Halo Cutscene Library in HD - All In
Well, demand looks controllable, so we talked it over - and decided what the heck, we'd just turn on ALL the Halo 1 cutscene HD downloads. Swing by the Halo Cutscene Library and grab the ones you love! (And with that, the entire trilogy's cutscenes are available in HD.) Thanks once again to HaLo2FrEeEk, of Infectionist Machinima, for the rendering of these scenes! (If you run across a download that's mismarked, please send mail; there's been some confusion about the ordering, and I'm not 100% sure I've gotten it completely right.) Halo Cutscenes - now in HD
It's been a long time coming, but we've finally got the Halo 1 cutscenes for you in HD format, thanks to HaLo2FrEeEk of Infectionist Machinima. These were recorded from the PC version, and are available in both WMP9 format and H.264-encoded QuickTime format. We're starting with the first Pillar of Autumn scenes - depending on demand, we might speed up the release rate. (As an added bonus, all the smaller versions have been re-encoded, as well - though the QuickTime versions there are still use the Sorenson3 codec.) Go browse! (Louis Wu 16:36:10 UTC)

403 Ep 1
Halo0001 X stopped in last night to announce "403" Episode 1, the first installment of a machinima series about a bunch of guys playing Big Team Battle in matchmaking. The Prodigious Permutation

403 - upcoming machinima
Halo0001 X stopped by with word of a teaser for an upcoming machinima series. To be honest, I don't get it - the first two-thirds of this teaser is an effects-heavy shot of a Spartan walking down a hallway with a flamethrower. RvB Reconstruction: Chapter 6
Red vs Blue Reconstruction Chapter 6 has been posted for sponsors - look for it on the RvB front page (for everyone) in the very near future. It's a fascinating progression of the plot - and Caboose provides multiple laugh-out-loud moments. With every chapter, Rooster Teeth shows that they are setting the bar for Halo machinima - superb technique, great storytelling, professional-level editing, voice acting the entire community should be striving towards... this stuff makes me happy. iGuardian managed to get a teleporter outside Guardian, to a place surrounded with just green. Why does this matter to you? Machinima in Australia
Sgt. Hartsock was proud of the fact that his portrait of the 'This Spartan Life' crew was used in a Kotaku Australia story about the Machinima Film Festival that took place a couple of days ago in Melbourne. Lots of Halo content discussed there! (Rooster Teeth's Burnie Burns and TSL's Chris Burke, both of whom participated in a number of panels at that festival, are in Sydney tonight for the Sydney Film Festival, as well.)
