Zuka 'Hulamee strapped himself into the drop insertion pod. He ran a systems check, made sure there weren't any punctures in the armor plating, then slammed the ready button. Another Sanghieli approached the hatch of the pod. There was a small hiss as the module pressurized itself. This was his first time actually using one of these little deathtraps. When he joined the Ultras, 'Hulamee thought that he would be free of the suicidal tactics of the SpecOps ranks. But, turns out that the Sanghieli at the Ultra status had an even greater mental instability, judging that his Commander's plan required the pods to land inside the Brute stronghold.

He watched overhead as the timer counted down from thirty. He made a silent prayer as the countdown reached ten, and when 'Hulamee felt a thump he knew he was about to die. This was absolutely terrifying. The heat continued rising so high his energy shield flared a small bit. Since Elites sweat out a mixture of sweat and excess blood, liquid with a purple tint started leaking down from his forehead. He felt as the first airbrakes fired and the pod lurched upwards and started a spin that would make the probability of impact with the structure questionable.

He looked at the viewscreen when the secondary brakes fired. "Impact in thirty," his commander said over a private BattleNet. 'Hulamee counted down from thirty. Right when he said zero, the pod slammed into the unexpected. A Brute-controlled phantom shuddered as a small object left a hole strait through the aircraft's belly. It spiraled down and lodged its nose inside the floating installation.

'Hulamee's pod bounced once and slammed into a manned turret. The Brute operating it was crushed partially and then he rolled of the side of the station. 'Hulamee shook off the impact the best he could and kicked open the door. The disorientation kicked in, and the warrior was dizzy, dizzy to a point where he could barely stand upright. 'Hulamee injected himself with a stimulant, located his energy blade and found a Brute's energy rifle on the rusted hull of the station. He brought his attention to a series of holes in one wing of the structure where his comrade's pods had landed.

A Brute hurled a spike grenade at them. A small cone-shaped explosion cratered the hull to his left. Little spikes splintered a nearby Jackal full of fragments. Much like a human grenade, 'Hulamee thought. He fired on the nearby Brute with his energy rifle. Blood poured out of the alien, followed by the smell of burnt hair and flesh. The Brute returned fire with nothing but a carbine, which did little effect to 'Hulamee's shields.

'Hulamee threw down the Brute Plasma Rifle and ignited his Energy Sword. In a blur of motion, a blood-soaked brute lied on the metal, cold and dead. He scanned the large station for an entrance inside its hull. Next to the downed phantom there was what looked like a small puncture that had been made by another one of the dropping pods. The only problem was, there was a swarm of drones in the area, with a party of brutes and jackals. From what he saw, about twenty enemies.

The Elite started by lobbing two policed spike grenades at the party. Five drones were shredded into a gory heap, two jackals were launched off the station, and a Brute had been critically injured. One of the enemies noticed 'Hulamee. A huge wall of plasma flashed by the Elite. He opened up with his energy rifle, killing a pair of jackals. A brute came closer than 'Hulamee allowed, and was punished for his efforts. Blue blood splattered the patterned metal. One of the Brutes hefted a gravity rifle, a huge cumbersome weapon that was extremely powerful. The beast fired his weapon at a crate, which sailed towards 'Hulamee. He ducked away, avoiding the possibility of being crushed. A plasma grenade sailed through the air, landed on a brute's arm, and resulted in a violent detonation. One more brute left.

The last remaining opponent was quite larger then most of it's kind, had oily black hair, and had muscles capable of taking on a hunter. "By the gods… a Brute Aggressor," 'Hulamee murmured to himself. He ignited his energy blade and hurled a plasma grenade. The explosive adhered to the Aggressor's back and detonated.

'Hulamee stared in disbelief. He was punched with such force that it knocked him nearly twenty-five feet backwards. His shields had been completely drained. The Aggressor held a Fuel Rod Cannon like most brutes held their carbines; with one hand. The huge beast fired it repeatedly at the Sanghieli, reloaded swiftly, and then repeated the process. 'Hulamee charged forward and dug his blade into the enemy. The Brute flinched, picked 'Hulamee up, and hurled him into a crate. Blood pooled in the corner of his eye.

The Elite found a nearby carbine and emptied a whole clip into the Brutes head. It showed signs of extreme agony, but it kept on approaching. The Aggressor started roaring incoherently, threw down his weapon and charged at the Elite. 'Hulamee dived out of the way. When the enraged brute hit a container the cargo module was dented so fiercely that it could no longer be used.

'Hulamee tried using his sword one last time. Both bodies clashed at top speed, but the Aggressor was stabbed through the neck. 'Hulamee lied on the ground. He tried to push himself up, but no success. Was that his blood, or the Aggressor's? The Sanghieli couldn't tell. His vision started blurring and he saw a white figure approaching him. Zuka 'Hulamee fell unconscious in a pool of blood.
