More Comic-Con Pics
Skie has put together a nice collection of photos of the Comic-con Elite costume we mentioned a couple of times (here and here) - each pic has a source tag, showing where he found it. (Skie would love to commission the costume's creator for a project, but cant find a way to contact him. Skie can be reached via email.) We also got mail from cappy, who took a whole PASSEL of photos at the event - there are a half-dozen that cover the RvB guys, Halo, and the Elite; they start with this pic, then hit 'next' until you get to some apes. Today's VG Cats pokes fun at the whole 'discovering sex buried in video games' issue - Halo gets a couple of nods. Several people sent this along - looks like William McDonald was first. (Louis Wu 14:10:52 UTC)

Don't Mess with Tex.
SanchezTheLlama put together a guest strip for CTF, a Halo-influenced comic (not all strips are safe for work, so careful if you go backwards). Do women on XBL have a harder time than men? You decide. (Louis Wu 15:21:00 UTC)

Strip Number 343.
You knew it was coming, right? Wow - when Stuntmutt first submitted some strips for a pun-filled Halo comic strip in 2003, who knew he'd make it all the way to 343? (And with jokes like this one, it's STILL a mystery.) Congrats, One One Se7en. (Louis Wu 12:28:22 UTC)

The Reverse of Comic #297.
Back in March, Stuntmutt took a swipe at the Halo shotgun in netplay - today he shows the other side of the coin in the current One One Se7en. (Louis Wu 12:14:30 UTC)

Master Hot Stepper
Jamie Noguchi's brother works for Bungie. Jamie writes a comic called Angry Zen Master. Jamie's latest strip takes a calculated, insider look at Bungie's latest doings - go read. And if you're disappointed that the secret's out... blame Jamie's brother Mat. That guy just can't keep his mouth shut. (Thanks, mnemesis.) (Louis Wu 18:00:02 UTC)

Dual Wielded.
Today's Halo Babies comic needs no real writeup. Or, maybe more accurately, any writeup I do will simply be digging a deeper hole. (Louis Wu 12:23:26 UTC)

A Revisionist Look at Halo 2
Lothar Hex dropped us a line to let us know that his news post for Friday's Exterminatus Now comic is a rather lengthy look at the differences between Halo and Halo 2. Most of it has been said before - but I really liked the comment that it's hard to be in the 'middle' in the fan community; I've seen a lot of the polarization he talks about, and I agree with him that it's easy to see the merits (and weaknesses) of both sides. Give it a read! (Louis Wu 02:19:57 UTC)
