Halo 5 Prima Guides Available for Pre-Order
Prima, the maker of many official video game guides, just revealed their Halo 5: Guardians offerings this week. It will come in three different flavors: the electronic e-guide, the standard edition and a collector's guide with an unannounced bonus DLC. Thanks Urban Reflex!

Halo 5: Guardians LE Console and Controllers Pre-Order
The Halo 5: Guardians pre-order page has been updated with the newly announced LE console and a pair of sweet new XBO controllers. The LE console includes the LE version of the game and FOTUS-class armor and multiplayer emblem along with it's metallic accents and custom sound effects. The new Spartan Locke and Master Chief-inspired controllers include a bonus REQ pack with in-game visors mimicking those of their respective homages. Halo World Championship in 2015
As a part of the Gamescom Reveals today, Xbox and 343 Industries announced the Halo World Championship where gamers will compete for a share of $1,000,000 in prize money. You can watch this YouTube video for more information on the competitive series that launches later this year with Halo 5 Arena multiplayer.

Halo Wars 2 In 2016!
The Surprise announcement of the show, Xbox and 343 Industries have just revealed that Halo Wars 2 will be coming Fall of 2016!

Halo Gamescom Reveals
343 Industries just showed off some new footage and features at Gamescom in Germany during the Microsoft Xbox Briefing. We have a brand new Arena map called Coliseum, new features in Arena multiplayer like player outlines during a match, the Halo World Championship was announced with a $1 Million dollar prize pool, new maps for Arena and Warzone multiplayer shown off and a limited edition Halo 5: Guardians console with the a 1TB hard drive and the digital game included! We're sure there will be more details soon, but that is just what we've seen so far! (MacGyver10 15:14:52 UTC)

It seems that the May 29th release date for ODST was just a placeholder. It's not quite ready, my friends.

HCS Cup #1 Cancelled
343 Industries announced that HCS Cup 1 will be cancelled due to party connectivity problems. Although Halo: The Master Chief Collection has received a handful of patches over the past 5 months, connectivity and online matchmaking issues still persist. Hopefully we will receive further updates regarding HCS and connectivity fixes sooner than later. Kotaku is currently running on story on the situation that details some of the specifics. HCS All-Star Halo 2 Classic Showdown
343i announced that on March 19 (this Thursday) they will be hosting an HCS All-Star Halo 2 Classic Showdown. 343i has selected 8 of the top HCS players and the community will vote on which 4 players will match agains the 343 Pro Team in a best-of-5 series. Xbox One MCC Bundle Announced
Major Nelson announced that Microsoft will be releasing an Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle this month for $349. The console itself is a standard black Xbox One, but you do get some nice Halo packaging as well as the digital version of MCC. Neat! (colindosaj 22:41:37 UTC)
