Ravaging Titan

12th age of Ascension, Prophet Chamber, 2524
As The Super-cruiser Zealous Glory approached the Dyselchlar moon, high brethren stood in the center of the ships hierarchy chamber, anxiously waiting the appearance of the Prophet of Time. The Veteran Elite, Sena Prismas was getting irritated with the anxious wait. Moments later the ceiling panels started to glow a dark light with a lavender tinge. The main entrance door thundered open as the Prophet was escorted with a legion of guardian brutes. The Prophet then switched on its hover-belt and gently came to a height of 2 meters off its holy alter. Its spoke " The heavens demand that we find these newly arisen gifts." Its voice was amplified by the structure. "We are commanded to cleanse the universe of all unholy beings." Sena knew that if they succeeded, the high prophets would lead the covenant to infinite glory. She was ready to fight in honor, kill in honor, and die in honor.

Prismas was fitted with her new battle armor and was astoundingly magnificent. It shone of a deep jade color, with golden trimmings on the ridges. After the grunts fitted her final attachment, she was handed a powerful weapon, which she had never seen. It was a Plasma Rife, with its deep purple-metallic plates, and glowed with energy. She was also given an honorary dual bladed Plasma sword. These were very rare, and an invaluable weapon during close counter battles. The High Prophet had ordered over ¾ of the whole fleet to search, find, and collect these new gifts. The other ¼ were to stay and protect the central empire from an unknown threat. The journey would take years, but like all of the other chosen, they are totally loyal to the high gods.

She was posted command on the flagship Ravaging Titan. It was a beautiful vessel, capable of smiting any foe that dare come against it. They're fist quadrants were along the far edge of the Galaxy, over 120 light years away, yet their technology of slip-space was almost perfected. The speed of their speed was almost a hundredfold times faster than light. There were 1200 grunts and jackals, 2000 engineers, and a legion of 200 elites. Just enough to sustain a balanced crew, after all they were going to gone from the Home empire for however long it took to find all of these Gifts. They also had to be ready for the unholy ones. When Sena was in her fifth stage of life, she was only a squad commander; during the age of betrayal, she had fought against other Unholy creatures. The blood of the enemy splattered across her graceful armor was like the tears of an unheard cry. The Covenant had slayed many past enemies. But there were failures, losses, and dishonors that took place eons ago. Over time, they accepted new worthy world to join them in cause. The most recent addition to the Empire was the "Jackal" creatures. They had many technologies that the Grunts and elites could not master. One of which was the energy shield. The shields are now on every ship, and infused with every elite's armor.
The Ravaging Titan was now due out of the empire, into the vast unknown.

Uncharted Sol System, 2525

The Ravaging Titan was just exiting the slip-space vortex when there was a warning on their nose-end radar. 700,000 kilometers ahead of them lay a planet with activity around it, enemy activity. Small iron hull ships swarmed around a central station of 3 larger rectangular ships. Prismas laughed at their primitive ships, for they didn't even appear to have any weapons; or at least any that could penetrate their super dense neutron shield. They were spotted. Suddenly all of the smaller ships were what seems to be an attack coarse towards their Titan. Sena motioned to ready all 12 plasma turrets. The miniature ships still neared towards them. She wanted to get them when they had no chance to run back. One of the grunts named Jub-Jub whined that they were being pinged with radio transmissions. It seemed that they wanted to communicate, and rather badly. The transmissions continued. Yet they made no sense to Sena Prismas and her colleagues. The radio blared their coarse vocal tones. "This is Captain Veredi of the UNSC Destroyer, Hercules. Respond Please. We mean no harm. Please respond."
Sena grumbled the words, "Send them this message: your destruction is the will of the gods, and we are their instrument... then fire four turrets at each of the larger ships. Finish the others with our remaining cannons." She sat hovering on her large, blood red chair, her jade armor glistening within the dark light. The 12 Turrets momentarily let out a surge of red light, and then unleashed a hell on the unholy ships. Two of the three were burned into two parts from the bow port to the head of it. The dark brown metal was instantly lit up to a fiery white. The atmosphere vented, and then the two ships imploded. The third and largest ship was hit by only one of the lances. It struck them on the lower middle half, pushing them out of their orbit. It quickly recovered and took evasive maneuvers around the planet. Meanwhile, the smaller ships were slowly being obliterated. What these ships lacked in armor, they had in speed and maneuverability. They launched what seemed to be rails of metal. They left ghostly streams of chemical vapor. These rails hit their shields and exploded with tremendous force. The Ravaging Titans shield held, barely. Maybe these foes were not so unworthy after all. The covenant cruiser sped to the southern space, below the water covered body. They were going to find this renegade ship, and make them pay for their defiance. As Sena cruised the ship around the planet, they remaining small ships were destroyed. Upon the vertical horizon was the final enemy. Prismas once again readied the turrets. As she was just sputtering the words "Crush them..." she was interrupted with a rocking force that knocked her off her seat, and flung her head first into the communications panel. One of the other elites on deck fell of the communications floor and was knocked unconscious. Those damned beings must have shot them with another one of their crude projectiles. There had been so much force that it broke through their shields, and penetrated through their hull, damaging only two decks. One of the other head elites hated curse at the unholy ones. It was a heavy blow, but not one that knocked them off their feet. The enemy ship had jumped to slip-space while they were shaken. Sena wiped the cold, purple blood that dripped from her cracked head plate. She was not going to tolerate evacuating foe. A defeated foe would prove only worthy. The day would come when she would find her glory.
