Go. Go? Yeah.
If you find yourself in an empty church, what's the first thing you should do? Yep - sing the Halo theme. Thanks, Monochron. (Louis Wu 21:29:15 UTC)

Next Stop: San Diego
The Halo Bulletin is short and sweet this week - there's a summary of what will be at San Diego Comic-Con next week, along with Matchmaking updates (for the Halo fans not totally immersed in the Destiny Beta, of course), some cool Halo-themed Forza content, and some great 'Quarterback' screenshots. Read it at Halo Waypoint, or read it right here in our Halo Bulletin Archive. (Louis Wu 21:46:07 UTC)

Hardware Malfunction
fake frogs stopped in with the latest Halo-themed 'Clyde n Owen' comic strip - I'm not sure I get it, but if the artist says it's Halo-themed, I guess it is! (Louis Wu 20:42:32 UTC)

Halo Mash-Up Pack
PlayXBLA has got quite a bit of information regarding the Halo mash-up pack for Minecraft - looks like a decent amount of Halo themed content is making its way to Minecraft. There are also a couple screenshots showing off Noble team skins, a Mammoth, and a Guilty Spark skin. Check it out! (colindosaj 21:16:50 UTC)

Last Chance for some Halo love in Guitar Hero 3
FyreWulff pointed out that Activision is pulling all of Guitar Hero 3's DLC off of Xbox LIVE at the end of this month - so if you want to download the Mjolnir Mix for that game, now's the time to do it. It'll be gone after Monday! (Louis Wu 21:35:38 UTC)

Donuts and Cat Shirts
Another Wednesday, another Halo Bulletin. This one recaps last week's win over community pros, discusses upcoming playlist changes (in detail), lets you know that Halo: Escalation #4 is live (with a link to a preview, even), and shows you some very pretty Haven-themed screenshots. It can be found locally, as usual, in our Halo Bulletin Archive, as well. (Thanks, serpx.) (Louis Wu 16:23:58 UTC)

There's also a nice writeup of the Gamers For Giving tournament that took place last weekend. Finally, there is some info about upcoming playlist tweaks - go read! (If you need or want it, it's available in our Halo Bulletin Archive, as well.) (Louis Wu 17:19:32 UTC)

Hey, it's still this week, right?
We totally forgot to mention Wednesday's Halo Bulletin yesterday - sorry! It's absolutely worth reading; in addition to the information about upcoming changes in Matchmaking playlists, and beautiful screenshots with a nature theme, there's an announcement about a job opening for a Franchise Writer - a job many fans might love to have. More - a job many fans might be qualified for! Go give the whole thing a read. (It is, of course, in our local archive, as well.) Thanks to MacGyver10 for keeping up when we forgot. What are U-Boat cleaners doing in Glasgow?
Yesterday's Halo Bulletin, the final Bulletin of 2013, went live on time - and it's a fun read. Frankie agreed to an AMA-styled Q&A... and he does mean ANYTHING. There are also some pretty nice Holiday-themed screenshots. Go read it! (You can, as usual, read it in our Halo Bulletin Archive if you choose.) (Louis Wu 19:06:58 UTC)

That's a lotta games.
More than 7 years ago, we mentioned a website that had 17 different Halo-themed Flash games - we just heard from Mukelo, its curator, and they just passed the 100-game milestone for Halo titles. (The 100th game is something called Elite Dress-Up 2: Female. I'm not sure I'd call it a 'game' - but overall, 100 titles IS impressive!) Go check out their goodies! (Louis Wu 19:44:49 UTC)

fake frogs stopped in to share the latest 'Clyde n Owen' comic - it's his first Halo-themed one, so it seemed appropriate! Check it out. (Louis Wu 23:49:31 UTC)

The Reclaimer Map Pack Trailer
A few days ago, AddiCt3d 2CHa0s sent us a link to the Reclaimer Map Pack, a set of three forged Promethean-themed maps created by Hadokenchild. We let it slide, but she didn't let that discourage her - go check out her informative post on our forum! (And be sure to grab these maps... they look great.) (Louis Wu 19:11:11 UTC)

Halo: Songs of Adventure
Geek and Sundry posted a new 'Songs of Adventure' vlog... this one focused on Halo's theme. Folks should make sure that Marty doesn't see this... he doesn't need the ego inflation. (It's an interesting watch, though - go see.) Thanks, robofin117. (Louis Wu 20:26:06 UTC)

Halo Bulletin, August 14
The Halo Bulletin went live last night, as it usually does on Wednesday nights - this one contains details about the Champions Bundle, gives extra details about the Halo 4 Global Challenge, and provides you with a bunch of Green-themed screenshots. As always, a local version is available in our Halo Bulletin Archive, for those seeking lightness. (Louis Wu 20:38:49 UTC)

Halo Monk Chant at VGL
Last night, the live-streamed Video Games Live concert took place at San Diego Comic Con - and Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori were there. (Their segment starts around 3:16:30 or so in the Twitch.TV archived video.) It's focused on Destiny... but at the start of the segment, Marty and Mike perform an impromptu version of the monk chant from the original Halo theme. Fantastic! Go watch. (Louis Wu 16:24:23 UTC)

The Halo Theme Song, Al Fresco
Huh. The Halo Medley video we mentioned yesterday was released yesterday afternoon (thanks, TTL Demag0gue) - and then disappeared again. A new version is back up this morning (thanks, thebruce0) - but it's been recut, with no sign of the 405th members who participated in the first version. This one is just Lindsey Stirling (on violin) and William Joseph (on piano), in the woods - still really cool, and still a fantastic version of the Halo theme... but Spartan-free. Go watch! (Louis Wu 18:02:08 UTC)

Halo Medley - Revisiting a Cool Fan Shoot
Last year, we mentioned a teaser pic that showed off Lindsey Stirling, the amazing dancing violinist, holding a giant Halo turret. In December, DevinSuperTramp released his 'Real Life Halo' video, and I assumed that was that... but today, DHalo pointed out both a version of the Halo theme played by Lindsey Stirling, and a Behind-The-Scenes vid from DevinSuperTramp, showing the recording session (which seems to be the same recording session as last year's piece). The actual Halo Medley vid should be live in the next day or so. In the meantime, enjoy everything else! (Louis Wu 17:54:45 UTC)

Revive Customs made a custom pair of Halo-themed Nike LeBron 9 Elite shoes - I don't usually wear basketball shoes, but when I do I make sure that they are UNSC themed. Thanks, Hypertrooper. (colindosaj 22:21:57 UTC)
