Halo: Uprising comics REALLY delayed
PsychoRaven got some not-so-good news about the release dates of the last two Halo: Uprising comics - Episode 3 has been pushed back to January 30, and Episode 4 is now scheduled for March 26. And those might not be the final dates, either... ouch. (Louis Wu 21:05:32 UTC)

Complex talks to Bendis about Uprising
Complex Magazine posted an interview with Brian Michael Bendis, the writer behind Marvel's Halo: Uprising comic series. Some fans have expressed disappointment in the series, stemming from delays in publication, but also, in some cases, in the direction the comic has taken; this interview might be a way to get a glimpse inside the mind of the creator. Today's episode of Another Halo Comic Strip is pretty awesome. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a few plasma grenades blowing MC to Kingdom Come. Because I've always wanted to do that to this particular version of MC. Always. Update: in what has to be one of the best early Christmas presents ever, ZZoMBiE13 sent this (1440x900, 179k) along, inspired by the original newspost. Mmmm... cat flambé. I'm drooling... Halo: Chronicles
Major Silva let us know that the UNSCDF is hosting "Halo: Chronicles", a comic version of the Halo 3 campaign. The first four episodes are up now; they get you through the Arrival cutscene, plus the very start of Sierra 117. Dialogue is Bungie's, screenshots (and composition) are done by BlueNinja. Check it out! (We mentioned this project when it first started up, about a month ago; this was before it had a permanent home.)

Stuntmutt has decided to do something very special this holiday season; he's created a One One Se7en Advent calendar. Every day this December (until Christmas), there'll be a new ornament on the tree, corresponding to that day's comic. These comics will go live at a fixed time - probably noon, Eastern time (5pm UTC, 9am Pacific), and I may or may not get the news post up at the same time. When you visit the One One Se7en page, you'll be met with a Christmas tree - the numbers correspond to the Advent offerings. As each day comes online, the ornaments will be numbered. Click on a number, view that offering. You can then get back to the main tree by clicking on the mini-tree that shows up next to the offering. (Try it. It's easier understood than explained.)
