Star Wars vs Halo
Mid7night found a fan-made space-based RTS called 'Star Wars vs Halo' - you can see a trailer (story-based, no gameplay) here, an announcement trailer showing promo gameplay here, and a gameplay demo made by the Funny Halo Productions crew here. Prophecy Trailer (Round 2)
Avcracy stopped in to let us know that the Dispatch series called 'Prophecy' (videos were released from 2006-2009, and are currently available on DispatchFilms' YouTube channel) is being remade by Firelight Studios and DispatchFilms - the first trailer is up now. Check it out!

Halo: Legacy
Paul Shelley let us know that the Halo Legacy project is off an running - in fact, since we last mentioned it, in early May, two full series have been released. The idea behind this project is to use multiple directors to create "create serious halo story based machinima content along the lines of the animated Halo: Legends series." (Paul's words.) Halo: Legacy Angerona has a Trailer, plus a three-part main body (Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3). Likewise, Halo: Legacy Quinn has a Trailer, plus three parts (Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3). Go watch! Crimson Alliance: Gnox the Mercenary
Just got sent a new trailer for Crimson Alliance. This is a dungeon-based hack-n-slash that's about as far from Halo as you can get... but it's being made by Certain Affinity (who came from Bungie in the first place, and still generate Halo material), and more importantly, it's FUN. This trailer is all about Gnox the Mercenary - and it makes me want this game more than ever! Go watch it (non-HD, for ease of streaming), or download HD 720p versions in QT or WMP9. Halo Warfare 3

Choice is good.
Ken Levine talked about Bioshock Infinite with Geoff Keighley at E3 this year, and at one point, he mentioned that a particular encounter was inspired by the Halo Warthog. Well... by Bungie's decision to PROVIDE you with a Warthog - but let you choose whether you wanted to use it or not. So really, it was inspired by Halo's open environment, more than the 'hog itself. Interesting interview! (The Halo bit begins at 10:17, if you aren't interested in Bioshock: Infinite - which you absolutely should be.) Thanks to NeoGAF's Dax01 for noticing this! The latest Halo Bulletin was posted at Halo: Waypoint (and is, as always, in our Halo Bulletin Archive, as well) - swing by and read bs angel's ideas for the upcoming Title Update, a summary of some of the cool panels you can attend if you have a ticket to Halo Fest at PAX next month, and a fun re-creation of the Halo 4 trailer... in Reach. They're... gargantuan.
Marcelo Vega sent word that he's got a bnch of new tracks for you to try - but they're more than racetracks. They're adventures. Check out Gartantuan Valley, Garganuan Mines, and the latest version of The Gargantuan. (He's got a trailer so you can see how Gargantuan Mines plays.) Update: There are vids for Gartantuan Valley and Gargantuan, as well.

A shift in... something
ChrisTheeCrappy pointed out a nearly information-free post at IGN - the one bit it DOES have is a comment from Frank that there's a reason for the changes in Master Chief's behaviors in the Halo 4 trailer. (I'm not sure what that actually means - but IGN has interpreted it to mean that his personality has changed. Umm...)

Bungie.net Insanity - a Road Map
So Grim pointed out the beginning of the B.net festivities... but they're coming so fast and furious that without a roadmap, you might get lost.
- He's already linked to the Rooster-Teeth-created trailer explaining how anyone with a Bungie.net profile can unlock blue flames for their in-game armor - but if you didn't watch it, you should.
- You've been able to unlock those flames for almost a week, if you have an iOS device... but now you can do it right from the Bungie.net front page.
- The Bungie Store has been restocked in honor of the celebration - there are limited-run (VERY limited-run) prints of some really cool artwork and shirts, but the big draw will be the Bag O' Swag. The first batch of 500 is already sold out - but there may be more coming. The contents will vary from bag to bag (and you won't know what's in ANY of them unless you or a friend buys one). They run $30... but what's inside might be worth much, much more. Keep an eye on the page to make sure you don't miss another chance!
- The Bungie vs the World Steaktacular has been written up - swing by to see how you can get a chance to have Bungie mail you steak. Real steak.
- Some super-cool auctions are running on eBay right now - all proceeds will go to Child's Play, and you'll end up with some amazing concept art, framed and placarded. So far there are 12 items up - some have bids, some don't, all end in a week. Check out the artwork - Master Chief Helmet, Covenant Bus, Jackals, Covenant Shadow, Space Elevator, Pillar of Autumn, Quarantine Zone, In Amber Clad, Pillar of Autumn, and an original Penny Arcade "Jim Bean" comic strip. Also, check out the holdable goodies: an original Weta UNSC Battle Rifle and some Weta Upper-Body armor (I can't find a link for this yet). Amazing collection of stuff!

Bungie All Stars - one man's quest

No, I'm not being paid for this.
It's been a week since E3, and though it's not directly Halo-related, I wanted to put in one more plug for Crimson Alliance. (It was made by Certain Affinity, a studio headed up by ex-Bungie employee Max Hoberman, and responsible for the 7 netmaps included with the recently-announced Halo: Anniversary edition.) It really was one of the highlights of the show for me; a really fun title that should be available later this summer.
