Beta squad 0900 hours new Mombasa
Conner and his squad had just mudered a squad of elites with no casualties. Conner felt a sigh relief that was interupted by the sound or an explosion behind him and a blood curling sceam of a broot he looked hehind him and there was a spartan the spartan scraping on the ground of a bridge uncontrollably. "Beta squad move in get to that spartan" came our squad leaders voice Trent all 18 of us moved like one to the spartan now standing. Half way there we all stopped their in the sky every where were the covie version of the ODST they came screaming down like comets. Seven of them landed beside the spartan.
John was sorrounded seven covies had just sorrounded him the elites all popped uot of the mini shuttles they raored battle cries to eachother telling the others theyd be the one to kill him. John side pocketed his SMG and pulled out a plasma grenade "betcha cant stick it" cortana said "your on" replied john.
Conner's squad now moved up to help number 117 three black uglies turned in unision and ran at the squad while at the same time their plasma swords sputtered to life one jumped up six feet or so and was emediatly shot out of the sky by 10 battle rifles. Anothers head exploded from a close rang sniper shot. The biggest one 9' tall grabbed Conner by the collar and struck.
John saw three of the elites run off in another direction but he didnt even look why, he still had four more to deal with, the grenade landed on one of the black elites it raored with rage and ran at another to help it they both opened up like blosoming flowers spraying gore every where the other two charged in with flaring swords John raised his SMG and unloaded a clip into one the elite reared up and fell down dead the other one now ready to strike was suprized and pulled back in pain from a broken jaw then John waked it again and killed it. The spartan loked where the others ran of to, there was a squad of marines being charged by them John ran over to help. By the time he got there two were already dead and the last was about to strike a marine.
Conner closed his eyes praying just as he felt the heat on his chest the heat dissapeared Conner opened his ejust in time to see what happened the spartan had pulled the 9 foot elite right off of him ond was now beating the grounded elite without mercy. when the spartan was finished all that was left of the beast was a crumpled corpse. John introduced himself and joined up to lead the squad.
The new squad leader was John as we found out. John lead us to an old abbandoned street where the covenant now owned the squad crept in silently to an abandoned house he split us up into two groups alpha and zeta, alpha was a group of 13 who would now pretect the building or more "stay till we find a way through this rechid place back to an actual base".Zeta was five marines and the master chief the trail squad well find the way to base camp come backand lead them through.
Now we were out sied on a higher ground than the covanant we could see them but they wouldnt notice us unless they new about us. I was in zeta squad with John Paul, Ashley (sniper), Josh and our demolitions expert Cam. John lead us through an alley way he was first we travveled in a line. At the end of the alley was a jackal the jackal was about to yell when John grabbed it tugged it into the dark alley with one hand and snapped its neck.
John was grossed out by the cracking but he didnt show it. He peered out from the corner and three elites sat on the ground talking away. John leaned back into the alley "okay Ashley there are three elites you can take two out without noticing then we take them out while charging" Ashley lay down only letting her face and the rifle show, two seconds later two three CRACK CRACK CRACK from the rifle the team charged oly to see the all three elites dead Conner turned around to see her smile but the smile faded as a loud huming started. John saw a shodow wheel around a corner the shadow fired three rounds a second but the rounds where huge he leaped around a the corner into an alleyway just fast enogh the spot he was in moment ago was filled with heat.

John rolled out of the alley into jackal blood the shadow hovered still until the driver saw the spartan. John knelt aiming his battle rifle calm but every moment the shadow sped closer then BAM John shot the driving elite in the head the shadow swerved to the side crushing the gunner and trapping the passenger but trapped John still knew he could be a threat he climbed the wreckage and saw the elite there now growling but as soon as he saw the grenade the expression changed .

Commander Ziltamee sat in his chair marvelling at his new beautiful golden armour waiting in the once human building now a full fledged covenant ground base with two artillery cannons for air support and a replated exterior to just withstand more then a rocket. Suddenly a blue armoured elite strode into the command room "sir we've received word that the green armoured one is in this region of land and he has a small squad"he said. Ziltamee looked over to him I'm leading an assault force against the human base I'll need ninety grunts, eighty jackals, twenty hunters, sixty elites, two wraiths, six shades, fourteen phantoms and thirty creeps. Sir ill get on it right away" said the elite. ziltamee smiled he liked having command over so much taking this petty human base will be easy he thought to himself. he stood one hand behind his back the other spread on the map of the base, it was big but they are only humans.

Johns zeta squad ran into few problems after the shadow and they ran all the way to the base. It was massive it was 25 acres of military ground surrounded by a wall and a mine field with only one road in which is guarded carefully , the base has an air field hospital and every thing else there were hundreds of marines here, any attack lead by the covenant will have to be big. The chief sat on an uncomfortable chair doing one of the things he hated most, nothing. The chief was called to the command room over speakers by someone with a rough voice. John spead walked all the way opened the door and was greeted "hey greeny nice to see you" Johnson said John saluted sharply and lowered his hand "sir about my mission I asked about earlier" he said Johnson replied "no, mission denied I have something else I need you to lead an assault force against the covenant base you came from. The marines you left their died a covie scout squad found your men and eliminated them." John dropped his head only millimetres to show respect to the men who had died. Sir what do you have in mind" "well you are our most qualified man here so you will lead a covert operation into the enemy base. There you will locate and disable there communications and power. The power is connected to the same thing as the communications so the only thing you will have to destroy is a big battery type thingy" Johnson said. He smiled and stood up from his chair "your team will be the same one you came here with Ashley, Conner, Josh and Cam".

Ziltamee was holding Payap up in the air with one hand "was the green armored human there" he repeated yes yes! Payap said Ziltamee dropped the grunt to the floor and shoved him out of the door. Ziltamee slammed his fist on the rounded table.

John had already begun his trip to the covenant ground base he knew where it was he just came from it all he needed to do was get in quietly the rest would be easy. The squad was now in sight range of the base it was big bigger than he remembered almost as big as the marine's base was it was a human hotel sourounded by two big artilery cannons and rubble was being cleaned upall around the building the base had every covenant they needed including a few brutes. "They must have used the connons to clear the rest of the buildings around them" cortana said. John looked back at the rest of the squad they were kneeling together ready for orders. John looked at Ashley she was their only sniper and she was good, john spoke "ashley you will take out as many of them as you can without being noticed take out only the ones that are alone ok" ashley made her way to the front of the bush they were hiding in she she lay down and for three whole minutes she just stared into the scope, then bang bang bang bang four shots four kills three elites with crumpled corpses and one brute with no more head she reloded and saw the elite in a gaurd tower bang the elites head exploded. but one thing she didnt see, a jackal the corner the jackal screached and slammed an alarm.

Ziltamee heard the alarm and knew the big green human was now in their parameter he looked down on his golden armor and grabbed the sword that had earned him his gold armor.
