Revival of the Covenant: Prologue
Date: 22 August 2005, 2:59 am

LOCATION:On
Halo's surface
MISSION CLOCK:???
COURSE:The top of the Forerunner structure

The cave was not a natural formation, someone had to of built it.In the middle of this cavern was a large structure the made cavern shudder and if the constant thud ofthe structure echoing throughout the cave wasn't enough to catch your ear the sound of warthog's pulling up to the middle of the structure would be. "Take the A.I. up to the top of this structure here and letthe gaint hammer thing and crush it into dust"said Sergeant Ross."It will be done, sir"replied Kalame. Slowly the squad ascended up the structure until the had reached a shadow."Halt" ordered Kalame. The elite's eyes could see farther and had gotten used to telling when
there a was stealthed elite around. "Keep your eyes pealed there are stealthed targets in the area" proclaimed Kalame.
"We've got a problem sarge." "Oh, what is it now private!" , but whilethe sergeant was ratting out on the private, he didn't notice Kalame and his elite squad head up the cliff face beside the structure and reach an area that lead to the top of the structure and the object that persistently
kept on smashing into the structure constantly. "... find a way up tothe top now Private." "Yes,sir" yelled the private, and he ran off justin time to bump into Kalame' and his squad of elite's" Do you have away to get the top yet, private" "Sir, No sir" "Tell the sergeant that
I have found a way up the structure." calmly ordered Kalame'. So theprivate ran to the Sergeant and told him about Kalame's discovery. Thesquad ran up to the cliff face that led to the top of thestructure."Well , after you Sergeant." "Kalame' you still can put a smile on a
man's face" chuckled Sergeant Ross. Kalame's father had been part ofthe Covenant, and when the Covenant Civil War started his father wasone of the first elite's to rebel against the Prophets, Brutes, Drones, and Jackals, which made him priority No.1 to kill during the Civil War.
His Father was given names like Holy Heretic and Heretic Leader, but hewas in the High Sanctum of the Prophets the day the Civil War started on High Charity. His father got help from fellow elites and managed to steal the Prophet of Regret's Flagship and escape to earth, where he got married to a female elite named Casandra, it was odd that his
mother had a human name, and had a small child with a large future ahead of him named Kalame meaning the key to revival ,outside of the hospital room Kalame was born in his father met Patrick Ross whose wife was in labor with their second born child named Elijah. As Eli and Kalame gotolder they started to play games of all sorts with Eli's older brother
named Joseph. They played lots of war games that Eli and Kalame enjoyed,a lot,. So as the two got older, stronger, and wiser they decided that they would join the UNSC. Eli was far better than Kalame with an kind of human weapon while Kalame was the best Field Master in the UNSC.Not but a few weeks ago ONI had given Sgt.Ross,Kalame, and Eli's superior Sgt.Leroy.To pick out a few soldiers for one of ONI's ridiculous plans that would buy them enough time to finish the real top secret project. It bought them enough time, enough time to almost kill everyone in the galaxy. The project's chip that kept the Forerunner A.I. from taking over the users body. The chip got fried after taking a stray
gauss cannon's projectile to the head and the A.I. took control everyone died even Earth's Ambassador. Those who survived the attack were the team Kalame helped pick, himself,Eli,and the Vice Ambassador. The team's leader Sgt.Leroy was killed by the beasts clones, that the A.I. had
built clones of the person's suit he was inside.Yet these clones weren't as effective as the original. The origianl killed the other team members all except Alex Cortez.Alex had no emotion of love before he met Beth and got married and had a daughter.Kalame rose and began to ascend up the cliff face. This would be the day when Kalame' would take on his father's role as the Holy Heritic and yet once again another Civil War will be started. As the squad began ascending up the cliff face Kalame' thought about his father, the prophets, this A.I. and wondered why it is such a threat that it has to be destroyed, and the Demon and the atrocity that he caused at Halo 04. Before the Elite knew what was going on they were at the top of the stucture stopped in front of a stealthed elite squad.
"We will not let you destroy a sacred icon of our gods, now put it down or face the wrath of the Forerunners!" exclaimed the furious Spec Ops Elite. "Why should we listen to you!"said the Private Kalame' had met earlier. Before the private could breath another breath, a stealth Elite sliced
him in two. "You there, Field Master." the Spec Ops Elite had pointed at Kalame'."These Humans have defied the treaty between the Elites and the Human race." "What!" exclaimed Kalame' "Yes, the humans destroyed two Elite ships for no reason, one more thing your... father .he was on the first
elite ship to be destroyed." "NO! I do not believe you." "Then I will show you" out of the Spec Ops Elite's equipment pack came out the helmet of Kalame's father. "NO, NO, NO! yelled Kalame'. Out of rage Kalame' pulled out his energy sword and slahed and gutted every last human around except, Sergent Ross. "I. I can not kill Elijah he is the
only friend I've ever had." "His father was commanding the ship that destroyed your father's ship." "Kalame' don't listen to him he's lying,my father wasn't out on on duty today." quickly replied Sergeant Ross."I can not ignore the facts Eli, goodbye old friend." and with that last swipe from Kalame's energy sword he had gained his fathers old title of Holy Heretic.

Revival of the Covenant: Chapter 1
Date: 28 August 2005, 3:58 am

Kalame entered the bridge of the Righteous Devastater, it looked very similar to the pictures his father showed him of High Charity before it became under flood rule and was later destroyed by The Demon. The Demon was still a mystery to Kalame, perhaps he should study more about him.Kalame had been shuttled over to the Righteous Devastater by the Spec Ops Elite and his squad, when they arrived two Honor Guards sent Kalame to speak to the 1st elite in command. On his way to the bridge to the Righteous Devastater Kalame spotted two honor guards that were speaking softly about something odd. Kalame was about to start back on his way to the bridge when he overheard one of the honor guards say, "The High Prophet of Law commanding us now, the commander is now second in command." That was the Prophet that had exiled his father from the Covenant over 40 years ago. The only reason why his father had been allowed on High Charitythe day the covenant civil war started was because the prophets had change their mind about exileing him and instead had decided to hang his corpse on the outer layer of one of their flagship cruisers and let him suffocate in space with no air for him to breath. "Please say I won't have this prophet recognize me as my father's son." Kalame continued to travel through the Covenant ship as if he and eli were at a amusement park. Kalame let out a sigh What had possed him to him to kill his life long friend Elijah Ross. Was it the Spec Ops commander or just the fact of his father being dead. Everything has gone twisted since he was assigned head of ONI operations for Earth. Earth. It seems so far away with his concerns ." Why am I thinking this way." thought Kalame in his head so nobody could hear him. Then a very large booming voice came to Kalame inside the comfort of his head exclaiming, " Though you may be alone for now but very soon you and others will unite the other elites against the humans and revive the COVENANT! "WHO'S THERE." Kalame demanded to know saying it out loud, but as soon as the voice appeared it disappeared without a trace of where it came from.

The feel of vertigo entered the elite's oddly shaped helmet and then slowly entered his head. He knew he had came back. "Well", "I've talked to the field master and he has ... not came to a conclusion, I must depart for a while, your future... it is clouded fate will have to play this out, see to it that my servent it is not harmed on the way back from the caves of the future. "It will be done holy one." "Good you best see that the field master has came to a conclusion upon my return." finished the voice of the one called the Voice of the Past and Future. The elite commander breathed a sigh of relief, the high prophets can read minds but luckaly Ruka was nowhere near the Prophet of Law. "I swear by the Forerunner that if the Prophet of Law ever catches me talking behind his back he will have my head on his staff before we even reach earth."I must speak to Hulak about the humans and the earth they thrive on. With hope the elite commander might just come back to the halo installation and revive the Covenant. With hope humanity might survive.

The voice had gone but it was not far of he could still feel his sense of vertigo present still here, no the voice was close by closer than he had thought. Kalame walked into a mini gravity lift for traveling around the ship quicker during a activation of the ship being engaged with a human vessel this ship held 6 of the Covenant's "Holy Beams", a cloaking device, and held 10 covenant destroyers, 14 regular cruisers, and 8 flagships. If a human vessel attacked this ship they would be smoldering corpses in their homemade sun. It's Infantry consisted of over 1,000 seraph fighters, over 850 specters, over 800 ghosts, 759 banshees, 648 Shadow dropships, and 590 wraith motor tanks. This ship had over enough power to take over earth and Reach II. Kalame finally arrived at the Commander's Command post. As Kalame looked over the room he found that commander was not on the bridge at the time, the only living thing in the room was the pilot. "You there Pilot." "Yes, Sir" "Where is the commander, pilot." "Sir, he said to go and talk to the Prophet of Law and after you were through to go and meet him by the statue of the Prophet of Truth in the Inner sanctum of the High Ranking Elites and Prophets. Also he wants to talk to you about something he called the voice." Kalame froze. "So the commander knew who this voice that was speaking to him is trying to tell him or maybe he just wants to kill me in a silent matter" thought Kalame silently. "Thank You, Pilot. I shall go and speak with the Prophet of Law and then speak with the Commander." thanked Kalame and he walked off to go and talk to the Prophet of Law. Kalame noticed that the bridge was right across from the Prophet of Laws Chamber. Kalame had decided to take the long way around through the weapons cache to figure out what to say. Kalame's father told him that the High Prophets could see what you were thinking even if you were not right in front of them. Kalame came to a halt at the door of the Prophets Chamber and breathed heavily in then out with a long sigh. Kalame entered the chamber and found that it was smaller than he had thought. "Welcome Field Master, I hope that you've found your way around easier than I when I first came aboard this gargantuan ship." Greeted the Prophet of Law. "I will make this quick, I want you Field Master to lead the army of Elites on the human homeworld... Earth." Kalame replied quickly with,"I will lead the Elites with honor into the battlefield on the filthy humans planet."

"It is done."

Eight hours Ago

MISSION CLOCK: 14:00
LOCATION: EARTH, ZANZIBAR
DESTINATION: NONE AT THE TIME

The gentle breeze of the wind blew against the hard olive armor that Master Chief Cortez wore. The top of the windmill had been reinforced with Titanium-A armor to keep most of the arms fire from hitting the high ranking officers, ONI and FLEETCOM along with Chief Cortez and an ODST Lieutenant were all sitting up on that windmill that day. The day that humanity will not forget easily seeing how this was the day that the Spartan III program was tested and the Covenant was revived. "Chief Cortez are your men ready?" "Yes, Sir" "Lieutenant Robinsin are your men ready?" "Yes, Sir." "Three, two, one Go, Go, Go.

The Spartan team looked out into the calm waters and knew by instinct that a storm was brewing. The peacefulness was ended by the three words the Spartans had been waiting for all day, Go, Go, Go. The squad met up at their main strategic point on the beach behind cover just in case the stupid ODST rush us again like the last ten times."Spartan company assemble." ordered Joseph. Joseph was second in command then Will, then Craig, then Rachel, then Rob.
All the Spartans had their own little stories to hide from their, past. Even Chief Cortez had something to hide. Something big."Will take Craig and head up on through the sea wall and through that one cubby hole. "Will do." remarked Will. "Rachel come with me and Rob take a sniper position up on top of the sea wall take out the most dangerous targeys first then move to a new position." "Everyone move out go, go, go." The Spartan team moved inside and out through the sea wall's trench. Joseph and Will's squad moved through the area like cockroaches
being chased by an enormous boot. One wrong move and the team could end up being pinned down by ODST's. Unfortunately that didn't happened. Turrets instead, decided to pin them down."Rob take those turrets out!." "Sorry Joe the wheel is in the way, wait." Two sniper bullets flung themselves into the turret men's heads. "Turrets down." stated Rob.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw a tank and two warthogs heading Will and Craig's way when she told them,"Will, Craig you've got a tank and 2 hogs heading your way." "Alright we'll take them down." Why would the ODST use a tank this has always been nonlethal training? "Rob." "Yea" "Who's standing up there with the Chief, Robinsin, Lots of FLEETCOM officers and a few ONI officers." "That's why they're using a tank, ONI must need us for a mission!" "Well let's not disappoint them." finished Rob as he took out three ODST with one bullet.

Will saw the first hog as he threw the driver out of the second one knocking the ODST unconscious. "Will check this out." said Craig as he threw a frag grenade dud fliping the warthog on it's back. "Craig, your about as smart as these rocks over here, you could have killed one of those poor ODST. Craig didn't respond "I guess he must be beating those ODST unconscious." "I guess that leaves the tank for me" Will thought.

Ice just turned the corner when a Spartan jumped on the front of the tank he was driving and ripped the top right of that hatch that protected him from the Spartan and it failed.Ice was thrown from the vehicle and was knocked unconscious.

"What should we do with him." said an ODST. "Let's take him to the Sergeant." said another as they lifted Craig on their hog and went inside the base.

When the Spartan's mopped up the last ODST they met in the cubby hole inside the wheel so the officers couldn't evesdrop on their conversation. "Will where's Craig" "I don't know I was hoping after he got rid of the ODST's fist hog he wnt to find you all." Then all of a sudden Craig broke out over the COM "Will they've got me inside their base they want to kill me and.. a background voice broke over the COM "Hey he's calling for help quick shut that off and take him to the Sergeant." Static. Then nothing. "Guy's I've got a plan just listen for the signal, okay. said Will as he ran off. "Will what do we do we do when the singnal sounds and how do we know what's the signal." " Rush the base, trust me you will know what the signal is when you hear it."

"Hey guy's look Ice is back and with the tank this time." said an ODST "Wait a minute that's not
our color armor THAT'S A SPART...

A huge blast shook the ground. " That must be the signal." "Alright everyone rush the base now
that was our signal."ordered Joseph. As Joseph and his team entered the base the could smell the smoldering corpses of ODST's and when they got inside they saw Craig had a shotgun to the ODST Sergeant's head. "Will what did you tell me about hurting the ODST." "What did you want me to do come in here and try to beat everyone to death with a rock, I droped my rifle by the rock over there when I got inside the tank. "Well done everyone it just so happens that ONI has a mission for us

Revival of the Covenant: Chapter 2 "Sacrifice"

"Exiting slipspace in five, four, three, two, one." The Righteous Devastator had it's first glimpse at Earth, After 101 years of slipspace and then a quick pickup it finally reached it's destination...Earth. As the Prophet of Law looked around through the observation window on the bridge he saw Covenant Flagships and cruisers helping the human ships move machinery and weapons. "Field Master, what is going on why is there no fighting, why is it so...." "Peaceful" responded Kalame "Thank You Field Master, Commander report to the Prophet of Law's chamber as soon as possible." "Would you like to stay and watch the main event Field Master?" "I must decline your invitation, I must speak with someone who has sparked my interest." "Good Day to you then Field Master." spoke Law. Kalame exited Law's chambers without a thought in his head. Kalame came to the bridge once again, and this time there was not a living soul there. The room had an eerie glow from the controls and COM system, the room was silent. "Oh well there's no use standing here wating for no one." thought Kalame. As Kalame continued on he entered the room with the unknown voice he noticed not a single soul was here either. "Where on Earth is everyone ?" thought on Kalame. As Kalame exited the tower of the hollies he noticed the teleporter was on Kalame looked to the left then to the right. No one. "What is there to lose?" burst out Kalame as he steep into the portal and was blinded by a white light.

The pilot entered the room with a great big, "Whew." "Where is the Field Master, he is vital to this part of the meeting. Oh well we need to find a way to kill the Prophet of Law for the one. So any ideas?" "Would the one's servent be obliged to help us for saving him from certain death." replied the Spec Ops commander. "No, the One would not allow it, and the One is away for a time..." "Not long enough, I must say Ruka give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now for not getting the Field Master to join us in..."As soon as the one had spoken Kalame burst through the teleporter, but he was still blinded so he had no clue what was going on in front of him. "The Field Master is here, my lord." "You must forgive me Ruka, something has disturbed my thoughts as of lately." "It is okay, we should get back to the topic at hand, killing the Prophet of Law." By now Kalame could see once again and was astonished at the sight of so many Elites in one place. "Holy one may we use you or your servant we are returning from the caves for you, to use him to kill Law." "No you may not. I'm sorry, but as soon as I have my servant by my side we will head to the Holy temple of Thargelion." "Then how are we to kill Law!" burst out Ruka. An eerie silence followed, until Kalame spoke up. "Get him to trust someone with guarding him, always having you at his side and promote elites to higher ranks that know the plan and when the time comes you can kill him without notice." "Amazing you truly must be you Tremle's son." whispered the One. "Great, now all we need is someone Law will trust... Field Master, would you do the honor to rid us of this vermin." "I would be obliged to kill the one who wanted to hang my father on one of his flagships, in fact I would like to taste the blood of the Prophet's just for revenge for what they did to our brethren, my father, and what they did to me!

SPARTAN MISSSION CLOCK: 18:00 HOURS
LOCATION: ON BOARD THE COVENANT SHIP
MISSION: ROOT OUT THE COVENANT PROPHET AND DISABLE THE COM LINK

The Spartan team sliped on through the escape pod hatch their ship had locked on to. "Joseph status report." "Everything operational and all equipment counted for, sir." "Yeah right all weapons acounted for, where's my rocket launcher?" "Sorry Craig we couldn't bring it along, it could have made a breach in the ships hull." "Excuses, Excuses." sarcastically replied Craig. "We are going to have to split up into teams, if you look at the shcamatics of the ship you'll see that this ship differs from any other in our databanks, except one, they called that ship High Charity this ship is called the Righteous Devastator and unlike High Charity this ship harbors infantry, ships, vehicles, fighters, and over a 100 Scarabs on each flagship. In other words if these new Covenant wanted to invade Earth right now they could and win." Will let out a long whistle. "So if your saying we take out their COM link that it will slow them down, but that would give them more time to recruit more troops?" responed Will. The Chief let out a long sigh. "Well no matter what we feel like doing we have to follow orders. ONI wants this ships leader and the COM link severed. Intel says that this ships leader is supposedly a Prophet." "Okay prophet or no prophet are we allowed to destroy this ship." "No ONI wants to study this ship's effect on slipspace and other useless crap." "Okay" "So here's how we're going in Craig you come with me so you can sever the COM link, Rob andddd, Joseph give me and Craig cover I know we'll get in one hell of a fire fight as soon as we screw the COM, and Rachel and Will go examine the rest of the ship, stay away from the Prophet's chambers which is located here. The Chief showed the Spartans the location on a map of the ship in their HUD. Okay stay in the shadows and out of sight." "Good Luck."

"Are you up to the task, Kalame?" "Yes I am ready as my faith is strong." "Then we shall see how strong your faith is. You and Ruka, along with the soilders of the rebelion are released until further instructions are given." " Thank you, sir." "Company move out." bellowed Ruka. As the elites left the room a figure spoke in his native tounge. Kalame walked over to the darkness.

Rachel let out some odd sounds atracting an elite's attention. "Will get on my back so I look like an elite." "Oka..." "Will, don't get cocky" "Sorry, Alright." The elite came over and didn't notice the two spartans, and instead thought the spartans were an elite. The elite spoke back to Rachel in the same dilect, but with every word he would stop then start again. The elite walked off and left the spartan's to their thoughts. "Rachel didn't that elite seem a little like the elite the chief always talked to during the morning runs over at the shiping yard?" "Wasn't his name Kalame?"

Odd that elite was awful at their native tounge, especialy for an elite who is traveling with a prophet. "Oh well I must stratagize for the rebelion, killing Law and demoting his honor gaurds will prove to be more than I can handle I bet." Kalame walked to the teleporter that he entered through earlier, oddly enough the teleporter didn't blind him as he walked through it this time. Kalame exited the teleporter and looked out onto the millions of elite's working to get this new weapon the Prophet of Law called "The Key of Revival." "Why must Law try and follow in Truth's steps with the Ark and the Halo's." Kalame asked to no one. Or at least he thought. "He try's, for he is a visionist he wants control over everyone and thing he can find and then betray them just as Truth did 100 years ago. Law... is power hungry." "One is it you again?" Silence. "Why am I suppose to revive the Covenant, why am I suppose to lead the Covenant's armies on Earth, why must I kill Law and derank his honor guards, and why must I liv... Kalame's last complaint was cut short by the activation of the indoor teleporters and the sound of the alarm announcing humans have boarded the ship. Immedntly Kalame thought back to the figure in the shadows and bellowed out,"SPARTANS !"

The Chief along with Joesph, Craig, and Rob headed out onto a large balcony over looking the whole entire ground floor of the ship. "Five star ship we got here if the millions of elite's don't kill you the death drop will." joked Craig, but all the spartans knew that something was bothering the Chief. Only the Chief knew what was going on inside his head, and frankly he didn't want to talk about it. Before this mission would be over all of the spartans will know each others secrets about their lives, their parents, and what each of them were afraid of. "Let's move out were not very far from the COM system now." The spartans moved in through the balcony's side ledge that led straight to the COM and the Prophet's quarters. The ledge let out onto the ship's hull and into a weapons storage near the COM room. "Will come in, Rachel come in. Sir they're not responding. Their COM's aren't responding because of the interference from this ship's COM system." "That's okay, alright lock and load guys were going." "Craig your first we'll follow up after that." whispered Chief Cortez. The spartan team saw the purple interior that would annoy them to near death before the end of this mission. "The COM room is North West of us sooo, ah there it is, apperently the bridge is also in the room with the COM." " Alright, move, move, move
, Craig get to work on severing the link." "Okay, sir." "The mission so far has gone off without a hitch, but something tells me this room is about to turn into a living hell." thought the Chief. No sooner had Cortez thought that when a elite pilot walked into the room. The room got quiet. The elite lunged with all his might towards the alarm, Rob's sniper echoed through the ship as the round tore through the elite's body. All of a sudden the indoor lifts powered on and the most annoying high pitched alarm rang through out the ship. The chief looked to the left and saw the elite coughing out his purple blood, but he was grinning and had his arm on top of the alarm switch. The elite's last few words were, " The One is coming to cleanse this galaxy with all of his servant's." "Who, your prophet. By the time were done with him he'll be just dust in the wind." "You humans never have understood the Great Journey. The One can hear everything," and then the elite chuckled, but not before the Chief drowned him in his own blood. "Chief are you there." broke free Will and Rachel's voice over their COM. "You guy's fall back to the airlock." stated Joseph before the Chief could get to his COM. The Chief looked at the elite and then at his hands. Then the Chief quietly whispered, "Galame, you should've stayed at the docks."

"Is everyone's here right." "Yes, sir." "Sir, a elite squad is heading this way armed with energy swords." "Damn, alright get on board the ship and leave me. Joseph your in charge." "But, si..." "That's an order." "Yes, sir." sighed Joseph. The spartan team crawled into the airlock and on board their own ship, and then sealed the airlock door and left the Chief. Then the Chief told himself inside his head, "A small sacrifice, for Earth." Almost instantly the Chief yelled at the top of his lung's, "Which one of you S.O.B.'s want's it first!"

"Law we have captured a human should we kill him?" asked the Field Master. "No, bring this human to me...Alive."

Revival of the Covenant: Chapter 3
Date: 24 September 2005, 4:14 am

The engine's of the Advent came to a slow purr inside the dock of one of the largest cargo ships in Earth's fleet. The average human that came to Earth time to time would never know that the Martin Luther was actually a vessel that ONI used to watch Earth from a different view instead of on a star map or from satellite photos put on their computer monitors in their offices underground.Today a meeting was called by High Com to what to do about the New Covenant and whether or not they should let the Spartans pursue the Righteous Devastator. The real reason why ONI put the Martin Luther in space had vanished due to the death of all the ONI officers. Well almost all.

Admiral Hood wasn't really ever considered part of ONI as much as General Ackerson was. Admiral Hood was recognized as in Fleet Com more often than in ONI. Ackerson was the man behind the model of the Spartan III's, but instead of just using the advanced stimulants for the Spartan's he wanted to use something far greater. That's what killed the fool, a alien race know only as the Flood. The Flood could regenerate lost body parts such as arms and legs, which would make his Spartan models far greater than that of his rival's Dr.Halsey. Now Dr.Halsey was in league with ONI and also knew why the Martin Luther was placed in space, but when Ackerson was killed she was close to seventy years old. There were other members, but they met the same fate as Ackerson when the Flood invaded Earth. Admiral Hood was the only surviving member of ONI from 2552. General Hood is know 127 years old, and Admiral Hood would be at this meeting which would be his resting place at the end of it all.

"Order, there will be order in this Council." declared General Wyatt. Wyatt was a tall muscular man in his late thirty's and was head director of ONI. "Now that you've all decided shut up we can proceed with today's meeting. As you all already know our forces have been attacked by a alien race calling themselves the Covenant. We all know what happened to these aliens right?" posed General Wyatt.

"Yes." rung throughout the room. Except a small group of voices from the far end of the room. everyone in the room turned in awe to see the Spartans and General Hood.

"Sir." saluted General Wyatt and everyone in the room. Everyone except the Spartans seeing as how they saluted him when they picked him up. "Sir, I had no idea you were coming to this meeting." said Wyatt in awe.

"I had no intentions of coming here, but my ship broke down and the Spartans on the Advent gave me a ride to the nearest station which just so happened to be this one, Wyatt."

" You may have been the director of ONI during the First Covenant invasion, but you aren't going to be this time, old man."

" Last time I checked I was your superior officer not the other way around, I should have you court marshaled. Now tell me what happened to the this fraction of the Covenant." finished Admiral Hood.

"Yes, I think everyone should know what is going on." stated Joseph

The room grew a eerie silence that could only be followed up by some of the worst news of all time. "In 2552 the Covenant found an artifact that could bend the fabric of space and time on a planet in the outer rim called Reach, but before the Covenant could get their hands on the artifact Dr. Catherine Halsey ,and her squad of Spartan II's that assisted her, stole the artifact and brought it aboard a Covenant ship know as the Ascendent Justice which was later destroyed by Admiral Whitcomb in an attempt to delay the Covenant invasion and destroy the artifact they found. The Admiral delayed the Covenant armada, but failed to destroy the artifact which was later found by this faction of the Covenant, which brings us back to here." The room returned to an eerie silence for no more than two seconds before the room erupted with panic.

"Why is everyone panicking, the Martin Luther was designed to..." Admiral Hood's thoughts were interrupted by a sudden pain, right before he died along with the secret of the Martin Luther.

"I can't believe it, alive for 127 years never even had a heart attack before and he dies because of his first heart attack." said General Wyatt, who was hovering over Admiral Hood's dead body, surrounded by all those who were either head of ONI or Spartans. "Joseph, take your men and blow those Covenant bastards back to hell. Do you understand me."

"Sir, yes sir. We're moving right now, sir. Spartans listen up ONI has given us the green light to engage the Covenant..." Joseph was cut off abruptly by General Wyatt.

"Sorry, I forgot to mention that we want you to enter slipspace alongside them and figure out their destination first then you can kick their ass."

"Alright new orders, we are not given the green light to engage the Covenant until we've figured out their destination, then we can engage them. restated Joseph

"Alright, time to kick some split lip ass." boasted Craig

"Damn right it is." Will calmly replied. Well calmer than Craig.

Covenant Holy Warship: Righteous Devastator
Time Till Departure: 10 minutes and 47 seconds
Destination: Unknown

"Exalted one." broadly proclaimed Ruka

"Yes,Commander" replied Law

"My troops are cleaning up the last remaining corpses."

"Good, you are dismissed commander ... is there something else you wanted to say commander?"

Ruka was about to think,"Damn He's good." but remembered that Law can read minds. "Your, holiness we managed to capture one of the boarders, but it came at a great cost, over 35 soldiers are dead and around 6 others wounded."

"What how can that be, no mere human can produce so much devastation in such a little amount of time!" exclaimed Law

"These were not their regular pitiful human soldiers, these humans, according to intel they are known as SPARTAN III's."

"This news is disturbing, if these Spartans are seen anywhere on this ship lockdown that sector, then send in your best men to eliminate them at all costs. They can ruin the Great Journey in it's entirety, Show no mercy." blood thirstily stated Law.

The room maintained an eerie silence up until an elite major ran into the room and bowing as he stopped in front of Law and Ruka. "Your holinesses we will be able to exit towards our intended target through slipspace in 10 minutes."

"Thank you major, now help our techs with the slipspace drive." responded Ruka

The major ran out of the room saluting to Ruka and bowing to Law once more before he left.
"Exalted One if you do not mind me asking, I would like to know, where are we heading?"

SPARTAN MISSION CLOCK: 1900 Hours
LOCATION: Aboard the Advent
DESTINATION: To the Righteous Devasatator's destination

"All crew and weapon lockers accounted for, sir." said Rachel.

"Thank You, Rachel" replied Joseph

"Permission to speak freely, sir."

"Go ahead Rachel." Joseph knew she was trying to find the right words to say about these last few hours, but nothing she could say would make his pain go away, "Nothing will make my pain go away, nothing will until I'm taking orders from the Chief again." Joseph kept thinking to himself.

"Joseph... I'm sorry to say this but, you've got to bunk with Craig." Rachel couldn't hold it in any longer she burst out laughing.

"Who made this decision ?" asked Joseph

"Will."

"Will, I'm going to kill you!!! burst out Joseph

"Not if you can't find me." yelled Will from across the room. Will was laughing so hard that he didn't notice Joseph sneak up behind him and yell Boo!!!

"Oh, shit" said Will on the run.

The Spartans didn't know that they were about to stumble upon the biggest kept secret in the whole galaxy. Halo Installation 01, and also watch one of their team members perish in front of their very eyes. Yes, the Spartans will experience an unlimited amount of misery, until the countdown hits zero and everything changes. The Spartans don't know this, but this is the last laugh they'll hear for a very long time.

Revival of the Covenant Chapter 5: Delta Relay
Date: 15 November 2005, 11:55 pm

The delta relay station has kept Gamma Halo up and running for a untold amount of years. The relay station was also used as a arena for one of the Forerunner's favorite sports, Oddball. Oddball involves using a rock or skull, the objective is to keep the Oddball away from the other team for a certain amount of time to win the game. Injures were just part of the game, but the Forerunner's mightiest warriors were the only one's who were brave enough to play. Once the battle of the Halo rings began, some of the Forerunner's mightiest warriors were injured because of the sport. Which gave the Flood the upper hand on the forerunner during the battle for Halo's relay station's, which was before the Forerunner decided to activate Halo's primary weapon and destroy all life. The location of Delta relay and Gamma Halo were lost when the flood took Gamma Halo. Which was where the Covenant and Spartan's were heading.

COVENANT DROPSHIP
LOCATION: HALO'S ATMOSPHERE

DESTINATION: HALO'S SURFACE

The interior of the dropship was lit in a florescent purple lights, the Covenant's color of choice. Furrme, Kalame, and Rendet were all heading towards a signal that Law wanted them to check on. Furrme was almost about to kill Law when he disgraced his name, but he knew if he had lost his cool that could have blown his cover as a holy Covenant zealot. Rendet was worried, but determined to help Kalame in whatever way possible to get rid of Law. Then there was Kalame, lately Kalame had been working up a scheme to kill Law in the most sacred place on this ring only problem though was, he didn't know where that was. In due time he would find out. Ruka had to stay behind on the Righteous Devastator to keep working on some secret weapon they were going to use on Law's body after they had rid of him. The dropship was utterly quiet, no one had said anything and no was going to say anything or think for that matter seeing as how Law was in the cockpit. As they neared the signal the sky overhead darkened, outside they could hear the screeching sound of something but it left as they landed. The relay station had plant overgrowth all over the place and the holy mark of the Forerunner had disappeared or was hidden. "Come exalted one, the signal is this way." said one of Law's body guards.

"If this is a relay station why is there blood all over the place, is that even blood? asked Kalame.

"We should leave Law here to die, the Flood are nesting somewhere nearby. If they are starving they'll kill us." stated Furrme far away from Law.

"No we must get to the signal, it may be the one." Kalame replied

"If Kalame is right then this may be the resting place for Law." Rendet said as they walked on, but kept far behind Law. Law asked them what they were doing, so Rendet said they were wacthing their backs which satisfied Law, for the moment. The signal led them to the largest structure on the rock island which also happened to be the tallest.

"This must have been a place of great importance." said Furrme in ignoring the gargantuan tower.

"How do you know that?" asked Kalalme with surprise at Furrme's knowledge of the Forerunner.

"Everything they built that was important, always was big and tall." said Furrme with a joking grin.

HUMAN VESSEL:ADVENT
MISSION CLOCK: 0600

OBJECTIVE: LOCATE COVENANT AND RETRIEVE THE CHIEF

"What's that?" asked Craig who was late as usual to see things right in front of him. Andrea had already came up with an answer for everyone. Andrea hacked into ONI's and the UNSC's classified mission's, files, and objective's. She found what they were looking for in each tab.

"Spartan's, I have some information about the ringworld." Everyone in the room stopped talking and stared at Andrea. "ONI and the UNSC have information and pictures of this ringworld they call Halo. Halo is some sort of weapon that was found back in 2552 by SPARTAN 117- John, during the Covenant Human War."

"Wait, if Halo is a weapon then why didn't we use it in the war against the Covenant?" questioned Joseph

"I was getting to that. Wow, apparently Halo's primary weapon has the power the kill every living thing that can be consumed by something they call, The Flood. That means humans, Covenant, even a few plant's are listed here. Odd." said Andrea surprised

"What is it now." said Will still getting over the shock of everything dead except something called the Flood.

"There's tons of tabs about Halo, but nothing about the Flood. It's as if they never have existed. Wait. Found something about the Flood, a full sixteen page summary about them and what they can do to the human race, but...

"But what?" Rachel asked with concern in her voice.

"But it's locked, and only one person can open it." said Andrea

"Who's the person that's special enough to get their own locked folder about the Flood?" asked Craig irritated by the lack of details from Andrea.

"SPARTAN 117, and he died in the battle for the Ark back in 2552." stated Andrea with a look knowing she was going to get asked about the battle for the Ark.

GAMMA HALO
LOCATION: A RELAY STATION ON HALO'S SURFACE

DESTINATION: NONE

The signal turned out to be just the relay station's start up sequence waiting to be started. So Law started the sequence and the whole station came alive, a few of the clouds disappeared and the sun broke through the clouds that were remaining. For the first time since they had landed the howl of the flood could be heard throughout the station. It sounded like how someone would scream if every single bone in your body started to break one by one, slowly. The piercing sound of the Flood's screams made Law pass out for a few seconds until the Flood stopped their screaming and moved down the cliff into the darkness. As the honor guards helped Law back into his chair something caught Kalame's eye. A little green blob was making it's way over to the structure they were standing in. In the blink of an eye hundreds maybe millions of the little green blobs turned into a sea of green blobs. "Brothers ready your blades and weapon's the Flood are attacking." Kalame beckoned for them to come. All the elite's headed towards Kalame except Furrme. "Holy zealot are you coming?" asked Kalame

"I am." as soon as Furrme said those words he leaped of the balcony and into the battle. Kalame followed not far after Furrme and the fight for Delta Relay had started all over again. The fight was a quick one, but there was a causality. Rendet leaped behind Kalame and as he did he saved Kalame's life by losing his own. Kalame turned around and popped the flood blob that was latched onto Rendet's left arm.

"Rendet, can you hear me?" asked Kalame while still fighting of the Flood blobs that were in the area.

"My promise was to do anything to help you kill Law, so here you go." and with that Rendet fell silent. Overhead a phantom flew by and landed in the center dish. Kalame was still standing over Rendet's body when Ruka said, "Kalame if you give Rendet's body to me I can make him better than he was, please trust me."

"Here you go Ruka, and don't worry I do trust you." Kalame started to head to Ruka's dropship when a brittle hand brushed against his shoulder making Kalame fear that the Flood were attacking, but he turned and saw that it was Law.

"Yes exalted one." praised Kalame

"Come with me back to the ship it's time for you to prepare for your return to Earth and begin the war against the humans. Plus I have a blessing for your armada, a very big blessing." as Law led Kalame to the dropship, Kalame pulled out a tracer and stuck it to the dropship. When Law brought him inside no one noticed the tracer he put on the dropship. Obviously there were heading to the holiest place on Halo.

LOCATION: THE RINGWORLD HALO
MISSION CLOCK: 0900

OBJECTIVE: WATCH COVENANT MOVEMENT AND COM LINKS FOR THE
LOCATION OF THE CHIEF

The entire structure below them was teeming with elite's working on getting some kind of giant dish. The Spartans learned that they arrived around 5 hours after the Covenant did, but their warship was still outside Halo's atmosphere. The Spartans didn't waste any time and headed towards the location where the warship was hovering over Halo, and they ended up exactly where the Covenant did.
Delta Relay station. Rob was on the very top of one the main structure's buildings scoping out everything that looked like it could be gaurded and closed in enough to hold a Spartan. "Nothing" was the first words that anyone had spoken since they had arrived. Rachel was the next one to speak. "All the COM links that are from the high ranked elite's are out of range." Everyone sat there in shame of their stake out skills. Below they could hear two elite's having a conversation on their COM units.

"Hey, did you hear about that meating their having in the large tower?." asked the first elite.

"No, what are they going to converse about?" replied the second elite.

"Don't know, it's restricted to high ranking elite officers only. But a my brother who is gaurding the entrance said they're going to talk about a human prisoner that killed tons of our brothers in combat."

"Wow. Better get back to work, Lannde is coming around.

The Spartans stood there in amazement. "How could we hear that COM link it was out of range a minute ago?" wondered Rachel.

"Look here, the COM frequency must have been tuned up on a high enough range that the frequency bounced off of the little dish and caught an elite's COM." stated Joseph.

"Look the meeting is about to start." said Will quickly. The Spartan's turned towards the elites on the top balcony and listened.

"Alright lets get this done quick, most of you have been asking where's the human prisoner at or did he escape. No, he has been transfered over to Law in the caves." said the elite in the shimiring gold armor.

"Good Ruka, but what about Rendet and Furrme. We have no Spec Ops rebel Commander now."
said a elite in odd looking green armor.

"We have already talked about this, Furrme will resume his role of Spec Ops Commander when Law is dead." said the elite known as Ruka.

"So the meeting is over?" asked the elite in the green armor.

"Yes. I'm heading over to the caves to pick up Kalame, he might have killed Law. Hopefully he did." said Ruka as he walked down the ramp, and into the gravity lift that took him into the phantom. Then he speed off to the caves to learn of Law's fate.

"Rob take out that tracer attachment you've got for your sniper rifle and hit the phantom quick. Rachel tell Craig to bring in the Advent. Will get Rob's other sniper and shoot the green elite in the head after the phantom is out of range. Go do it now." almost yelled Joseph

Rob hit the target without missing a beat, Rachel got Craig and could see the Advent speeding towards them, and Will hit his target just when the purr of the Advent's could be heard, masking the sound of the 50. Caliber bullet coming out of the barrel and catching the royal ambassador right between the eyes, then coming out of the back of his head along with the purple blood of the elite's. "Well I'm not sure what position he's in with the Covenant, but I'm glad I'm not him right now." said Will hoping on board. The Advent folowed Ruka's phantom in a race against time. Time that was almost out for Cheif Cortez.
