The Battle for Azura City
It was a dark night,
there wasn't a sound of any foot.
The Spartans grip on their weapons was tight,
the enemy wasn't aware of their presence in the soot!
The enemy was ahead in the town,
there was plasma bolts flying through the air.
The Covenant opened fire at the humans as they were ran down,
the Spartans ran into the town seeing the ground black and bare!
They came under plasma fire,
they dropped to the ground.
Assault Rifles rang through the air from man-made mounds,
the Covenant rushed them and were filled with holes.
The Spartans advanced forward,
they were clinging to victory.
All of the sudden the enemy turned,
they came clashing together to make history!
Drop ships came unloading marines,
the Covenant pushed forward through their lines.
A Covenant armada was hiding in a close ravine,
the humans were in a bind.
They fought with all they had,
Sam was in the front.
He gave his last order with a brave tone,
"let's give the enemy one last good hunt!"
The marines and Spartans surged into the foe,
they were brave that day as they lost the battle.
They set an example to go,
That they would never give up and never surrender!
