Hansley was rushed into the hospital, and hooked up to a different heart moniter. He was transferred to a different doctor. " We almost lost him on the way, doc. He won't last long, so you better hurry." The doctor rushed to the sink, and lathered his hands and arms in soap. He quickly rinsed them, and put on his suit, and gloves. " Hmm..., do you have his arm or foot?" The other doctor shook his head, "No." The doctor thought of what he should do. "Well, I'll have to give him prosthetics. He won't be able to join battle or combat for awhile. But in a week or so, he should be just fine." The doctor worked on Hansley for hours, trying many different kinds of prosthetics. He came out into the lobby/waiting room. " The kid's going to be fine, the operation was a great success. He will be back on his feet in no time." Everyone just nodded, like they knew it was going to be fine. The doctor walked out, and everyone smiled. Hanlsey was alive, the lone survivor of battle was still alive, and fighting.
Hansley awoke in the night, lights flickering, and the smell of death in the air. he got out of his bed, but couldn't feel his foot or arm. He fell to the floor, because he wasn't used to the fake foot. He pulled himself up using the side of the hospital bed. It was very dark, and when he finally got back up into his bed, he thought he might have seen Covenant Elites walk right by his room. He tried to walk again, and started to creep. He peeked his head out of his door, and knew he saw a Grunt running away. He walked out more, and heard a scream. He quiclky walked out of the room, to go get some help, praying there was some still alive. He was unarmed, undressed, and probably the only living human in the Hospital. He stepped over a dead marine, picking up his AR, and putting on his armor. Hansley checked the ammo, which there was hardly any. He reloaded it, so it lowered the risk of him having to do that in combat. He started to creep again, and saw a grunt run straight at him. He then felt something hit his back. He fell to the floor, and his head was stomped on by an Elite. He screamed, and woke up. It was just a dream, all just a dream. He prayed, and fell back asleep.
2 weeks later, he was back at the base, ready for combat. He was promoted again to Captain, for bravery and courage. He was now known around the base, and was very decorated. The thing Hansley didn't get though, was that he was always the lone survivor. The next mission, or battle he enters, he was going to make sure that he wasn't the only one coming home. His armor did him good, except for the arm. He now spent atleast 3 hours a day in the training room. He was really buff, now. His life was great. " hansley, Hansley in my office." Hansley walked to the Sergeant's office. He told the guards his business, and was ushered in, yet again. Hansley saluted, " At ease, soldier. Now, sit down. ou just keep moving up the ranks, don't you. Now, i have some bad news, your brother Richard Hansley has been killed, Nicholas. I'm terribly sorry." Hansley was puzzled, his eyes started to well up, and he cried. " Okay, thanks you, sir. I, i have to go now." hansley walked out of the sergeant's office, and back to the training room. He was ready to go into combat, and marched back towards the Sarge's office. " What's your business?" The guards were pests. he lied, and was ushered in. " Sarge, let me go into battle. I'm great on my foot now. Please, i must avenge my brother." The sarge was quiet for a moment, and then said, " Okay Hansley, but if you get into any trouble, I'm not helping you. And, I don't appreciate you calling me Sarge, don't do it again." Hansley walked out, got ready, gathered some marines, and found a place were tons of Cov. were hanging out. he jumped into the Pelican, and was whisped into battle.

" Well, now that we have tracked the Human ship, we must prepare for battle. Get me hundreds of Banshees, and thousands of Ghosts. I need an army of everything we've got. This could be where we finally kill the Humans. Go do it... NOW!" The Prophet hovered out of the room, angry. The Covenant were ready, the Humans were coming, and they were both hoping to spill each others blood on the ground!
