Is Theater getting a downgrade?
Team Beyond has gone through the recently uploaded Master Chief Collection manual, and the wording for Theater modes suggests that some functionality that DID exist in Halo 3 (when it launched in 2007) has been removed in the Master Chief Collection. 343 hasn't commented, that we've heard, so it's possible that there's just some misunderstanding going on... but it's also possible that you will not be able to easily create campaign experiences in the MCC. 50 new MCC Achievements in Launch Content
Yesterday, Bravo posted a list of the 50 Achievements (500 gamerscore) being added to the existing 400 Achievements that ship with The Master Chief Collection - I'm guessing some of these will have a very, very, VERY low completion rate. Getting closer and closer to MCC
The Halo Bulletin that went live last night has some fun reading in it - unlockables and backgrounds in the Master Chief Collection, a reminder of the release of Remaking the Legend, the Halo 2 Anniversary documentary, rosters from the Launch Invitational taking place next weekend, more pies in the face, aids for your last-minute entry into our 343 Guilt O' Lantern contest (DO IT), and some cool screenshots. Armor Unlocks for Halo 5 - in MCC
IGN has the lowdown on some Halo 5: Guardians armor that will unlock in the Beta with gameplay from the Master Chief Collection. Hope you haven't filled your Xbone drive yet
Kotaku explains why you'll either be pre-loading the Master Chief Collection (pre-loading for digital copies is available now, actually) or maybe not actually playing on Launch Day - there's a 20GB Day-One download coming.
