Capture The Flag: Ok...So It's Slayer...

The Spartan dressed in the standard olive green armor teleported to the top story of the red base. He made a quick 360 to make sure nobody was behind him. (Hey, it had happened before...) He noted the M90 8 Gauge Shotgun laying on the floor to his right and exchanged his MA5B Assault Rifle for the heavy-duty weapon. This pump-action M90 was his weapon of choice. He pumped it once and began his descent down the ladder.

The Spartan decorated in the black armor teleported to the tunnel to the right of red base. He saw, directly in front of him, four plasma grenades and clipped them to his belt. He made an about face and instinctively exchanged his M6D Pistol for the M7057 Flamethrower and slung the flame thrower over his back and pulled out is MA5B Assault Rifle. He made his way upward through the tunnels and outside into the cool, crisp air.

The Red Spartan was teleported to the red base (coincidence?) on the bottom floor. She made a 360 and picked up the four M9 HE-DP Fragmentation Grenades and tucked them into her belt. She climbed up to the ladder and grabbed the weapon she knew best. Her S2 AM Sniper Rifle. This baby had been with here through the good and the bad. She grabbed this and dropped here MA5B Assault Rifle. She was highly experienced in long-range tactical battles. Anything close-range, and she was screwed.

The Black Spartan was at the top of the tunnel scanning for the other two. He had to be careful though. This was one death is game over. He had to be cautious around every corner, quiet enough to hear his won heart beat, and quick enough to outrun an M12 Warthog LRV. He crouched behind a rock, scanned once more, and made a silent, mad dash, towards a warthog parked near the red base. He climbed halfway under it and pulled out his MA5B and waited.

The Green Spartan went through the teleporter with his M90 Shotgun in hand. He bolted through the teleporter and made an immediate about face to make sure nobody was behind him. He continued on in a duck walk around the rocks and saw nobody. He made his way through the next teleporter and was now on the red base side. Little did he know, that so was everyone else.

The Red Spartan wasn't stupid. She saw the Black Spartan duck beneath the Warthog, although, she didn't have a clear shot. But then an idea formed in here head. She pulled out her S2 AM Sniper Rifle and aimed for a tire on the vehicle. She had here aim centered and was suddenly punctured by a sister weapon from across the field. Her arm dropped to the side and she ran behind a ledge.

The Green Spartan wasn't a great sharp shooter. He didn't expect himself to get a headshot on that Red Spartan. He thought he'd hit it in the wrist, or somewhere around the area. He tossed the Sniper Rifle to the side and pulled his Shotgun back out.

The Black Spartan saw what had happened and quickly made a scramble from out under the Warthog but was stopped short. Two 14.5mm S2 AM Sniper Rifle bullets had punctured the two wheels on the side he was crawling out from under. It fell on top of and crushed his legs.

The Red Spartan tried to reload as fast as she could with only one useful arm. She was watching the Black Spartan try to scramble out from under the Warthog and almost chuckled out loud, but she kept here composure. She got up and walked to the edge of the base. She steadied the barrel of her rifle against the wall and readied it. She sighted the black armored Spartan and prepared for the headshot. She squeezed down on the trigger but not in time. Another bullet traveled across the field and punctured the Red Spartan's head sending a mist of brains and blood through the air. Her body fell to the ground in a crumpled mass.

The Green Spartan was getting better. He had dealt a headshot to the red armored Spartan and killed here instantly. Now he had to figure out what she was aiming at...

This time the Black Spartan knew where the bullet had come from. He wriggled his way out from under the 6500-pound Warthog and dragged himself into the base. He grabbed a first aid kit and applied some medicines to his hideously disfigured legs. He took his Flamethrower and used the tank of it and put it into his armpit. It worked. It was tall enough to support him as a crutch. He hobbled his way up the ladder and made it to the second story. He hid behind the ledge next to the ladder and used his Flamethrower to rake the Sniper Rifle over to him. He grabbed the Sniper Rifle and steadied it to test its balance. He was good with short-range combat, but he was no rookie when it came to sniping.

The green armored Spartan watched a Flamethrower jut out from behind a ledge and scoop the Sniper Rifle in. He laughed out loud at this. He was ready for anything.

The Black Spartan climbed down the ladder and hobbled his way over to a Warthog outside. It was risky, but if it worked, it would be great. He made his way over to the dead Spartan's body first. He grabbed the corpse, as well as the other sniper rifle. Now he made his way over to the Warthog, making sure he stayed out of view of the other Spartan. He laid the corpse into the warthog and arranged it to make it look like it was driving. He then took the dead Spartans Sniper Rifle and wedged it between the gas pedal and seat as soon as possible. He backed away and watched the warthog drove straight down the field. The trick worked.

The Green Spartan caught something moving to his left. He smirked. It was a Warthog. The Spartan was making a run for it. He clicked into 8x zoom and lead the target slightly. But then he noticed something. That Spartan wasn't black like the other one. This was the dead Spartan. But the thought hardly had time to transfer when a 14.55 mm penetrated the Green Spartans neck and sent a shower of blood and pieces of esophagus around the area.

The Black Spartan smirked at the perfect shot he had let go. "Game Over!"
