Guns and Rosy Views
Last Night's Halo Bulletin focuses on Promethean Weapons - it contains a pair of vids (one with overlaid music, one without), along with details about each individual weapon. But although that's a lot of info, it's not all that's there! There's a bit of info about 343's participation in New York Comic Con 2012 (coming up in 2 weeks), along with a brand-new Sparkast. Finally, there's a new Xbox LIVE theme available, and they've got screenshots to show you what you get if you buy it. Halo 4 is less than 40 days away... get pumped! Stepto, who used to oversee Xbox LIVE's security and now works for GAEMS, tweeted about the newest GAEMS release, the Vanguard - it is a UNSC-themed case that holds your Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox and hooks it to an integrated 19" monitor, for your on-the-go Xbox pleasure! Last summer, during HaloFest, Juan Gonzalez from HaloDestiny sat down with Marty O'Donnell for a 30-minute video interview - it's full of fun details. If you love Marty's compositions, and you want to know more about him and how he works... go watch! Thanks, TheOddOne. (Side note: about 18 and a half minutes in, Marty talks about "The Halo 1 Love Theme" - if you've never heard it, Marty released it, along with a bunch of other outtakes, back in 2002. Reoccurring Themes
Thanks to Enfinit over at the Waypoint Community for bringing this awesome video to my attention yesterday. It's a set of B-Roll clips from the recent Behind-The-Scenes videos highlighting the announcement of Neil Davidge courtesy of MTV. The brilliance comes through when you listen to the clips of music that the orchestra is playing. If you were worried that Halo 4 would be devoid of some of the gorgeous themes and melodies we've come to know and love... you shouldn't be. Some beautiful snippets of what's to come in there. DIY Bungie-themed iPod case skin
