Shoulder Mount Theory: SensorsDate: Tue, 11 Apr 2000 15:05:13 -1000 From: Rea Studios <Jbrea@aloha.net> X-Accept-Language: en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: halo@bungie.org Subject: yet another shouldermount theory!! You sure this theories page isn't a forum? =) my angle on the shoulder-mounted unit on the marines is that it's a sort of image-enhancing device; built in binoculars, targeting "sensors," perhaps night/infrared vision enhancers, all kinds of nifty stuff. notice in different screenshots this thing is in different positions. images with a marine holding the chaingun have this little appendage swung back, protruding outwards from the marine. when he's holding a sniper rifle, it is up and facing forwards.
