The raid, the covanent had set up a raid on alpha base. Little did the humans know that five hundred covanent solders were slowly sneaking up on them, until they arrived. Master Chief was putting on his armor when a single elite found his room…

He crept towards the demon, sword in hand, yet something didn't seem right, the demon looked demon except his head, looked human? The demon spun around but the elite was to fast he quickly duck and slashed at his legs, the demon fell to his knees then as the elite raised his sword about to bring it down on the humans head he stopped, for some reason he couldn't kill the human. Three more elites walked into the room, he pleaded with the commander to take the demon prisoner, and he agreed so, dew to his injuries they had to drag the extremely heavy human away to the drop ship.

After the raid

Major Silva, acknowledging the master chief absence, had sent scouting parties through the base to find him, but one came back with terrible news. "We found this sticking out from under the bed," a marine said, producing the Spartans helmet. "And these on the bed," showing the chiefs armored gloves. "We also found blood, like he was dragged away." Another marine added. "Get a sample of the blood, we'll test it to see whose it is." Silva ordered, the marine obeyed and brought the blood. "Blood test confirmed, it is Spartan 117's blood," their AI weselly said, " also I have some evidence to add if I may?" he added. "Show me," Silva said impatiently. A black and white image of the landing pads appeared on his helmets display, a covanent drop ship hovered just off the ground as two elites dragging a Spartan came into view. The Spartans legs were a bloody mess and the elites weren't much better themselves he was surprised they could drag that much weight in their state. It took seven more just to get the chief in the drop ship, then it lifted off. Rewinding it so that they were half way across the pads, weselly explained, "by the looks of it he was cut down the back of the legs, that must be painful… his voice trailed off. "ha, you wouldn't know, so all we know is that master chief is stuck in an unknown covanent ship, surrounded by an unknown number of covanent solders, without proper protection, as a wounded prisoner." Silva said "correct," weselly replied. " Well this is awkward."

A stabbing pain in his legs brought him back to consciousness, where was he? He remembered putting his armor on, sensing something, turning around, a pain in his legs, then his life dancing across his eyes like a video. He opened his eyes and let them adjust to the light, he was in a cell surrounded by three walls and a force field. He tried standing, put the pain was too great, and so he just lay down and slipped back into unconsciousness.

"Tell me, why did you not kill him when you had the chance?" the prophet asked, "He is, only human, what made this one different?" "He is not just a human you're Excellency," the commander explained. "He is the demon."
The high council was having a meeting on the topic of the human prisoner's fate the elite who rescued him was being questioned…
"That's eczactly why I didn't kill him, his eyes... blank and staring. He knew he was going to die, I-I just couldn't." The elite stuttered, "Well, if he knew he was going to die, then why not humor him and finish the job?" the prophet inquired. "Because it wasn't fair. The reason he has killed thousands of our kind was because he is better than all of us," the council gasped. "He could wipe out half of this ship with only two humans by his side, and he was brought down by a single elite? No, this man deserves to live." The elite said confidently. "Indeed… I accept your explanation, and I will order a detention cell set in front of my chamber doors."

What had awoken him? He opened his eyes to see two elites dragging him through halls of covanent who stopped in their tracks and gawked at him. (And he thought he was used to being stared at) through a set of doors they came to a gigantic room the size of a standard ships hanger! The elites dragged him to some sort of cage in the middle of the room, set him in it, and pressed a button. Five force fields sprang to life all around him. Evidently someone wasn't content to let him rot in a detention cell. So relatively certain nothing else would happen, the chief sat against the force field, and looked in his backpack. It contained, a first aid kit, five nutritional packets, and for some reason, a plain gray uniform with the Spartan insignia. With his armor in the state it was the clothing would help. So first he examined and dressed his wounds, then changed into the uniform, sat barefoot on the floor and cleaned his armor. On the opposite side of the room a door opened and two elites stepped out, the white one went on its way, but the blue one headed strait for the cage. the Spartan thought, "hey you, "he yelled, motioning the elite to come closer, "do you speak English? You know my language?" The elite nodded so he continued "why was I put out here instead of staying in the detention block?" he asked. " the prophet has ordered that you be stationed in front of his chambers so all may see our strength but I know it was not by strength you were captured, I am sorry," the elite replied gruffly, turned on its heel, and walked off. the chief thought as the day (or night) progressed, he wished more and more that he could talk to cortana.
