Podcast Thursday!
In short order last night and this morning, we received three separate reports of new Halo podcasts:
- Robowski told us about Post Game Carnage Report 135 - there's talk of a lemonade stand (in the context of Master Chief)? Odd.
- Dust Storm let us know about a pair of Podtaculars - Ep 321 discusses Infinity Multiplayer, while Ep 322 covers Forward Unto Dawn Episode 3. There's even a PodTV episode discussing the hidden text in last week's Bulletin.
- Woaf announced that Dust and Echoes Ep 25 went live - special guest is Forward Unto Dawn's David Fuchs, discussing the Community Evolved Kickstarter project. (Plenty of other stuff, too.)

Fun Halo 4 Fan Art

Forget those cherry trees...
Postmortem pointed out a fun piece of artwork from DeviantARTist SharpWriter - it's the ORIGINAL Master Chief! (He's got a couple of other Halo-related pieces - there's a new Presidential Seal for the US (more guns, more Elite skulls) and an ODST sketch from a few years ago. Take a look!

When you're upset, climb a mountain.
A couple of weeks ago, we mentioned that the Japanese voice actors for Master Chief and Cortana have been replaced, and that this is upsetting some Japanese Halo fans. One fan decided to step it up a little bit - he climbed to the top of Mount Fuji, dressed as the Chief, and showed off a petition to reverse the decision. Wow. Thanks, wwm0nkey. Halo 4 Front and Center at Eurogamer Expo
Eurogamer Expo 2012 is coming up in a month - it's a gaming festival that takes place every year in London. Recently, they announced the keynote speaker, kicking off the event on Thursday, September 27 - Frank O'Connor will present a Halo 4 Developer Session to showcase "this year's biggest Xbox 360 release". According to Tom Bramwell, Eurogamer Operations Director:
We were looking around for a big video game icon to open the show and they don't get much bigger than the Master Chief. The Master Chief is more than a video game star - he's a pop culture icon - and we can't wait to see what 343 Industries has in store for us.

Ooh! Ooh! I bet it's a pony.
Mountain Dew UK has decided to promote a Halo 4-related reveal (hmm, what could it be) by asking for Facebook Shares - until they get 1000, all you can see is the Master Chief and the logo (and some blurred out stuff that's relatively easy to interpret). Wanna help? You know what to do. Thanks, ElzarTheBam. If It Were Realistic: Halo Marines
Euphorian Films released "If It Were Realistic: Halo Marines" - a machinima that speculates what Halo might look like if... well, if it were more realistic. SDCC posters - signed - for charity
mastrbiggy collected three SDCC posters (two Master Chief and Cortana, one Forward Unto Dawn), then got them all signed to Reach and back. All three have been put up for auction on eBay (one | two | three) - with 100% of the final sale price going to Child's Play. From Florida Unto Dawn
Back in May, I had the opportunity to join Greenskull & CruelLEGACEY on a stealth trip to Vancouver, Canada to check out the set of the upcoming Halo film project Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. It was an incredible experience full of awesome surprises, but they wouldn't be the same if we weren't able to share them with you, the Halo Community. Over the next few weeks and months, we'll each be bringing you some very cool exclusive looks and impressions from the set, as well as insight from the cast and crew. We hope you enjoy it. New Halo Sculpts from a longtime contributor
It's been about a year since we'd heard from him, but Lance Rutledge sent us a bunch of new sculpt pics recently - there's a Halo 3-era Master Chief, and an 'ancient Arbiter' (he looks pretty aged!). Both are about 10 inches tall - very nice work! (If you like what you see, follow the Facebook link at the top of his gallery page; he's got other Halo-related stuff over there!)
