Buried deep beneath the sand,
Is a structure of significance,
Found long ago on a Far Eastern land,
And left to save those from the damned.
But as the rings of fire and light,
Used the magic of the Gods,
To turn what was wrong back to right,
With a force of unseen power.
Thousands of years came and went,
And the Flood emerged,
But the message that was sent,
Came too late to change the path.
Then a man in bulky armor,
Stumbled upon that sacred plan,
That the Forerunners had unhatched,
When someone broke into their dam.
After a onslaught of blood and tears,
The war of Halo was quickly over,
But as that man reflects back through the years,
He will always remember that the war is NEVER over.
