The Date is 2560, many years have gone by since we attacked that cold and descelant waste land what is now Earth. I feel that what we did was a for good cause, that it was for the good of the gods. We were supposed to get rid of the Humans by the time the gods got here. Dually noted that they will arrive in a few weeks. Still the Humans rain the galaxy, we took their planet, we took their leaders and still they believe they have a chance. In the last meeting of the Prophets I told them we should not have procrastinated before, we should have taken out their ships before they fled the galaxy. Instead we sat back and watched as they ran for their lives, thinking that they would have died off as they drifted in space... no where to go.
They are here; they sit above our home waiting till we think of a smart course of action. If we attack I would be put with my own squad of grunts, and jackals, and a few of my own kind. I HATE THE PROPHETS AS MUCH AS I HATE THE BRUTES AND THE HUMANS, THEY GIVE ME NO CREDIT FOR MY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THERE LOYAL STANDS, to their every need! Instead they put me with a squad when I should be put with a fleet of our cruisers sent to go destroy the Humans Orbital ships. Even if I could just be sent on a lone mission to destroy that retched Human known as Master Chief.
The word is in we will be attacking the Humans. We will Jump across slip space across our planet, materialize behind, flaking them. While our orbital defense systems draw them off. Even then they will not be entirely vanquished. They have ships waiting at every corner of the galaxy incase of lose. Those Prophets sit there knowing that they could attack at any moment.

I sit still in my chamber waiting to be called upon. I will be launched from our cruiser towards the Human Vessel known as "The Crow", and infiltrating it. Stupid name, these Vessels are not as much as an importance to them as they are to us. It seems that they give these names to their vessels by its creator's names. We give the names as an importance, its main focus... its purpose. Talking about the Humans ways makes me sick.
My thought was interrupted by a greet at my door. I could tell it was a grunt by it's high, and yet meaningful voice. "You are called upon by Cultis" the grunt said. Cultis was a Brute who always found something for me to do, since I was of lower rank, the Brutes were always higher ranks since they're main purpose was to protect the Prophets. "Yes" I said, "I'll be right there".

I arrived at Cultis's chamber. "I am here as you requested"
The Brute looked up from his panel, "I knew I could count on you to do such a hard job as to walk over here and stand before me".
"Yes", I said, ignored already at his presence.
"I called you here because, In about 2 min you will be launched from this ship and onto the Human ship, engaging them on their own territory" The Brute walked over to me and stood eye to eye, "I will be leader of your squad which means I will be leader to you, I will be with you the whole time so if you feel the need to retreat I will be there to stand in your way, from being a fool"
"Yes sir" I said with rage, I felt as though I should break his neck, for talking to me in such manner.
"Leave me" he said, "wait for me by the drop ships".
I left his chamber, he bring me there for that I thought... What a waste of time.

I stood by the drop ship awaiting Cultis's appearance. While Grunts and other Elites ran back and fourth going about their business. By that time I had already appointed my squad.
"Supromee" the Brute yelled to me, "get the squad on that drop ship and hurry, The Seraphs will be arriving soon and we won't want to get caught in between them and the Human aircrafts".
I called upon my squad to get into the Drop ship, 6 Elites in one side and 6 Jackals in the other. I and Cultis will be in the cockpit handling the vessel.
"Good" the Brute yelled, "OK staffs, we will be engaging the Humans on their own ship, so be prepared for a hard fight, we will be launched directly into there docking bay for immediate entry to their engine room. Once arrival at the engine room we will be planting Plasmatic dispersion explosives on the reactors, causing a melt down of the core. When they explode they will create an explosion big enough to take out the surviving vessels around it. By the
Time they do we will hopefully be out of there in time".
The Elites and Jackals saluted him and closed the hatch to the drop ship. Me and Cultis jumped up into the cockpit and switched the anti-grav on. Cultis hit the generator switch, and the drop ship hovered off the ground. I turned on the electro magnetic reactors, which then gave full power to the stability when we landed. I pushed the throttle up and the Drop ship gave way into the Blackness of space.

Place: Covenant Drop ship in slip space toward Human Vessel

I could see the Human Vessel getting closer. I taped a combination of commands, for the drop ship to take once arrival at the docking bay. I told it to lock onto any potential threat, unless Cultis was willing to take control which I highly doubted. It became clear that it wasn't only us that was heading for the vessel, there were at least 20 other drop ships going for the same objective. Of course it was obvious that we needed more than 20 troops for an incursion of the Human bay.
As we drew closer we could see that the Humans have bin doing some recruiting as well. All the sudden we heard a bang rumble through the drop ship, I read 30% damage to the shields we were hit by one of their ASGM-10 Missiles (One of the only Human missiles able to navigate correctly through slip space). The Long sword fighters had been released; it wasn't long before our Seraph fighters arrived to cover for us. If it weren't for them our shields would drop so fast we wouldn't have time to drop from slip space.
We got close enough to dropped from slip space and accelerate towards the Human bay. I could see the Humans scurry about holding their primitive rifles in the air. The other drop ships maneuvered in firing on the Human Infantry, slaughtering the them.
We dropped into the Bay with our shields dropping rapidly, The Chain guns below were eating away at their shields, I yelled at Cultis to fire the plasma turret at them, but he sat there and watched as the Covenant moved out onto the deck and started down the bay towards the exit way, guns a blazing. I pushed him aside and took control of the turret, and set the drop ship on auto de-accelerization drop. I fired upon the chain guns, melting the barrels and soon after exploding into an assortment of scrap metal.
I then switched back to manual override, and eased the ship down, unleashing the hatch. Our troops moved in and joined in with their fellow brethren.
Cultis and I got out and started firing across the deck.
"Supromee, get the squad together and meet me at the engine room stat" Cultis yelled over the channel. I acknowledged by hand signal, as I called for rs squad across the channel. They formed together in front of me and I motioned to move through the corridor deeper into the Human Ship. We entered the corridor, locked it behind us, took off our breathing masks, and started down the hallway.
As we moved we entered a large dark room full of dead bodies and busted up pillars. There were many doors leading into the room, I motioned for the squad to break up into groups and cover each corridor. I watched each squad move into through them, they disappeared, and heard nothing. Walking towards a panel that was stationed on a wall, I pressed a command that would hopefully bring some light into the room; it beeped twice and lit up the room, to my surprise 10 marines appeared out of the darkness and started firing at me, I dived across the room and behind a pillar that happened to be still in good condition. My squad rushed into the room and started firing on the enemy. The marines started to fall quickly, but never gave up. "Frag out!" one marine yelled and threw a grenade into the midst of my troops. One Elite made an attempt to kick it back at them, but as his foot reaches it, it exploded into a spray of shrapnel. The Elite flew head long across the room into a pillar breaking its neck, along with many other Jackals. 2 Elites remained and joined me behind the pillar. One marine that worked up the guts to follow them, only to be sircum by death. I signaled for the 2 Elites to run out on the count of 3, they nodded, and stood at the ready. 1...2...3...GO we ran out and started firing at the marines. I saw one a few plasma fires come across the room hitting a marine in his unprotected face slowly eating it away. The 2 Elites ran ducked behind a pillar of they're own.
I stayed dodging the bullets while firing, dived across and tossed a plasma grenade in mid air. The grenade landed on a marine's leg and flared, the helpless marine attempted to tare it off and ran for the other Elites. He exploded just in time to take them out. I rolled across and ducked for cover, while the marines were distracted. The marines thinking they could overrun me, rushed in and fired. My Shields flared, I ran for one marine while firing at his legs. The marine dropped to the floor, I raised my foot and side step kicked the marine in the face; he flew helplessly into the marine that stood behind him. They fell hit the ground and the one marine became stunned.
The 2 other remaining Marines continued to fire, as my shields dropped to zero. I side stepped then ran towards the marines running back and fourth hoping that it would throw off their aim. Once I got close enough, one marine hit with the butt end of his battle rifle, followed by a grin. I grabbed his weapon and shoved it in his mouth and fired the back of the marines head exploded and dropped to the floor.
The last marine attempted to call for back up, but I got his attention by firing the rifle into the ceiling. The marine looked up from his com unit and backed off. He attempted to make run for it, but I threw the weapon at the back of his knees breaking them. He fell and layed on the ground hopelessly. He raised his weapon at me and pulled the trigger, where as nothing came out. He let out a sigh of hope and dropped the gun. I raised my foot, as he pleased me not to kill him. I shook my head and brong my foot down on his face, followed by satisfying crack.
"Supromee" I could here Cultis over the squad channel, "I'm at the engine room where are you, we can't handle things alone down here".
I replied "I'll be right there, just ran into a little bit of resistance".
"Well hurry, I don't want to be here all day, because you got the detonators, if you don't get here soon there won't be enough time".
I looked at my arm panel and watched the mission clock. I acknowledged, and walked out of the room. I thought to my self, I yet wait the day where I could run the entire Covenant Armada myself, the day where I could show the gods that I am worthy. I sighed, and put aside the thought of ruling, and continued to the engine room.
