Special Ops: Captured
Date: 2 July 2003, 7:52 PM

The roaring engines kicked up dirt and leaves as the giant Pelican Dropship entered the small country of Cameroon. The big troop bay doors slowly creased open. Out of the cargo area walked a lieutenant of the Special Forces squad. His name was Pierce Jackson. He had been the leader of the five-man squad for four years now. This year was by far the best he had ever had. These were the most specialy trained members he had ever worked with.
Out of the pelican came five more men dressed in marine armor but instead of it being grey I was black to signify Special Ops. It was a stronger type of armor than the millenium armor that he marines used.
The five men saluted to Lt. Pierce (Boss) Jackson. Then Jackson saluted back. Then the five men formed a line infront of Jackson. First in line was Sgt. Henry (Hunter) Barrows. He was the team?s demolitions man. He carried an M6D pistol, an MA5B assault rifle, seven frag grenades, two smoke grenades, and a Jackhammer rocket launcher.
Next there was Corp. Jacob (Doc) Anderson, the teams field medic. He carried an MA75 battle rifle, an MD4 pistol, two frag grenades, one gas grenade, and a first aid kit.
The third soldier in the group was Pv. Julio (Shadow) Mendes. Julio specializes in stealth, and carries a silenced M56 pistol, a six-inch combat knife, and an MA5B assault rifle.
The next man was Pvc. Jack (Viper) Henderson, the heavy weapons guy. He had double MG89s, four frag grenades, three smoke grenades, and an MD4 pistol.
Last in the team was a young man named Brian (Ghost) Walker. He was a sniper with unparallel aim. He had an SG-00914 sniper rifle, MA75 battle rifle, an MD4 pistol, and a six-inch combat knife.
"Okay boys listen up, our mission is to locate a downed fighter and bring back any survivors." Jackson told them. "Any questions" he asked. No hands were raised."Okay, lets go." Jackson ordered.
The five men formed a single file line behind Boss.

"Sir, we've been walking now for two hours straight do you think we might be able to take a litle rest." Doc asked.
"Okay but only for a little while." Jackson answered. The six went next to a tree and sat down. They rested and ate for about ten minutes before getting back up again.
The men stood up and arranged their gear. "Weapons ready mode." Boss said to the whole team. They all brought up their assault and battle rifles. "My compass tells me that were only about fourty yards away from the crash site." Jackson informed the team.
Jackson then suddenly stopped, and put his fist in the air signaling the team to stop. He then moved forward into the misty fog.
"Forward!" Jackson yelled. The other five men moved forward to where their commander was.
Through the fog was a small steep hill. The squad quietly crept through the fog towards the shot down ship. "What can you see?" Viper asked Boss.
"I see a large figure embeded in a large whole, and smaller moving figures around it. I need thermal binoculars, does anybdy have them?" Jackson asked.
"I do." Shadow said as he threw the thermal visors to Boss. As he scouted through the fog he could make out that the large figure was the shot down fighter, and that the other figures are either survivors, or enemies.
"I've found the jet, but we need to find out about those other figures that are standing by the fighter. Lets Go!" Jackson yelled as the team tacticly moved through the lush jungle atmostphere. As they came closer they could hear human voices talking.
"Over here." Jackson said as he pointed to a giant rock that would provide cover and a place to discuss what was going on. They quickly ran to the spot behind the rock.
"Okay, now these are humans and I don't recognize those men from any military division. Shadow, I want you to walk over there and talk with them for a little bit. Find out who they are and if they are part of the military. Got it?"
"Yes sir." Shadow responded. Julio quickly ran from behind the rock and slowed down to a walk. He approached the men with caution. He knew if they threatened him pointed a gun at him or something he would have the right to kill or harm them in any way neccesary. Shadow quickly counted the men from a couple yards away. He turned to Boss and flashed five fingers then two. Seven. Jackson nodded as Shadow continued.
He stood behind the man and tapped him lightly on the shoulder. The man looked over voilently.
"Um, excuse me sir, but I was wondering what you guys are doing in place like this?" Shadow asked the man.
"None of your beeswax, so buzz off!" The man finished.
"Answer the simple question or I will be forced to kill you and the rest of your men!" Shadow yelled at the man.
This time the man took it personaly and whiped a pistol out and pointed it right at Julio. Julio did the same as he poined his silenced M56 pistol in the man's face.
"Answer the question or else." Julio told the man.
"Or else what?" the man said rudly.
Just then Shadow pointed his pistol at another one of the man's men, and pulled the trigger. The henchmen fell dead with a small hole in his stomach.
"Get him!" The commander yelled as his soldiers grabbed Julio's arms and wrapped them around his back. They tied his fists together with a black steel pair of handcuffs.
"Crap! They got Julio!" Doc yelled.
Boss clicked on his radio. "Jackson to General Greeves! Come in!"
"Yes, this is General Greeves." The voice over the radio said.
"This is Lieutenant Jackson of Special Forces, we go a team member captured by a sqaud of Rebel troops we need backup, vehicles, or something! We need any thing and we need it fast!? Jackson yelled into the radio.
"Calm down Lieutenant. I'll send some vehicles but tell me about these rebels you saw. What were they wearing?" Greeves asked.
"They were wearing similar to our clothing. Actually about the same thing, no helmet and everything." Jackson answered.
"I think I know what you are talking about. They call them selves the Kaibo. They are a highly trained terrorist organization. If you see any of them take them out. But they are not first priority right now. Did you find the fighter that was shot down that I told you to fin?" Greeves asked.
"Yes sir we have found it. There are no survivors. Positve.
"Okay? I'll send those vehicles down.

Special Ops Chapter 2: The Rescue
Date: 3 July 2003, 12:03 AM

The pelican swooped down to the location of the Special Forces squad. The bottom of the ship opened widely as a Warthog was lowered down on a strong piece of rope. Next to it was a Monsune motorcycle.
"Okay men pile up in the jeep and follow me on the motorcycle." Jackson told the team as he mounted the bike.
Viper sat in the driver seat, Doc was in the passenger seat, Hunter sat behind viper, and Ghost manned the LAAG minigun.
"Lets go!" Boss yelled as he sarted off on his bike. The trail twisted and turned and soon came to a dead end of shrubbery and trees.
"Pile Out!" Boss yelled as the soldiers did immediatly. "Our previous mission was kind of a failure. Lets hope this one is not." Jackson said as the team nodded. "Were going to go a different route to find the enemy position. Now, lets go." Jackson said as he lead the team through bushes and grass. "Split up men!" Jackson ordered. "Hunter follow me." Jackson said. Hunter nodded as he walked over to Boss. "I want you to cover me. Just in case something happens.Start walking men! Jackson ordered.

Boss and Hunter walked with caution as they headed north to find their capture teammate,Shadow. There was a slight breeze blowing and trees made a quiet sound.
"What was that? Did you here that?" Hunter asked Boss.
"It's just the wind in the trees, Henry." Jackson explained.
"No, that clicking sound. Like a gun reloading or something." Hunter said worried.
They both stopped in place. The sound came again, but this time like little voices chatting.
It's coming from over there. Hunter said pointing to the West. It came a third time and this time the two soldiers heard it and saw it. A small group of bushes brustled and shook.
What do you think that could be?" Boss asked Hunter.
"Lets go check it out." Hunter said as he started to walk over there. They both had their weapons out and ready for combat.
"I can't see, the grass is too tall." Hunter complained.
"Okay, on three we pull back the grass. Ready, 1..2..3! The two pulled back the tall grass and found four grunts gathered in a circle. They all turned around and looked at Boss with his M6D pistol aimed at the first grunt's head. "AAHHH!!ENEMIESSS!!AHHH" The grunt in the back screamed.
Jackson pulled the trigger on his pistol. The first grunt flew backwards with a gaping hole in it's neck. Hunter quickly gunned the other three grunts down with his MA5B assault rifle.
"Ohh great. Covenant are hear. Lets hope they killed off the Kaibo for us." Hunter said.
"Lets hope they didn't kill Julio." Jackson replied. "Now come on, we've got to get going." Boss said.

Doc ran quickly through the jungle to avoid any enemies that might be lurking deep in the jungle. He could not see very good in the thick fog.
CRASSHH! The huge tree trunk came down with a crash. On top of it were about five jackals with blue protection shields. He unpinned a gas grenade a tossed it into the jackals. Green gas rose high into the air. He then took out his MA75 battle rifle shot randomly into the gas. Doc heard one of them let out an earpiercing scream as it died from the shots of the battle rifle. Jacob unpinned a frag grenade and tossed it in the same place as the gas grenade.
The explosion finished off the rest of the jackals and made the way clear for Doc. Up ahead in the distance, a large outpost like figure could be seen. Doc ran as hard as he could.

Viper walked slowly through the leaves and sticks as he kept a close eye out for any enemies that came his way. Nothing would stand a chance against Jack Henderson because of his very powerful arsenal. His MG89s could cut anything that crosses his path.
Suddenly behind him crawled a pack of six Elites. Viper had never seen such a deadly looking creature before. He had come in worse encounters than this in the years past. Black and Silver Elites were worse than this. He had nothing to worry about.
Viper open fired on the blue-armored Elites. Four of them quickly were shot dead. The fifth was soon cut in half and the last had enormous holes in his body. Viper smiled as he turned away.

The five met up with Brian at the begining of the small terrorist outpost.
"I see Julio." Brian said to the rest of the group and pointing to a large cell in the corner of the camp.
"I have a plan. Viper, you assault the main building with your heavy weapons, then me and Ghost will rescue Shadow, Doc and Hunter will back up Viper. Got it?" Jackson asked.
      "Got it." The team said.
"Good, lets go." Jackson said as the squad got into position.
Boss and Ghost approached the cell quietly.
"Julio." Ghost whispered as Shadow looked over.
"How do we get you out of here." Ghost asked.
"There's key keeper in the building across from the main office." Julio replied.
"guard this area, will you Boss."
Ghost crept over behind one of the offices and went to the end. Brian out from the side of the structure. The coast was clear to go. He ran as fast as he could across the way. He ducked under the window and crouched on the front steps. He popped his head in the room. He saw the key keeper standing and stretching
The firing of Viper got the key keeper's attention. Ghost jumped out and suprised the key keeper. Before he could reach for his weapon, Brian grabbed him around the neck and drew his knife.
"What business do these men have here?" Ghost asked.
"We have a huge mining project going on in Egypt." The key keeper said.
"Thank you for that information." Ghost said as the key keeper dropped to the floor with blood gushing from his neck. Ghost reached down and grabbed the key to Julio's cell.

Julio stepped out of the cell and greeted his teammates.
      "Thanks guys."

Chapter 3: The Battle Of Cairo
Date: 3 July 2003, 7:32 PM

The Wraiths, or as General Greeves would call them, sat quietly on the Freight Carrier on the way to Cairo,Egypt. Their mission in Cairo is out find out what the Kaibo is doing and who is behind it.
      "How long?" Viper asked.
"Were here. Get ready!" Boss yelled as he was getting ready to parachute out.
The men strapped the chutes to their backs formed a single file line behind Jackson. "5....4....3..2.1!" The whole squad leaped out the cargo bay doors. As they free fell they could see buildings and AA guns. This was the biggest outpost they had ever infiltrated and were severely outnumbered.
As the team hit the ground they cut their parachute ropes and took the pack off.
"Remember, we fight as a squad. We die as a squad." Jackson reminded the team. "Lets Go!" He yelled to the team.
"Follow me!" He ordered. The men followed in a split formation.
"We'll split up into three teams two. Viper, you come with me, Hunter, go with Doc. Ghost, go with Shadow. Understood?"
      "Yes sir." The men said.

"Whose that?" Ghost asked looking down the horizon of the dessert.
"Holy crap! thats the whole UNSC force." Jackson said suprised. He then clicked on his radio. "General Greeves, what the heck do you think your doing, sending the whole frickin' army to Egypt!!" Boss said angerly over the radio.
"It was my only option, Jackson. So unless you wanted earth being destroyed I'd help those soldiers I've sent!" Greeves yelled back.
"Yes sir, Jackson out." He clicked off the radio.
[indent"Come on boys, lets help this army out. Stay in your groups. Once we get down to the battle all hell will break loose.
Jackson grimly looked down onto the outpost. Suddenly, his eye caught something. A Blackish-Gold Elite was standing and the entrance to the outpost.
"Julio. Do you see what I see down there?" Jackson asked.
Shadow grabbed his thermal vision visors from his back and looked through the the scope.
"I see a gold armored Elite with black skin." Shadow answered.
"Exactly. But what would Covenant be doing in a Kaibo base camp?" Jackson questioned himself.
"Lieutenant Pierce Jackson! Good to see you. I'm Major Howard Frank of the UNSC." The man said coming up on Jackson's back.
"Shut your mouth, Major. Have you realized were about to go to war!" Jackson yelled to Major Howard.
"Have you got a Lieutenant or Sergeant around here?" Jackson asked out loud.
"I am sir." A man said coming out of he group. "I am Sergeant Lake. We were sent here by General Greeves to destroy a Covenant Beam Cannon.
"What? our mission was to infiltrate and kill the Kaibo leader. Not to destroy a Beam Cannon of the Covenant's. Now, did Greeves tell you anything else?" Jackson asked the man.
"Yes, he also sent us to eliminate the Covenant Chief, Orcita Valito." The man answered.
Jackson nodded. "Lets Go!" Jackson boomed. The whole army scattered and hurried down the hill. Behind the infantry was the 101st armor division of UNSC.
Jackson and the squad lead the way into the Covenant outpost. The first enemy in sight of Jackson was a Jackal at the begining of the building. Jackson drew his MA75 battle rifle and fired a couple rounds into the outpost.
The huge mass of the UNSC met up with the huge mass of Covenant. Battle raged for hours until as the UNSC were being sadly defeated. It was up to the Special Forces squad to make the difference.
"Hunter, get over here." Jackson called as the heafty man made his way to Jackson.
      "Yes sir?" Hunter said.
"Do you have any more of that C4?" Jackson asked.
      "Nope." Hunter answered.
"Okay, The Covevant does. See that group of barrels over there, shoot it with your Jackhammer.
Hunter aimed his rocket launcher towards the target and shot. The missle whistled through the air and hit the barrels on impact. 3/4 quarters of the outpost was destroyed including the main objective, the Beam Cannon.
"Mission successfull." Jackson happily reported over the radio.
"Good job, come on home." Greeves reported.
"Ghost, Viper, Shadow, Hunter. this mission was a success. I am very proud. For now we get to take a break on Longsword. Lets also hope our next mission is as successfull as this one." Jackson told his team.
The team nodded in agreement. "There's the pelican men, hop aboard.
The six men hoped aboard as the pelican revved it's engines and took off at 230mph.

Chapter 4: Weapons of Mass Destruction
Date: 3 July 2003, 10:00 PM

The longsword capital ship slowly moved through space as General Greeves sat in his office sipping on his freshly brewed coffe.
The door to his office was opened as six men walked in. "Good morning General Greeves." They all said in unison.
"Good morning to you. How was your two months off?" Greeves asked the team.
      "It was, Okay." Viper said.
"Good. Because I have yet another mission for you men." Greeves explained as he turned on the holo-panel. The Panal projected a set of three men dressed in same clothes they saw the rebels in when Julio got caught.
"These three men are top officers of Kaibo. Their camp lies off the coast of Florida. This mission will take place during night, so bring the right gear. You will also be getting there by boat and landing on a small beach right outside the base.
      "What about civilians?" Doc asked.
"The base is no were near any village what so ever." Greeves asked.
"What are our main objectives?" Ghost asked.
"Your main objecives are to destroy these munitions crates and to eliminate those officers." Greeves explained pointing to particular spots on the projection.
      "Understood?" Greeves asked.
"Sir yes sir!" The men yelled.
[indent}"You leave tomorrow." Greeves said as the men walked out.

Off The Coast Of Florida-11:30 p.m.

The small raft floated along as the squad waited quietly to reach shore. Doc and Boss loaded their MA75 battle rifles, as Shadow loaded his MA5B assault rifle and Ghost did the same with his SG-00914 sniper rifle.
"Thirty seconds!" Viper called to the rest of the group. They all got ready for a huge ambush.
CLANK! The raft hit rock and the six stumbled out of he raft.
"Up there." Shadow whispered pointing to a glow of light above the hill.
"That must be coming from one of their fires. Follow me." Jackson said.
They all hurried o the top of the hill and hunkered down. There they got a perfect view of the whole camp. "Heres the plan, Shadow you go down first, then followed by me. Doc, Viper and Hunter go around to the other side. Ghost, you go to our left and find a good vantage point." Jackson explained.

Shadow slid quietly down the hill into the dirty base. Right behind him Boss came sliding down.
"What do want to do?" Boss questioned.
"I have an idea." Julio said drawing his knife. He then scampered over behind one of the buildings listening to every little sound that was made. On the opposite side of the building he could here two rebels talking.
"In 24 hours the nukes destroy this place and we get out of here." Julio heard one of them say. He even got closer to the men and also had his M56 in his other hand.
He quickly jumped out and shot one of them in the shoulder knocking him to the ground. The other one bent over to see if his fellow soldier was alright. Shadow jumped out again and stabbed the other man in the back with his combat knife, killing him.
Julio waved Boss down. He quickly came. "Nice work Julio." Jackson complimented. "Now it's my turn." Boss said aiming his MA75 at a group of terrorists. He then squeezed the trigger. The loud burst of bullets filled the sky as two of the five men fell dead. The three other terrorists came running as well as firing off assault rifle rounds. Boss put his back to the wall to avoid being hit. He waited ten seconds then stood back out. Boss fired off another two rounds before reloading. Fortunatly he killed his targets.
"Lets wait for the other men to get finished before moving on." Boss said.

Doc, Hunter and Viper moved in a horizantal line underneath a large tower with a spotlight in it.
"Doc, climb up there and take out that guy." Viper insisted.
"No, you Viper." Doc said back.
      "Hunter you go."
"No I don't want to!" Hunter said louder than normal. Just then a bullet rang out into the silent night as the rebel manning the spotlight's heart exploded. Hunter looked over from where the bullet came from. "Where did that come from?" Hunter wondered. He then spotted it. A large tree across the way had a man sitting in it. "Ghost!" Hunter excietedly said.
"Hey, where's Shadow and Boss?" Doc asked.
"Over there, see they're waving," Viper told him.
"Lets go meet 'em." Doc insisted as they quickly made their way across.

"There are five of us here. Where's Ghost?" Jackson asked.
"He's up in that tree over there." Hunter told Boss as he held up a small flashing device to signal Gost to come.
After a short amount of time, Ghost finaly made it back. "Ghost, did you snipe any officers?" Jackson asked.
"Yes, I got two." Ghost answered.
"Good we got all three. Julio here stabbed him in the back." Jackson explained.
Boss clicked on his radio. General, we got all three officers and need an airstrike and pick up." Jackson old the General.
      "Will do." Greeves reported.
Overhead a UNSC fighter soared over dropping it's share of bombs and did the job. Followed by a Pelican.
"Climb Aboard men." Jackson shouted as hey all climbed on headed back towards Longword.
