The Halo Mole - Preparing for Liftoff

demoncarnataur stopped in with a link to a NeoGAF thread that's looking at a game recently rated by the Korean Game Rating Board. The name is 'Bootcamp', and the description is pretty intriguing:
"A TPS game based on 'Halo' universe where player complete various types of missions."
It is slated for PC/online release... no date given. Will this appear in the US as well? Only time will tell. Update: Gamefront reached out to Microsoft and received a confirmation regarding the games existence. According to a Microsoft spokesperson, 'Bootcamp' isn't part of the Reclaimer saga and won't appear on the newly announced Xbox One console - interesting! Thanks, wwm0nkey. (Louis Wu 18:07:08 UTC)

Another look at FUD

If you were intrigued by yesterday's announcement of a live-action Halo TV show, but wanted more details... we've got a couple of articles for you. The Huffington Post has a bit on it (it tickled Bryan Newman that Halo is back to getting mainstream media attention), and NBC News has the clip from the Xbox One announcement in which Spielberg discusses his excitement over the project. One Small Step for Halo...
Microsoft just announced the awesomely-named (if I do say so myself) Xbox One, and along with it, a brand new premium television series based in the Halo Universe, and headed by Steven Spielberg. Showing Some Love... Again
Back in July 2009, Carnage A51 (then known as OMFGCarnage) released a Halo 3-based Rube Goldberg machine which broke new ground. I liked it then - and I still like it now. He stopped by our forum to announce that he's remastered it (new soundtrack, higher-quality visuals), and re-released it; if you missed it the first time around, give it a look! The annual Game Audio Network Guild Awards were announced yesterday - and the Awards show will be streamed live on Sunday, at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific, on the VideoGamesLive Twitch.TV channel. aPK stopped by last night with word of Clips of the Week, Episode 6 - it's full of moments where staying on his feet made the difference between winning and losing. Not too long after that, xClicked announced the latest Versus episode - he and aPK face off in a Halo Reach minigame called 'Crate Parade'. It's like a shredder... but not really.
