"We'll be hitting the area shortly." Said the infantry master as their stolen phantom screamed across the sky. The elites were still against the covenant, and they were going to surprise attack the prophets. "This island is the prophets' vacation island. You need to sneak up on them and destroy them! No POW's."
Yelled the captain of the phantom. "I understand." Said an Elite named Kite. He wore green and red armor that symbolized he was accepted in humanity. He watched as pics of the island scrolled across the holo-panel in the middle of the infantry hold. "Were nearing the island! Get ready to jump. We'll be holding position by that wall." The infantry master pointed out where he was being dropped off, and where they would hold position. "Jump on my mark." The captain yelled. Kite gripped his plasma rifle tighter. He had been equipped with a plasma rifle, and a special plasma pistol. He hated his weapons, but it's all that he could use. He would always dispose the plasma's and get human things like magnums or battle rifle's. He was so in trance of thinking, he almost missed the pilot's call. "MARK!" Kite jumped out and plunged deep into the water below...

He was awakening... it was his turn to kill... the cryotube door rose open and he woke. He had been frozen for 15 years... dubbed too powerful to fight without killing teammates... and he was going on a mission... the first in 15 years.

"CLOUD GET THE **** UP!!!" yelled the ship's staff member. "Mommygimmefivemoreminutes..." Cloud mumbled. The ship's staff member pushed a button and an electrical current surged through the cryotube. "AAAAHHHHH!" Yelled Cloud. "Follow me through the procedures to get you ready." The crewman said. As they walked through the area's of optical sighting to charging energy shields. "Bridge to cryo-send Spartan 777 to the bridge immediately." A voice over the intercom said. "Captain, we'll have to skip the weapons diagnostics-" "ON THE DOUBLE CREWMAN!" yelled the captain interrupting the crewman. "Aye aye sir. The skipper seems jumpy. We'll find you weapons later." The crewman said. So, Cloud followed him up to the bridge, no covenant interruptions, no fire, and no explosions. Just a boring walk to the bridge.

Later...

"Good to see you cloud, things seem to be messing up. We need you to get down to that beach on our island on earth called "Zanzibar", and we need you to fight any elite scum there is." The captain said. A crewman was saying "But sir, the elites are-" but was cut off when the captain slammed his elbow into the crewman's gut. "...An...evil part...of the covenant..." The crewman managed to get out before he fell to the ground in pain. Cloud looked at both of them in utter confusion. "Well, we need you to-" an AI, Samwise Gamgee, cut off the captain mid sentence. "Captain! Incoming missiles from Zanzibar!" Samwise yelled. "They read... we hate you, die. Odd messages from Zanzibar dontcha think?"

"Spartan 777 get to the drop pods. There's no time to waste. Some ODST's will accompany you." The captain said.

"So how do we work these things?" said a new ODST. "You strap in, get comfortable, and wait for the timer to hit 00." Said the Squad Leader. Cloud got in a fancy red one. "I like thi-" Cloud was cut off mid sentence by the pod shooting downwards. The timer had reached 00. They were going to be at Zanzibar soon enough. But first they needed to get supplies, so they were dropped at Headlong.

Kite snuck into the dark corners. He checked his human digital watch. It read 11:47pm. It was much better than the inferior covenant junk. They only worked during sunlight. He quickly ran up to a wall, and sidled, his shield brushing against the wall, not making any noise. He quietly ran up the stairs, not seeing any guards. He checked his digital watch. 1:58am. He felt something hit his back. He pulled it out of his neck and looked at it. He was amazed it passed through his shields. It read, "Shield puncturing tranquil-" and that was all he got to read because he suddenly passed out.

Kite woke up. He felt heavy, like he put two 1000lb. weighs on either foot. He walked slowly to the beach. He gradually realized it was day. He checked the watch. 7:16am. He walked over to the place where the phantom was, and waited to be slowly lifted by the gravity lift. He would be punished greatly. But there was no pull of the gravity lift. Only the soft push and pull of the waves... it came to him. "They left without me!" he said to himself. He ran to the beach and grabbed a big rock. He aimed it at the Nav point on his HUD was. He threw the rock. It passed straight through the Nav point. He had been betrayed. He ran into the ocean, and looked into the sky. He could imagine the other elites, grunts, and hunters laughing at him from a camera. A camera... He was probably being watched. He looked at the wall beside him and saw it. Sure enough, it had a blinking red light on it. He shot it three times with the plasma pistol. It melted. He sat down in the water, which came up to his knees when he was standing, and he fell asleep.

After getting supplies at Headlong and stopping at McDonalds, they finally took a pelican with a warthog to Zanzibar. As soon as they got there, Sergeant Josh told Cloud, "You can take the hog. We don't need it. We'll be setting up camp. They didn't notice the slight green and red color, in the water. So as Cloud took the hog around the island, the marines pretended to set up camp. They made a fire, and left it going while they loaded the pelican back up. "Isn't it bad we're leaving Cloud behind?" a Marine said. "Yes, but we have elites on our side. So, we only need the Master Chief." Said Sgt. Josh. Cloud was overhearing that, and he only made out the elites on our side part. But they must have some elite rebels still with the covenant. He thought. So he went on, searching the island. He thought they were loading the pelican to keep the stuff dry. It looked like it was going to rain. It started soft.

Splait splat, pitter pat. Cloud had armor, but it gave a cold chill. He had a weird feeling something was up. He heard pelican engines, but he thought nothing of it. Soon, the rain had accumulated to 3 inches, and it had only been 5 minutes. Cloud had to keep bailing out water from inside the hog. He finally made up his mind and put on the roof. Whrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...*click*. The roof slid into place.

"Aw heck." Said Kite as he woke up. It was raining pretty hard. He heard a Whrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...*click*. And assumed it was just machinery. There were a lot of abandoned machines here. He slowly made his way up the sea wall, next to where the Nav point was. He looked at it, and then took off his helmet. He found the Nav chip and yanked it out. It came out with a ZZZAAPPPP! He put the helmet back on. He also put the Nav chip inside a small pocket in his suit, used to carry ammo. He might need it later. As he climbed up the beach, he saw human activity. He raised his rifle, and then saw that a Spartan had taken off in a hog. He would have to deal with them for later. He put his rifle down, engaged active camo, and sneaked away from the camp.

Cloud put down the roof. It had stopped raining. He drove to the beach, and saw the pelican taking off. He keyed the com channel. "Pelican 90, where are you going?" He asked. "We're going to get supplies. We ran out of propane." Said Sgt. Josh. "Well, when are you coming back?" Cloud asked. He thought he heard the driver say "Never." but he assumed it was just an echo. "We'll come back in three days. If we're not here by then, contact the captain and tell him to pick you up." Replied Josh. "Okey Dokey." Said Cloud as he got out of the hog. It had stopped raining. The water sloshed out like a tidal wave.

Kite heard the pelicans take off. "That Spartan is probably go-" he was cut off mid sentence to see a Spartan, dumping a hog to get all the water out. "**** Rain..." it muttered. He enhanced his view (yes elites can do that too) and saw that he had his name imprinted on his armor. It read, "Cloud-Spartan777". He was going to decide to go say "Hi," when the camera blew in from a sudden gust of wind, bounced off Kite's helmet, and detonated right next to him. It knocked him out for 48 hrs. (2 days.)
