Does Noble Team outshine the Master Chief?
Over at the A.V. Club, there's a new article looking at the characters in Halo: Reach (both the ones you play with and the one you play AS). It's an intriguing look at how Reach's campaign differed from the Halo titles that came before, and the titles that have followed. Sometimes doomed heroes are the right choice! Buy a Master Chief Sculpt for Christmas
Jason Evans has been casting sculpts of Master Chief for a few years now - I bought a couple from his 2011 series. This summer, he posted pics of a Halo 4 version - and he's back, with a Facebook page that you can use to buy a new version that will be shipping in time for Christmas. It's available in cold-cast nickel, cold-cast bronze, or white epoxy - you choose! Pretty awesome. (I still plan to give away at least one of the older ones.) (Louis Wu 20:18:30 UTC)

The UNSC Makes an Appearance on Chinese Military Show
Kotaku ran a story about the Chinese military show, 'New Defense Observations'. According to the article the October 19th episode had a segment on "smart armor", where both the Master Chief and a UNSC Marine were used as examples of U.S. military concept armor. One2One MC Bust for sale in the UK
jay mee noticed a pretty cool Master Chief bust for sale on Gumtree (a UK classified site). These were made by One2One Collectibles and released in 2009 - the run was 650 (not the 350 mentioned in the Gumtree posting, but that's a minor detail, it's still a tiny number), and the original price was $225. I haven't seen many of these being sold on secondary markets - if you've been looking for one of these, this might be a good opportunity! (Louis Wu 18:37:50 UTC)

Halo Goes Next-Gen
During the Microsoft E3 press conference Master Chief made a surprise appearance. Although a specific Halo title wasn't mentioned, Bonnie Ross of 343 Industries announced that Halo on Xbox One would feature cloud support, dedicated servers and run at 60fps. Go watch the trailer! Undercover Spartan
If you have been to Times Square then you've probably seen people dressed up as popular cartoon, comic, and video game characters who will take pictures with tourists for tips. According to Joshua, these people are robbed of their tips at the end of the day. Can I Have His Helmet?
