Halo: The MCconto Chronicles(©) Part 5

Part 5
They entered space through the docking ring at top speed, as mushroom clouds were all over the planet.
The covenant wanted to kill the planet, for an unknown reason for the marines.
They were in the Alpha X-34 system, containing Sol III, Planet Andromeda III, Planet Ross Prime, one of the old Ross race, now inhabitated by humans and some of the last Ross descendants.
Planet Triva Ecta, a red planet, what once was a livefull planet... but now like Mars, red, and without anything left.
Far far away, the constilations could been seen clearly, because they were 'close' to it, still many lightyears, but much closer than Earth towards it.
to the far end, in the Rama - Mara system, Planet Daedalus, andPlanet Icarus, 2 Ring Planets.
The marines were gathered in a hall, what might be the covenant meeting hall. general Silverblade walked in, expecially happy that they were safe from danger. the marines liked the comfortable special seats, enthousiastic like kids.
the general had been very happy by his own seat and used it very comfortable. he was relaxing and wating until the marines were all sitting down.
"present yourselves!" he said.
"Cutter! Lupan! Franz! Zena! Dexa! Peters! Janz! Uriel!Belphaz!Douglas! Spartans!" everyone stood up now. by SPartans, he meant MCconto
"ahhh... we're safe for now... finally some rest. Marines, I give you 96 hours free. Use it well. Sleep a lot, take it easy, you will need your strenght soon." General Silverblade said to the gathered marines. He was looking at all of them, tired, some sick, some still coughing from the sand and smoke they inhalated the past few weeks.
"you are dismissed..." he said, and he turned away from them.
The marines were walking through the corridors talking about gossip and exiting by theyre 96 hours of rest. Some gone sleep all day, but some, were practicing theyre weapon skills.
Others were using the medic deck who was very handy for them, as they did not expected.
The covenants could heal wounds even better and faster than humans.
The covenant ship was expecially suited for the humans, something, they did not expect either.
Once they cleaned up the covenant mess and blood and bodies, the had a special, sort of, luxury, ship. They did not changed much to it so scientists would check it out for research how to destroy covenant ships.
Great move, but they had to think up a way to avoid trouble with the local navy forces in space near the stations.
They would soon reach a subspace node to the Alpha Draconian system, and travel 40 lightyears within 30 seconds, what would take a normal ship about half an year.
The CPU controlled plasma pulse cannons of the covenant ships were active, and pointed out: Attack Allies, so, the covenant forces.
What they saw, is that they had access, to bomb the planet Calendrah at the Beta Drahcohn system, what was a Naval yard Planet, where likely, the Spartan 3 project was pointed out. They covered up the button and the terminal, and began to sit down in one of the chairs of the bridge. Examinating the outside in space, watching all the planets before them, looking how the cruiser passing planets at a faster rate than they experienced before, due to that the covenant ships allways been faster.
They passed planets, as they relaxed in full luxury at the cruiser.
A rare thing indeed.
They salvaged a covenant cruiser, thats one point, but they even had luxury at it, what was most unlikely.
They had expecially luck this ship contained records of covenant movements across the Gamma Draconis system, the Shiva Prime system and even the Covenant Prime system, who contained 22 prime planets of the covenant.
This was expecially helpfull for any fightings in the nearby fututre. But even records of transports, transponders, and it had one of the new covenant technmology, who could create a heavy shield around cruisers and battleships.
A few hours later, they were contact by Valkyrie Interceptors, the best fighters for intercepting bombers and manouvrably movement. They were to escort the humans to the enarby subspace node, now 5000 metres away. But danger could be close now.
As the marines rest, MCconto himself was not resting. He was training his weapon skills 24 hours each day and his hand to hand skill to crush bones of enemy's. but even if they reach the outpost, they still would not be safe. They would need to load up and get other ships. The covenant ship would be commanded and send to Sol II right after.
They reached the jump node, and the ship and the escort moved through it. they saw they passed other cruisers and ships at top speed 1200 miles instantly. They reached the end point fast.
"COVENANTS!!!" the fighters said, and they all turned to it, they all fled away but one ship was firing missiles and bombs towards the cruiser. But the Valkyrie interceptors intercepted the missiles and the bombs, and they hailed him.
"This is the GHF valkyrie Alpha 2, do NOT touch this ship. It contains only friendly humanoids. Repeat, We have captured this covenant ship but it contains only humanoids!"
he hailed back.
"this is Spartan III Codename X -346, I have orders from Mothership/Trade headquarters GHD Arcadia to befight any covenants inbound. Do you contain any Spartan II or Spartan III on this ship?" he said through the intercom to the bridge of the cruiser.
"Roger that, we contain 2 spartans, including 1 Spartan III, and one Spartan X Omega class!" MCconto said through the intercom.
"A -" the spartan in the fighter said, in unbelief of what was said.
"It doesnt matter, Spartan X - 346, we need guidance to Sol II, we carry an great infobay we will desperately need to win the war!" MCconto said.
"Roger that, the navy will support you... and... Spartan X - 346..." Spartan X - 346 said.
Now they finally had support, they first boarded a naval station where they awaited the arrival of support.
