The key has turned, the hour is nigh
Death will on, swift wings fly
It comes as a rustle through the trees
and will sweep your soul to Eternity.
The Ring has been primed and is set to fire
though its starter will die it's his race's desire.
The Flood's been released and is chanced not to fail
the Forerunner's choice means that none will prevail.
Millennia later when their time has expired
Humanities intervention has rekindled the fire
The Covenant fools were convinced by Prophets lies
their alleged Great Journey is one to despise.
Time is short and the Flood must be stopped
The Covenant will learn to reap what they wrought.
The Parasite is coming in numbers measureless to man
but there still is time for us to do what we can.
The key has turned, the hour is nigh
