Hunt the Truth Revealed
Yesterday afternoon the Hunt The Truth countdown page revealed its secrets. The tear site introduces fictional war journalist, Benjamin Giraud who is tasked with doing a profile on the origins of the Master Chief. Episode one of this series is now available on Soundcloud. First Look at ODST & Relic for The Master Chief Collection
343's Dan Ayoub provided a little update regarding the state of TMCC. It looks like the latest patch improved matchmaking, but you can expect another patch in April. We also get our first look at the remastered Halo 3: ODST campaign and a few shots of Relic for H2A. Thanks, Gravemind.

Xbox One MCC Bundle Announced
Major Nelson announced that Microsoft will be releasing an Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle this month for $349. The console itself is a standard black Xbox One, but you do get some nice Halo packaging as well as the digital version of MCC. Neat! (colindosaj 22:41:37 UTC)

Chief Motorcycle Helmet Coming in July
According to the NECA website, The Master Chief DOT-approved motorcycle helmet is slated for release this July. NECA also stated that the helmet would cost "around $500". I just hope that the final version doesn't fit like this. (colindosaj 20:40:10 UTC)

Starting today, Xbox will be discounting various digital titles through February 24th. Halo 4 is currently 60% off for Gold members and 50% off for Silver members. According to this promotional shot, The Master Chief Collection will see a 60% discount during the weekend. The Master Chief Collection joins the Cutscene Library
Cody Miller jumped on the heavy-duty job of filming the cutscenes/terminals from The Master Chief Collection pretty early on... but life's been so busy here that we're JUST NOW beginning to get some of that content out there. First up - the CGI cutscenes Blur created for Halo 2 Anniversary. These are pretty amazing, and we're making them available in 360p, 720p, and 1080p, with full surround sound. Go grab 'em! In thanks for your continued patience
This should have been posted a couple of days ago - and for the delay, I apologize. Bonnie Ross has written a thank-you to Halo fans over on the Xbox Wire - and if you've purchased the Master Chief Collection, it would behoove you to read it. In it, she apologizes for the problems the release has had, she looks forward to what else is being fixed soon, and she offers an olive branch to outraged consumers: a free month of Live, a free avatar, and a free nameplate will be available to anyone who played the MCC between launch and December 19. Oh, and a couple of biggies: The Halo 3: ODST campaign... and the Halo 2 multiplayer map Relic, reimagined for Halo 2: Anniversary. There are more details on the offer on Halo Waypoint. Drinking Games Ep 5 - Screen Watchers
Once upon a time, we let you know about a group called TeamSexy (most of the posts were in 2003 and 2004, though there've been a few references to SexyJosh in the following five years) - they liked Halo, a lot. Recently, they've been hosting a series called Drinking Games, and in honor of the release of The Master Chief Collection, they devoted an episode to Halo. I found it pretty entertaining.
