A Wild Warlord Appears
IGN has information (and a gameplay video, and a walkthrough) about Warlord, the 6th and final Halo 2 Anniversary remake in the Master Chief collection. Looks fantastic, though it's closer to Halo 2's Warlock than it is to Halo's Wizard. Thanks, Moorpheusl9. (Louis Wu 20:57:06 UTC)

The complexities of Halo 5's story
The Xbox One Magazine (from the UK) had an interview with Mike Colter, the actor behind Agent Locke in the upcoming Nightfall - a redditor clipped a question or two in which Colter states that his character is the primary one in Halo 5. And that it's playable. (We've had other confirmation that the Master Chief will be playable, as well, so it's not an either-or thing.) Join Moorpheusl9's thread if you have a comment!

It's fall in Halo-land
This week's Halo Bulletin contains some nice tidbits: there's a Twitter giveaway, some great story background from (what used to be our own) GrimBrother One, a small FAQ focused on the copy of Halo CE that will appear in the Master Chief Collection next month, and some cool Autumn-themed screenshots. Master Chief: The Story You Never Knew
So... Treesicle published 'Master Chief: The Story You Never Knew' back in May - but the first I heard about it was today, when ChrisTheeCrappy mentioned it on our forum. It's an analysis of the Halo storyline... with special care shown to our friendly neighborhood green-clad Spartan. It jumps from jokes to serious thought with abandon - but it's pretty solid thinking (except for maybe the lumberjack stuff). Go watch!

Ice Ice Baby
Yes, we're crazy-behind on news. Sorry. The big thing this weekend seems to be ALS Ice Bucket Challenges - there was the 343 group that underwent a dousing in the Halo Bulletin this week, and then there was Jen Taylor and Steve Downes as Master Chief and Cortana (awesome), and Marty O'Donnell doing his best to stay on key with the Monk Chant while being slowly soaked with very, very cold water. There were many, many more - but we're going to stop there, because the day's not over yet and there's still quite a bit left to get done! We'll be back on track soon... promise.

The Halo Channel
During the Xbox Briefing at Gamescom, 343i announced that they would be bringing the Halo Channel to Xbox One. The Halo Channel acts as a centralized hub for all your Halo content, and allows you to access live game broadcasts, community content, manage your Halo career, and more. MacGyver10 pointed out that the trailer for the Halo Channel provides some more info on Agent Locke's character and shows a possible new skull included in the Master Chief Collection - interesting. The Old, The New, and the Remade
Last week, 343 released new pictures of Zanzibar, one of the Halo 2 maps getting a complete makeover for the Master Chief Collection. (All of the maps in Halo 2 are getting made over for Anniversary - but 6 of them have been 'reimagined' by Certain Affinity, and Zanzibar is one of these.) John Brent grabbed screenshots from Halo 2 (and even Halo 3's remake of this map, Last Resort) that matched the positioning of the new screens for the H2A Zanzibar, and sent them along to us for easy comparison.
