This would have been my favorite thing ever.
Real life is totally in the way right now, but there were a few gems on our forum worth sharing. Let's get started with Gamecheat13, who found a way to enable Moah-riding in Halo Reach - this was built in for a Joust-like minigame which was cut before release. Wonderful! Thanks, gamerguy2002. On the other side of the invisible barrier
General Vagueness stopped by with a new project - 'Breaking out of Halo 4'. He's got fileshare downloads available of all the Multiplayer maps (from the 360 version, not the MCC version of Halo 4) that you can grab and play around with. (There are a few screenshots to show you what you're in for - pretty slick!) Go play.

How big is that thing, anyway?
Stephen Loftus was messing around with 3ds Max and decided to put the interior portions of the Forward Unto Dawn (the game spaces we play in at the start of Halo 4) into a model of the ship, to see how big it actually needed to be to fit what we saw in-game. The last written Bulletin
The latest Halo Bulletin went live last night on Waypoint - it's really worth reading. There's a breakdown of the Skulls available in the package (and how they affect scoring and Achievements), there's a description of the LASO playlists, and there's a summary of the ranking system in the Collection. Additionally, there a recap of the upcoming Halo Championship Series, a new installment of Canon Fodder (we love you, Grim!), and a note about how the Bulletin, in its current form, is disappearing. (It's moving to the Halo Channel, starting next week, and will be in video format from there on out.) Halo Championship Series
Earlier today, Bravo announced the 'Halo Championship Series', which is 343i's plan to help get Halo back into the competitive and eSports scene. 343i is teaming up with ESL and Twitch to help host online and LAN tournaments that run under a unified placing system. Old egg, new yolk

Remaking the Legend - Watch Now!
As mentioned in the Bulletin, 'Remaking the Legend - Halo 2: Anniversary' is live now. You can watch it on Xbox Video on your Xbox One or 360 (search for 'Halo', or just click on the tile on the main screen), or on the web (thanks, Grizzlei and laird). It's a fantastic look at both the cultural phenomenon that was Halo 2, and the labor of love that updated this title for today's audience. Don't miss this. (It's free, so there's no excuse.) Getting closer and closer to MCC

Armor Unlocks for Halo 5 - in MCC
IGN has the lowdown on some Halo 5: Guardians armor that will unlock in the Beta with gameplay from the Master Chief Collection. The Elite Eight
The newest Halo Bulletin, published last night, discusses the MCC Launch Invitational (a pro tournament taking place in LA just before launch), reminds you to watch the Nightfall trailer (and lets you do so right from the page), previews Halo: Escalation #11, continues the new tradition of Canon Fodder, whereby Grim tells us all about the Halo storyline, and shows off screenshots of Exile. A pun, on the forum? Oh, yeah, Grim's back.
GrimBrother One returned to our forum to announce the latest Halo Bulletin - good to see him around! It contains info about next week's reboot of Halo Waypoint, pics of the upcoming Halo-themed ASTRO A50s, details about the Halo-related content available at New York Comic-Con this week, and the continuation of his very own series - "Canon Fodder". This in-depth look at events in the Halo universe is a fantastic resource, both for newcomers to the extended universe and for folks already immersed - there's so much out there it's easy to forget details. (We're also making one small deviation from the original Bulletin in our local version, for the first time: it seems that the screenshots are no longer presented in both full and thumbnail versions in the Bulletin, you have to follow the Fileshare link and download if you want the big version now. Of Chiefs and Brides

Halo 5 Guardians Beta Trailer
343i released a Halo 5 beta trailer that shows what players can expect to get their hands on in the beta. The beta trailer gives you a first look at some of the maps, weapons, and Spartans models that will be available come December 29th. Waypoint posted some screenshots of the maps and kapowaz took screenshots of the weapons and Spartans shown in the trailer. Exciting! (colindosaj 19:34:16 UTC)
