Halo 4 at NYCC
I totally forgot to post this yesterday - but Domino Theory wrote up his thoughts about Halo 4, as he saw it at New York Comic-Con, over at Flesh and Faith. Given the venue, it's not surprising that Ragnarok and its Mantis(es) got some love - but check it out for thoughts on other weapons, as well. Thanks, mastrbiggy.

Mail, Mail, Language!
Last weekend's internet access was drastically affected by New York Comic-Con and the events that surrounded it - and things fell through the cracks. There have been two mail sacks at Bungie that have gone unmentioned - the October 12 edition contains musings about the supernatural, historical figures, and an interview with Jerome. The October 19 edition focuses on the jobs done by Bungie employees (and how you can get in on the action). We ALSO missed a Breaking In article with Tom Slattery, Bungie's Localization Content Manager (he makes things sound good in languages other than English). Go catch up!

Telikos Protocol, Episode 1
This isn't STRICTLY Halo-related, but it IS 'Halo-inspired', and one of the principals is a heavy-duty community member, so... If you visit Vanquish Interactive, you'll see that the crew will be on hand this week at New York Comic-Con, and will be selling Telikos Protocol Episode 1 (which was distributed digitally to backers of the Kickstarter project yesterday) at the show! The artwork is fantastic (there's a prelude, containing the first dozen or so pages of Issue 1, available here, for free) - well worth your time and money! Check it out. (Louis Wu 17:08:46 UTC)

The Eighth Plague
Hedgemony continues his series of amazing comic cover concepts based on the new GEN2 MJOLNIR armor from Halo 4. He started out with CIO, and kept the magic rolling with Oceanic. His latest though, completely near and dear to my heart. Check out his artistic depiction of a valiant Spartan IV battling the most grim of conditions in LOCUS. Go. Look. NOW! Guns and Rosy Views
Last Night's Halo Bulletin focuses on Promethean Weapons - it contains a pair of vids (one with overlaid music, one without), along with details about each individual weapon. But although that's a lot of info, it's not all that's there! There's a bit of info about 343's participation in New York Comic Con 2012 (coming up in 2 weeks), along with a brand-new Sparkast. Finally, there's a new Xbox LIVE theme available, and they've got screenshots to show you what you get if you buy it. Halo 4 is less than 40 days away... get pumped! Tom Salta, a composer who's worked on many video game projects (including Halo Anniversary) and Niles Rogers, the producer behind the Halo 2 soundtrack, will both be participating in a New York Comic-Con panel called 'Maestros of Horror and Sci-Fi Music' - if you're going to be at the convention, be sure to save the timeslot!
