Check the image linked at the bottom of the news post on this page for a graphical depiction of his fear. Thanks, Kaari Koehn. (Louis Wu 14:20:16 UTC)
October 14, 2005 Link to this post Pinkuh Blues. Pinkuh Blues.
In a coincidental piece of timing, Stuntmutt comments on Pinkuh's new comic series in today's One One Se7en (just as she announces a new piece of art). (Louis Wu 18:31:43 UTC)
October 14, 2005 Link to this post Re-write This week's Halo Babies comic takes its own look at the Peter Jackson/Halo Movie news... I gotta say, I'm LOVING that final character. Thanks, Gruntsbane. (Louis Wu 12:37:11 UTC)
October 7, 2005 Link to this post Guest Speaker Halo Babies has posted its final RvB runner-up strip today - I'm thinking mind-altering substances were involved. Thanks, mrsmiley. (Louis Wu 07:18:14 UTC)
October 1, 2005 Link to this post Lost the Lead Promo Pinkuh's new comic, Lost the Lead, has a promo comic up in our forum now. (The full site is still waiting for the coding to be finished.) Go read! (Louis Wu 21:00:13 UTC)
September 30, 2005 Link to this post Losing Control Today's Halo Babies takes a shot at the new Nintendo Revolution's controller... go read! Thanks, mrsmiley. (Louis Wu 12:27:57 UTC)
September 28, 2005 Link to this post Pick Up Artist. Hehe - I have SO acted out today's One One Se7en in real games... man. Sometimes, a comic just hits home. (Though Stuntmutt assures me that he had someone completely different in mind when he wrote this particular strip...) (Louis Wu 15:49:31 UTC)
September 26, 2005 Link to this post Corn Star. If you thought One One Se7en was ALREADY too full of puns, stay far, far away from today's comic. It's like someone blew up a fusion core that was standing next to a whole TEAM of puns. (Louis Wu 13:26:12 UTC)
September 23, 2005 Link to this post Giving Puma a Bad Name Today's Halo Babies comic was the runner-up in their Red vs Blue contest a while back; it was written by PBDemon (and drawn, as usual, by Gruntsbane). Go read! (Louis Wu 13:08:11 UTC)
September 19, 2005 Link to this post Lost the Lead Pinkuh announced a new webcomic this morning - it's called 'Lost the Lead', and it will chronicle her adventures in online gaming. (Halo will play a pretty big role, but it won't be ALL Halo.) Looking forward to it! (Louis Wu 10:04:38 UTC)
September 16, 2005 Link to this post It's a legitimate strategy! Halo features in a pretty funny Exterminatus Now comic today - thanks, Lothar Hex. (Louis Wu 12:12:33 UTC)
September 12, 2005 Link to this post That looks like it hurts. Well... she hasn't been keeping me appraised of new work, but that's not gonna stop me from adding it to her art page anyway. Go check Elnea's Art Page for two new comics (both combining Farscape and Red vs Blue, two of her biggest passions), and two new avatars made for friends. (Look for the September dates.) Update: 2 more have been added to the 'Cartoons and Art Works' - another Farscape crossover, and a colored sketch. Thanks, Elnea! (Louis Wu 19:02:33 UTC)
September 9, 2005 Link to this post Red vs Blue vs Green Over at Halo Babies, the winning strip in their recent 'Red vs Blue' contest has been released as this week's normal comic. Nrek did the writing, Gruntsbane did the artwork. Knowledge of a popular custom gametype in Halo 2 multiplayer is necessary to get the joke. (Cute stuff!) (Louis Wu 07:22:44 UTC)
September 2, 2005 Link to this post Warthog's Last Jump Over at Halo Babies, the humor gets sort of dark... I want my teddy bear! (They've also finished up their RvB cartoon contest, but the winning strips aren't online yet. I was going to hold off announcing this until they were - but it's unclear when that will happen.) (Louis Wu 15:01:59 UTC)
August 31, 2005 Link to this post I'm hiding. How about you? Penny Arcade's comic for today (which doesn't have a news post yet, frighteningly enough), involves Gus and Burnie from Red vs Blue (who spent the weekend at the Penny Arcade Expo)... and some stuff that probably shouldn't be seen. Only peripherally Halo-related... but, well... I couldn't pass it up. Thanks, Max. (Louis Wu 03:01:56 UTC)
August 26, 2005 Link to this post 100 Halo Babies has hit 100! The current strip is a lot of fun - and has spawned three new desktops besides. Go read! (Louis Wu 14:08:54 UTC)
August 23, 2005 Link to this post Resolute 16: GT... Hey! Been out all day... get ready for a flood of news! We'll get started with the funnies... ÜberChief posted Episode 16 of his Resolute comic - a perfect example of how unstressed people can be until THEIR stuff gets trashed. (Louis Wu 00:01:44 UTC)
August 19, 2005 Link to this post Pecking Order New comic up at Halo Babies - I gotta say, that's one fast-thinking grunt! There's also a reminder about the Red vs Blue Comic Contest, which ends in a couple of days. Go check it out! (Louis Wu 12:21:48 UTC)
August 16, 2005 Link to this post I need a bucket. Okay, people do lots of things to get on the news page here... but the latest episode of Resolute is just... wrong. You should tell ÜberChief that. (Louis Wu 00:57:33 UTC)
August 14, 2005 Link to this post Burger Time? Eep. MasterToad points out another Halo-related comic - the latest episode of Hypercombofinish looks at games in our future. (Louis Wu 15:28:30 UTC)
August 12, 2005 Link to this post Halo Home Shopping New strip over at Halo Babies today... you'd think a soldier would have better control of his weapons. Then again, maybe that's just because he's the BABY MC... (Louis Wu 12:47:12 UTC)
August 10, 2005 Link to this post I don't know where to begin. Black Six wrote to let us know that today's Mac Hall (guest-drawn by Jamie Noguchi, whose Angry Zen Master comic we mentioned a couple of months ago) has some pretty cool Halo content in it. (The beginning of that story arc started a few comics ago - you might want to look there first.) w00t! (The topic itself is so chock-full of geek-goodness, I'm having trouble cataloguing it all.) (Louis Wu 15:02:48 UTC)
August 9, 2005 Link to this post Spartan Comics AJay points out SpartanComics over at MySpace, a series of well-done Halo-based comics. (To be fair - Shooty Guy pointed this out last month, but initially there was some unpleasantness about what ELSE was linked from the page Shooty Guy was pointing to, so I passed on it - and by the time it got fixed, I'd forgotten that it hadn't been front-paged.) In any case, go read now! (Louis Wu 13:54:00 UTC)
August 5, 2005 Link to this post Baby Love Halo Babies has a new strip up today (of course they do - it's Friday)... but they also have a new contest: come up with a Red vs Blue-themed plot for a Halo Babies strip, you could win a copy of the Red vs Blue Season 3 DVD. Nice! (For those keeping track, 'A Changing of Hats' contains minor Halo 2 spoilers.) Hey, and while you're there... there's another Humpday-like writeup for a clan match between HaloBabies and the Mob of Angry Peasants. (Louis Wu 13:37:20 UTC)
July 29, 2005 Link to this post Tough Call You know the Halo Babies are growing up when conversations like THIS one start happening. (Louis Wu 19:40:28 UTC)
