January 21, 2012 Link to this post Will the Commercials Have a Fast-talking Announcer? Yesterday we mentioned a Halo Waypoint announcement regarding the new XBOX Live Avatar-based Halo collectibles coming from McFarlane Toys, but we forgot to mention the add the additional news that McFarlane Toys also announced yet another type of Halo collectible called "Micro-Ops". These sound very cool, as they scale down the vehicles and personnel in order to focus on some of the larger set pieces in the Halo Universe, such as the environment itself. The first series alone will give you the ability to recreate the Halo 3 map High Ground! Sounds awesome! Check out the aforementioned press release for more details. I wonder what model of Banshee they'll use... (GrimBrother One 15:35:03 UTC)

You can see a partial (very partial for Halo 4 obviously) lineup in the linked press release. Collectors, be at the ready! Also, as a bonus, I would like to personally link you to the local version of this week's Halo Bulletin from bs angel! (GrimBrother One 14:19:34 UTC)

If you download the official Gamer Picture during the prize period (one of which ends tonight, and the next of which starts tomorrow), you will be entered into a sweepstakes whose winner will fly to LA in May for an Attack of the Show episode. Apparently, there's a dusk-till-dawn session of Halo Anniversary being scheduled this weekend as part of this promotion - but I can't find any info about that specifically. Thanks, ElzarTheBam!
