Great Halo 5 and Halo 2A Multiplayer Montage from SpartanTheDogg, Edited by Snipetality
Lots going around today about Spartan's Halo Montage edited by Snipetality. It's pretty cool to see a pro level player pull off some of these moves against other pro level players, and the editing really is top notch. Marty Answers the Big Questions of the Universe
This past weekend, not only did Marty show up on HBO, but he took the time to answer questions on DBO as well. There's some really great stuff in there, and a lot of it is about Halo of course (check this out for info on the originals of 'Wort Wort Wort' and Joe Staten's grunty voice!) The Halo World Championship This Weekend, and Free REQ Packs for Viewers
The Finals of the Halo World Championship start this Friday with the largest console-only game prize pool in history! There will be plenty going on on the Halo Twitch stream if you want to catch the action Friday and Saturday, but the actual finals will also be streamed on the Xbox Live Events app this Sunday. Anyone that watches the finals this Sunday will get a free REQ pack with some new 'Challenger' armor and helmet set. Lots Going On at GrifballHub and With The Grifball Community
With the recent addition of Grifball back into the Halo sandbox, a lot has been going on in a short time for the ball/hammer/sword-combo crew.
- The Grifball Hub community has released their first community highlight reel, showing off the 'new fancy' in Halo 5's iteration of Grifball.
- Signups for the first Halo 5 Grifball league have opened! All teams are welcome. Signups will be open through Friday, March 11, so get the band back together and practicing in the social playlist.
- As Kal reminded us in our forum, GrifballHub is once again putting together a killer booth for the RTX 2016 event. Check out their Kickstarter page to see the cool swag you can pledge for and help the great Grifball community show up and show out at RTX!

Halo 5's Free Updates for The Summer Named and Teased
You can read a brief blurb on today's 'Hammer Storm' update on the Xbox Wire, but the big news is the reveal of the next four months' worth of free content updates coming to Halo 5. Starting in March we have 'Ghosts of Meridian', in April we have 'Memories of Reach', in May we have 'Hog Wild' and finally in June, 'Warzone Firefight'. Not much is said about them, but we know a lot more now than we did yesterday!

Halo Community Update - 02/19/16 ('The Storm Is Coming')
Almost forgot to post last week's community update, but ChrisTheeCrappy didn't forget! There are the usual community spotlights, but most of this update focuses on this month's Hammer Storm update. We get more map info (and our first screenshot), previews of the new armors coming, a few more REQ reveals and a permanent weekly social playlist with rotating gametypes! While we all patiently wait for a proper file share, the folks at 343 have put together a gamertag for you to follow on Xbox to access their favorite maps, mini-games and gametypes! I first saw the news on Halo 5, but this post on Halo Reddit gives you a good screenshot to go on.
