Battle Golf Gameplay Shows Off New Custom Scoring, Item Detection and Objective Markers Coming in New Update
You have to deal with Gamespot's wonderful video player, but if you want to see some gameplay of the new 'Battle Golf' gametype coming to Halo 5, it's up now. Kind of gives you an idea of custom scoring, item detection and objective markers that are coming to Forge and what it sounds like to have a grunt as your gameplay announcer too! Opening Presents Early, Finds Possible New Gametypes, Profit?

Halo Community Update - 12/2/16 'Brute Force' and Canon Fodder #93
I could get used to this! Ske7ch has this week's Halo Community Update and Canon Fodder up already! That means we can let you know about the usual story lore, community content (Forza fan creation crossover!) and news of things to come, the actual week it's announced! Some highlights this week are:

Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition Listed in Xbox Store
It looks like there will be a regular digital edition of the upcoming Halo Wars 2, but also an 'Ultimate Edition' in the digital store as well. Nothing shows up now for the UE, but I'm sure its content will show up soon.
Update: No sooner than I posted, it shows up! The Ultimate Edition will include a Halo Wars 2 Season Pass for DLC which delivers regular updates that span more than six months and includes new Leaders, Units, a new campaign expansion and more content to be announced soon. The 'Definitive Edition' of the original Halo Wars is also included with improved graphics and runs natively on Xbox One and Win10 PC's.

Changes to Halo 5's Team Arena Playlist Are Set and Live Now

Sorry we missed it yesterday (life calls!), but the latest free update for Halo 5, 'Memories of Reach' is up and obviously playable! Halo 3's Graphics Are Still Pretty Amazing Today
With the recent announcement of Microsoft to discontinue manufacturing of the Xbox 360, a lot of people are looking back on the games that defined the console. Halo 3 is by far the game that meant the most for Microsoft during that time, and really changed the gaming landscape in general. Try The New Halo 8-Player Co-op Early Next Week
If you didn't read the 'Ghosts of Meridian' patch notes yesterday, or maybe you're living under a rock, you might have missed that one week from today Halo 5 will feature a Warzone Firefight beta test on the Escape from A.R.C. map. It will run from next Thursday through the following Monday and give you your chance to try the 8-player PvE early!

Play Soccer With a Warthog In 'Rocket League' Coming Next Week
Rocket League is a fairly popular game over on the Playstation, and it was announced yesterday that it's coming to Xbox One next week! The Halo connection here is that the Xbox One version of the game not only includes all the DLC that has been released so far for the PS version, it also includes a console-exclusive Gears of War car and of course, Halo's Warthog! The Halo World Championship Coming to The X Games Aspen
You will soon be able to get your snowboard on, slalom the slopes and then snowmobile over to an Xbox One console to play Halo 5 at the X Games. Next Free Halo 5 Update, 'Cartographer's Gift' Due Later This Month
Gravemind's ever-so-slightly faster fingers shared with us the DLC announcement for December in Halo 5: Guardians last evening. The 'Cartographer's Gift' will arrive later this month with a slew of new content. Many will rejoice at the arrival of the new Forge mode, but there's also the new Warzone (Battle of Noctus), Arena (Overgrowth) and Big Team Battle (Antifreeze and Burial Mounds) maps and over 30 new REQ cards! It is with a heavy heart that I announce that we're cancelling the Guilt O' Lantern contest - we didn't get enough entries to actually HOLD it. Game Developers Unite for War Child
This past weekend, 343 Industries announced they will be participating in War Child's 'HELP: Real War Is Not A Game' game jam. They will have six days to create a game based on a brief from War Child, and are joining some other great studios in this project like Team17 (Worms series) and Creative Assembly (Total War series and the upcoming Halo Wars 2).
