"Woohoo! Got one!" Marine Private 1st Class Josh Breyer was a sniper. And a pretty good one at that, or so he thought. He and seven other sniper/spotter squads were stationed in Atlanta to stop the Covies. Those Grunts and Jackals don't know what's hitting them, thought the Private. Just then an Elite yelled and pointed at the building where his friend, Jack was in. He had to stop that Elite. He looked through the scope lined it up with the Elite's neck, and squeezed off two shots in quick succession. The first one grazed the alien's shoulder and he turned around then the second one hit it square in the neck. He gurgled spitting up bright blue blood. "Hunters coming in from the east!" The Corporal yelled over the radio.

Banio- Adan- Zamine was talking to his commander, an Elite, along with his bond brother Hanku- Adan- Yulla about tactics, 70 yards away from Josh. "Got you know you maggots," Josh whispered to himself. He was aiming for the grenades on the Elite's belt standing next to the pair of Hunters. He got them in his sights, and fired three shots each at one grenade. Three deadly bullets came flying at the grenades and found their mark. It blew the Elite sky high and killed both Hunters and a whole company of Grunts. "Score fifty for the good guys baby!" Shouted Josh. Banio- Adan- Zamine was as close to dead as you could be. He actually wanted to die. He lost everything in his life in one bloody explosion. His bond brother was dead. His commander and his will to live. But before he left he was going to go out with a huge plasma explosion. He saw a bullet come flying out of a broken window. He readied his fuel rod gun and *BANG* that part of the building exploded. He was rewarded with a scream of pain and a falling body. Banio chuckled, That's only the start of the pain for those humans. They killed my brother! They must DIE! Two warthogs came flying around the corner, and their gunners opened fire on Banio. He waited until they were close; then blew them to smithereens. He was hit by a flying head. The smell of blood permeated the air. Humans like to sniff crack; Hunters do the same with blood. He then set about to crushing any survivors with his boot. Banio threw his head back and laughed, at the exact time Josh shot at his neck. I'm going to live with my brother, he thought. July 8, 2553 Marietta Georgia 1400 hours. Debriefing Room
"You guys really kicked some butt yesterday. Thanks to you the Covies didn't take Peachtree. You guys should feel really proud about that. For all of you pansies who are happy that you don't have to fight and that you get rest; I hope you enjoyed your good night's sleep. That's all you'll be getting for a while. We're moving out to Washington. Did I mention we don't have Pelicans?" Then started the long trek to the capital, with everyone fighting for the few Warthogs and Scorpions the company had. They made the long trek to D.C. and immediately got a "warm" welcome by a general. "I heard about you guys... you gave those Covie bastards hell. But the Covenant is almost at D.C. It's up to you to hold 'em off. Goodnight." Sure enough at 700 hours, Josh was out in a broken skyscraper looking for targets of interest. He waved to his friend, Jack, in the building opposite him. Jack was his best friend, and were both the best snipers in their company. "Lookie here... some Elites standing still, lets wake 'em up," muttered Jack. Josh fired two shots, killing both his targets. But Jack stuck his head out yelled "Take this ya pieces of crap!" And then fired. By Jack yelling, he had warned them and they dodged the bullets with ease. The surviving Elites pointed toward a Hunter pair, and then the building. One Elite then made a cutting motion across his neck. They were going for Jack.
