İİİİİİMaster Chief helped Chief Pedroza to his feet. He didn't know what to say. During the time after Reach, the Halo Incident, he always thought he was the last SPARTAN remaining. İİİİİİ"I know, I know. You thought that you were the last SPARTAN. Long story short, you aren't," said Pedroza. İİİİİİ"How did you...? Never mind! We are here on a mission. Are you in a good condition to fight?" Master Chief replied. İİİİİİ"Well, I have been trapped here for a while... But, what harm will that do. All you need to do is tell me the mission," was Pedroza's answer. "All right. He needed to free the prisoners, which we already did. Now we have to retrieve a secret disc that we heard of on the Covenant Battle Net. According to them, this fortress contains a disc with all the vital information to the Covenant." He paused for a moment. "This disc will help us win the Human-Covenant War. We then need to set of a HAVOC Tactical Nuke, and finally evacuate to the MMEV to get to the MSPS, Spy of Truth." İİİİİİ"Got that. This disc, it will help us win the war? Then we must take the risk of receiving it." İİİİİİ"Before we move out, I must quickly radio in to Spy of Truth." He opened the frequency. "This is Team Omega to Spy of Truth. Cortana, do you read me?" İİİİİİ"You know that I always read you loud and clear." İİİİİİ"We are moving on to phase three, receiving the disc. And, we found another SPARTAN, Chief Pedroza." İİİİİİ"Analyzing... Chief Pedroza was at Reach when the Covenant obliterated it. He escaped in a Pelican Dropship, but was soon intercepted by Covenant Air Patrols. He tried to shake them, but was captured. Well, good luck on phase three. This is Cortana, signing out." İİİİİİ"All right, Marines! It's time you saddle up and move out! Get you gear ready, all of you!" İİİİİİAt that moment, the door burst open. The strange new creatures were back. The Marines fired at them tearing through their ranks. Master Chief moved closer, and aimed his shotgun right at the last one's face. It picked up it weapon, but a little too late. Master Chief looked at their weapons. There were two different types. One seemed to be a Rocket Launcher, the other a Sniper's Rifle. He took them for further study. "Time to continue!" said Pedroza. He seemed strongly anxious to receive the Covenant disc. They proceeded to the checkpoint. Master Chief signaled them to get their Rocket Launchers ready. Master Chief and Chief Pedroza used the Covenant ones. Master Chief signaled three... two... one... They ripped open the doors and fired in all directions. Grunts and Jackals ran while Elites, Hunters, and Defenders (The new creatures) stood and fought. Soon, everything was quiet. Pedroza walked up to the center of the room. He saw something, a large metal object. He blew it open, to find an unwelcome surprise that everyone was sure to hate... To Be Continued... |
