The Forgotten bombs exploded in the sky,
The Ring world,
The Malta,
But not the Blue Orb,
Neither the Cairo,
Why?
Thousands advanced against the primitives,
Unggoy,
Kig-yar,
Lekgolo,
Sangeili,
But they held their ground, while losing it,
It was nigh forgotten, their technological shift,
The Second coming of The Spartans, that is why.
Why?
The Parasite drove on,
Devouring everything that lived,
Yet the Demon was no Demon,
And it Destroyed the plague that haunted,
Everything that lived,
Gone.
I have forgotten why,
Yet memories hold faint cries,
Protcol, Sermon all the same,
It is all forgotten,
To my Shame
Why?
Yet I hold steadfast to my beliefs,
So headstrong,
But memories so brief.
Why?
My Final hour lingers on,
Yet, I have not fully lived,
Answers?!
No.
And now I have Gone.
