Dubbo is naturally my fav character too cos he's australian, i mean there's like shit-all games that have any aussies in em, so when i played the PoA for the first time, and i heard Chip's voice, it made me love halo that much more. Also i like how Chip is almost always aggressive and will more often than not be the last man to fall back in a retreat, if he even falls back. I remember playing the PoA and i made myself go 'rampant'. the security came, and i shot all the other guys as well as chip, and as the other guys retreated, chip yelled at em, "come back here ya cowards!" while still firing at me.
Now to me, that shows the true aussie pride that has been long extinct since Gallipoli WW1.
Anyways i've been rambling too long, i still think this is a fantastic story:D

I think you should write about what that hot chick who pilots the PoA escape pod that briings MC down to Halo.
You know what she's thinkin when MC says, "Punch it."
"Damn! Air brake failure....Oh MC...save me..."

Write about what Johnson did before Halo, or what he was doing during Halo. If you do, then you could also talk about how he escaped the Flood. That would be cool.

There is no 'editor' for HBO fan fiction. This way I understood it:
Louis checks the story for length, if it's too short, it's rejected; unless it's a poem.
If it isn't about Halo, it's rejected.
If it contains anything sexual that the story doesn't need, it's rejected.

If you want somebody to just glance over your story and proofread for context and grammar/spelling like I do for CoLd (:P) you should ask around here. I'm sure there are people who would do that for you if you asked.
If you did mess up and it doesn't link to your old story, there isn't much you can do about it aside from asking Louis to help you. I wouldn't suggest this - Louis is very, very busy. Not just with his beautiful site, but with things outside the site as well. If it's something simple, I don't think he would appreciate it, seeing as how he gets hundreds of e-mails a day. If you think it's something mission-critical that would piss off people, you might want to e-mail him.

Hey Cold, here's a question for you, sorry it ain't about your "good fiction"..
Does you know how to check if your file is too big to submit? I wrote chapter two last night (actually part II of chapter One) and as a word file, it's 37k, but as a text file it's only 19k...which does this editor use? I submitted it and it went through (after about 10 attempts), and I think I also goofed and didn't link it to my series...should I repost it? Any ideas...Thanks.

The Flood, I just have to read stuff that has the Flood in it. It was good. The Flood sound a little different then the way I remember them, but who really knows? Lol, I don't have to go to school today. I have SNOW. Wait! This gets me into the mood the play AotCR and maybe even TB. Better get to it.

lol, but I'm serious, I wake up this morning and I go to check HBO, and look at that, 4 more comments! And crashed, Dubbo was another of my favorite characters, and I just tried to write a story about him when you encounter him on 343 Guilty Spark.
MC, I haven't thrown a grenade (but I want to lol) so I'll remember that next time. And to IAmDelta, thank you, and I'll read your story once I get back from school. lol also thanks for the comment, GLAD.

Helljumper, ya, I do love the Flood, they are pretty damn cool and fun to write about.
To teemus, I've been really busy and when I was editing your story I got kicked off the computer, so I'm doing it now.
To Nick, thanks for the suggestion, but most of the Marines of First Squad were pretty tight. It was only Dubbo and Howard that had a conflict.

Another one without complaints, when will my job end. lol. Well, I think you need to work just a bit on flow. And shrapnel just doesn't pelt you in the face, it goes into your head. Haven't you ever thrown and experieced a grenade going off? I suppose not. But, it was excellently written. I'm beginning to think that that "M" rating on the front of Halo means that it makes serious players more mature. Hmmm...

Very nice. Its nice to see one author on the list and know that at least that story will be good.
