the beginning of the story, you made some minor grammatical mistakes, such as jumping tenses in the middle of one sentence. In the end, however, you tightened up a bit.
Also, I noticed you didn't use the code. For some reason, people just don't get this. So for your benefit, I am going to post it here. I'd like to believe I'm doing it because I'm a nice guy, but I'm not gonna fool myself. YOU BETTER USE THIS AFTER U READ IT, DAMMIT!
To make a block of text in italics (slanty letters), insert before the block, and after it. For bold, use and , and for underlining, use and .
To insert an indent, put
. Make sure you don't do this on the line above the beginning of your paragraph, or it won't show up!
To put a half-rule, or a line break across the page, insert
where you want it to be. I like to put it on a line of it's own for organization's sake, but I'm not sure if this is necessary.
USE IT!

PS: trust me, if you don't use it, a lot of the regulars will get on your case. Big time.
