CE3 2015 Live - just 4 months away

Homefront - out now
Better late than never! We got word from Alex Bayer that Homefront, a mod for Homeworld 2 that we first mentioned back in August 2008, and more recently at the end of 2011, finally released their project this past December! Halo 2 Anniversary Cinematic Launch Trailer
343i released a Halo launch trailer that shows off a good chunk of H2A Blur cinematics, including the 'Another Day at the Beach' cinematic - it looks pretty great! The Elite Eight
The newest Halo Bulletin, published last night, discusses the MCC Launch Invitational (a pro tournament taking place in LA just before launch), reminds you to watch the Nightfall trailer (and lets you do so right from the page), previews Halo: Escalation #11, continues the new tradition of Canon Fodder, whereby Grim tells us all about the Halo storyline, and shows off screenshots of Exile. A new look at a classic
Marty O'Donnell posted a copy of the original 1999 MacWorld New York Halo trailer last night - and beyond the powerful nostalgia of this iconic video, this is worth watching because you haven't really seen it before. It's a slightly different cut than the official Apple/Bungie trailer we've all pored over - there are different edits, and a couple of additional clips that weren't in the released version. Over at Rampancy.net, Narcogen has posted a side-by-side comparison of the two videos, making it easier to pick out some of these differences - upon watching both, it's clear that the released version is more polished, but it's wonderful to see this early cut! The details are in the armor...
...or is it armour? Anyway, MoaHerder from HaloArchives posted an analysis of the Halo 5 beta trailer that points out some interesting things that I completely missed, doh! The most interesting part of the analysis is that MoaHerder highlights that Nihilus Shadow found that one Spartan models has 104 written in braille on the chest plate. It might just be a fun little easter egg, or it might have bigger implications in terms of who we can expect to see in Halo 5. Thanks to zofinda for pointing this out - go read! Halo 5 Guardians Beta Trailer
343i released a Halo 5 beta trailer that shows what players can expect to get their hands on in the beta. The beta trailer gives you a first look at some of the maps, weapons, and Spartans models that will be available come December 29th. The Halo Channel
During the Xbox Briefing at Gamescom, 343i announced that they would be bringing the Halo Channel to Xbox One. The Halo Channel acts as a centralized hub for all your Halo content, and allows you to access live game broadcasts, community content, manage your Halo career, and more. MacGyver10 pointed out that the trailer for the Halo Channel provides some more info on Agent Locke's character and shows a possible new skull included in the Master Chief Collection - interesting. CMT SPv3 Release Date Trailer and Analysis
Masterz1337 let us know that CMT has released a trailer that announces the release dates for SPv3, the newest version of their Halo 1 re-imagining. Lots of new goodies - there's an analysis with Hokiebird428 and Masterz listing most of the new stuff. Very cool!
