MisterMonopoli goes gold MisterMonopoli has been busy with co-op on the original Xbox lately (no mods involved). After various short teaser videos in which one player has somehow become something other than a cyborg, he now has a tutorial for becoming a gold Elite, so you can run about shouting "Wort wort wort" and swishing a plasma sword around. I mean, if that's what you really want. The detailed workings of this digital sorcery will hopefully be elucidated later, but meanwhile here's the tutorial (you'll also want to read the description for guidance):
Rockslider's Wandering Banshees Get an Extended Look and Some Plasma Grenades Thrown Their Way Rockslider has been bust the last week with those crazy banshees, check out some fun he had throwing plasma grenades at the flying Covenant vehicles, and another video of his Banshee safari with some new behaviors from the purple planes. (MacGyver10 18:57:41 UTC)
Rockslider Shows Off a Cool, New Halo Combat Evolved Glitch in Merging Covenant Bodies Rockslider put together a new video in our forum showing how to merge the bodies of dead Covenant and marines in Halo CE's campaign. It really makes for some neat moments in separating the models with plasma grenades and rocket blasts! Not sure if anyone has really shown this off before either, as it seems to be a cool, new glitch for this 17 year old game! (MacGyver10 15:35:53 UTC)
Rockslider Sends 'Goldie' Up in Fireworks and Rhythmic Cascades on Halo CE's Silent Cartographer Rockslider took a technique of combining plasma grenades and needler rounds to create some pretty cool explosions in his latest video. Check it out in our forum for your video preference, and a neat 'rhythmic montage' at the end you might get a kick out of! (MacGyver10 15:06:22 UTC)
Rockslider Searches for Elusive 'Yeti Flood' Rockslider goes up against the flood in the beginning of 343 Guilty Spark, not content to just watch them set off the motion tracker. There's some nice spawn control shown, but when he starts tagging the flood with plasma grenades, things get impressive! (MacGyver10 14:16:25 UTC)
Rockslider Plays 'Plasma Tennis' with Rockets on AoTCR While hanging out above the entry chamber in AoTCR, Rockslider invented a potentially dangerous sport of 'plasma tennis'. Go see how rocket launchers are involved by watching his video in our forum! (MacGyver10 18:35:51 UTC)

Weapon Merging in Halo 5's Forge Creates the Scarab Gun and More An interesting side effect of REQ weapons in Halo 5's Forge, it looks like after editing some weapon traits via a weapon pad, you can create splasers that fire rockets and brute plasma rifles that fire fuel rod ammo among other things. Check out General Vagueness' post in our forum to see the tutorial and some interesting turret action! (MacGyver10 14:47:29 UTC)
Rockslider's Halo: CE Freakiness and Fun #14 Rockslider has put together another compilation of Halo: CE Freakiness and Fun. Check out his post for spooky plasma grenades, wall-running elites and tree-hugging marines! (MacGyver10 15:53:07 UTC)

DrBizz Launches Back Up FROM THE BOTTOM of Cairo Station Earlier this year we let you know how DrBizz finally made it below the bottom of the Cairo Station elevator, well he's back with a cool trick that follows that up thanks to the MCC on Xbox One! Check out what he had to say about this new gameplay magic:
'So, on Cairo we were never able to launch all the way from the bottom back up to the station because it was simply too far. But with the new skull (Feather) that drastically increases the distance you can launch I have been able to do it. And, it's an especially cool setup being able to get a launch checkpoint down there in single player by beating down an invincible Miranda Keyes and creating a ton of plasma grenades (with Pinata Skull).'(MacGyver10 15:23:15 UTC)
DidYouKnowGaming Pits The Science of Halo Against the Real World (Not Those Reality Folks from MTV Though) Gamerguy2002 pointed out a neat video that discusses the practicality and current, real world applications for much of the science behind the Halo games. For instance, did you know we currently have the capability of shooting plasma? Go check it out on the DidYouKnowGaming YouTube channel! (MacGyver10 19:59:00 UTC)

They're back now with some Halo 5 love, so go see how you can create plasma grenade traps and how you can ground pound the 'posing spartans' at the end of a match! (Thanks AfroRyan!) (MacGyver10 22:00:51 UTC)
Old Weapons in Halo 4 Speaking of cut content, looks like a few weapons from Reach made their way into Halo 4. Gamecheat13 found both the Plasma Launcher and Focus Rifle laying around in Halo 4 code. Once again, gamerguy2002 summed up the finds in our forum. (MacGyver10 16:01:37 UTC)

Rockslider's Ghost Stunting Extravaganza When you combine the Master Chief with a ghose and three wraiths, normally you'd have a recipe for some quick plasma bombardment or splattered Chief. Plasma Rifle Replicas by Project Trifroce Project Triforce listed H2A full scale plasma rifle replicas for pre-order. These seem to be officially endorsed by 343i and they do look quite nice. There are two versions, a blue one that runs $150 and a red one that costs $162.50. Thanks, Mid7Night. Edit: A few people pointed out that the replicas actually cost $600. The intial deposit costs $150.

Spinning plasma pistol A few days ago, Rockslider released a video showing off a plasma pistol... which reacted oddly to stimulus. We weren't able to put up mirrors for it, but you can swing by his post for links to YouTube and self-hosted versions. (Louis Wu 21:38:50 UTC)
Flood Infection - 'Banger' Lord Zedd was digging through Halo 3's code and discovered a suspicious creature tag on the level 'Cortana' - the tag reads 'flood_infection_banger'. The actual model doesn't exist, but Lord Zedd did some investigating and believes that the 'Banger' looks similar to the original infection, but that the infection form doesn't just pop, it explodes like a plasma grenade. It's amazing that people still continue to find stuff like this. Go check out the video! Thanks, gamerguy2002. (colindosaj 22:48:10 UTC)
Blue-hot and deadly Rockslider has revisited his Megabattle setup yet again - this time he's sticking to plasma weapons. Go see how it turns out!
