Socket To 'Em.
Periodically, Frankie mentions the Lightmap farm used for renders during development - today's One One Se7en shows Stuntmutt's take on the whole thing. (Louis Wu 13:58:12 UTC)

Stuntmutt proves that metaphors are lost on the literal in today's One One Se7en. (Louis Wu 09:30:10 UTC)

Copy/Paste, Copy/Paste...
Wow, must be a day for exceptions. Back in March, we closed down the Guest Submissions section of One One Se7en - Stuntmutt himself created Guest Strip 100, and we said 'no more'. Today, however, we've received a strip from Gruntsbane, the artist behind Halo Babies, and his Guest One One Se7en, a tribute to yesterday's 200th strip, was too much fun to leave alone - so I'm reopening the Guest Section for this one last entry. Enjoy! (Louis Wu 12:54:25 UTC)

Always Outnumbered. Never Outpunned.
Wow. 200 strips. And that doesn't count Sundays, or Holidays, or Guest strips, or Archived strips. There are a lot of things you can say about Stuntmutt, but fly-by-night isn't one of them. Today's One One Se7en has got to be one of the worst puns EVER. Update: That BOLL just COULDN'T leave well enough alone, could he? (Louis Wu 10:07:44 UTC)

Spec Ops - The Tru7h.
Stuntmutt shows where the new Halo 2 Elite troops come from in today's One One Se7en. Personally, I'm starting to wonder about that boy - where DOES he get his inside info? (Louis Wu 13:44:19 UTC)

Putting the 'Oo' In Zoom.
In classic Stuntmutt fashion, today's One One Se7en looks at an unintended consequence of a new Halo 2 feature. (No, it's not bee-related.) If it makes no sense to you... use that mouse button. (Louis Wu 09:21:45 UTC)

A Hum Dinger
The whole ilovebees thing went a little nuts yesterday; folks reading all sorts of stuff into whatever they could find. (The main thread on OUR forum has over 350 responses at the moment, with dozens of smaller threads around it. Other forums are just as bad.) Stuntmutt broke from tradition to put out a special Saturday One One Se7en with some thoughts on the subject. (I'm certainly not 'in the know' about all this stuff... but I have to say, it doesn't feel like a Bungie-driven puzzle. My best guess, at this point, is that this is a Microsoft marketing campaign, selling SOMETHING, but not necessarily Halo 2 specifically. One good suggestion has been something related to Xbox Live. We'll find out soon enough, I suppose... but I really am a little nervous that if it turns out that Bungie is not involved (again - I'm not in the know; they MIGHT BE), folks who already felt burned by the Enkidu puzzle will lash out. Just something to keep in mind, as you feverishly look for sevens in the ilovebees.com source code...) (Louis Wu 15:07:34 UTC)

Movies... or Comics?
Maybe it's not Movie Day at HBO, maybe it's Comic Day. We've got a bunch to tell you about. Mr Smiley mentions a new webcomic, The Grunt Brigade, that he found a few days ago - but it's now on a bigger pipe, so you might actually be able to see the strips this time. Then, this morning, he pointed out that Halo Babies Episode 49 is online - I've needed something like this several times during T&R. Right here at home, we've got Miniature Halo Episode 23 - in which Sarge goes a little wild with an FRG. The latest One One Se7en tells it like it is, with respect to the Bungie Weekly Updates (let's see how Frankie does this evening!). And Halo: Resolution, which has been ramping up to this episode all week, bows out. It's been a good run - 129 episodes, spaced over 10 months - but Fuzzy and DIMagic have decided to call it quits. Give this one a read, and say goodbye. (Louis Wu 09:44:16 UTC)

On Sunday, Stuntmutt submitted a pretty funny One One Se7en for c0ld vengeance; today, he's made good on the promise of that strip. Whatever else you might say about him... he follows through. (Louis Wu 11:27:44 UTC)

c0ld Comfort
c0ld vengeance has apparently made his opinion about the 2-day European delay for Halo 2 known... and today's One One Se7en addresses his concerns. Sort of. (Louis Wu 10:38:42 UTC)

It only SEEMS like they've all been like this.
Over the years, we've reported a lot of Halo news. There are, in fact, as of this post, exactly 10,000 news posts in the database. It's therefore somewhat appropriate that this post is devoted to a pair of comics that have been a staple of the site for the last couple of years - Halo: Resolution and One One Se7en. (Some folks have complained that it seems like ALL we post is strips for these comics... but it just ain't so.) Where Did That Radio Come From? and Sarge's New Men are both great examples of why these strips have been around for so long... and I'd like to take this chance to thank all the readers who've made posting those 10,000 items (and a bunch of other stuff, besides) all worthwhile. 10,000 more? We'll see. :) (Louis Wu 15:36:13 UTC)

The Problem With A Space Elevator Is...
One One Se7en looks at one of the real downsides of a space elevator (a construct designed to move materials from a planet surface into space, mechanically - there has been speculation that one of these will exist in Halo). I'd recommend making sure your speakers are on... and that you're using a browser OTHER than Firefox/WinXP. (Louis Wu 13:41:15 UTC)

One Entry That Won't Be Winning GNF...
Today's One One Se7en looks at our Going Nowhere Fast competition, and how Stuntmutt's run stacked up. (In truth, he's in third place, and had some pretty l337 moves near the start... as far as I can tell, he's still in the running for the grand prize.) That said, visual manipulation of photos of me automatically disqualify you from any meaningful compensation, so he's probably right. (Louis Wu 13:04:07 UTC)
