Battle-Damaged Scarab
Bungie posted an article showing off the huge Scarab that WizKids is selling, in very limited quantites, at ComicCon this week. (There are 500 of 'em, and they're going for $250 each.) There are stories about this piece at Gizmodo and TeamXbox, as well, with a photo that shows how truly huge this scarab is, and with extra info about the upcoming games.

Sneak Peek at Gentle Giant Busts
Heh - Ain't It Cool News wrote up the Preview Night walkabout at San Diego ComicCon - and there are some Halo shots, with a pretty prominent 'No Pictures' icon right in front of them. Jasman's Halo Toys at SDCC
Action Figure Insider has an article about some upcoming Halo goodness to be seen at San Diego ComicCon this week - the Halo laser tag set from Jasman Toys, last mentioned a month ago, will be on display at the Tor Books booth. (These products, a plasma rifle and a plasma pistol, will be available in October, with an energy sword coming next year. The Jasman website has no information yet about the Halo stuff. Cortana 3.0
Ms. Valentine will be at the San Diego ComicCon this week - and on one day she'll be going as Cortana. If you have a Red vs Blue account, you can read her journal entry about the changes she's made to the costume - but if you don't, here's the bottom line: This is what it used to look like (64k), and here's what it looks like after a 7+ hour paint job (full body, 56k | closeup, 100k). Bendis on Uprising
Newsarama interviewed Michael Bendis about his work on the upcoming Halo comic miniseries from Marvel. You know - I'm pretty good about keeping up with comic strips that folks tell me about. I'm even pretty good at reading Elnea's Halo Action Figure Theater as it's released... but for some reason, I never remember to POST about that one. Elnea's come to my rescue, by pointing out the last few strips herself. She mentions that the most recent strips are somewhat surreal - I'd have to agree. Definitely funny, though. Halo: Uprising details (and cover art)
We had a release date for Halo: Uprising #3 (the third of four installments from Marvel comics this summer) - but no cover art, until now.
