Escalation heats up
Comic Book Resources has posted a quick summary of Halo: Escalation #6 (coming in May; do a local 'Find' on the page to get down to 'Escalation') - it ties up a couple of longstanding loose ends that canon fans might be pretty interested in. PBS Halo
CARDO 8 ATL pointed out today's episode of Sifting Reality, a webcomic with a Christian worldview. Halo makes an appearance (leading to its mention here), but the gist of the comic can be applied to any aggressively competitive endeavor. Update: CARDO 8 ATL clarified that this strip is part of the Pearls Before Swine comic - it really has nothing to do with the site it was linked from, other than that it was of interest to the site's curator. Halo Escalation Details: Eps 2-3
mikimarquez returns with more info about Halo: Escalation, the Dark Horse comic series about the ongoing adventures of the UNSC Infinity. Episode 2 (search the page for 'escalation') is due out on January 8, while Episode 3 (again, search) is coming February 5. Halo: Initiation Issue 1 is on comic store shelves now - and there are a bunch of reviews out there if you want to know what you're getting into before you buy.

Wednesday's Bulletin... on Saturday.

Halo Monk Chant at VGL
Last night, the live-streamed Video Games Live concert took place at San Diego Comic Con - and Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori were there. (Their segment starts around 3:16:30 or so in the Twitch.TV archived video.) It's focused on Destiny... but at the start of the segment, Marty and Mike perform an impromptu version of the monk chant from the original Halo theme. Fantastic! Go watch. (Louis Wu 16:24:23 UTC)

The Halo Bulletin went live last night (as it usually does on Wednesday nights) - and as you might expect, given the proximity of SDCC, it focuses on stuff you'll be able to see at San Diego Comic Con this weekend. (This includes some really exclusive, limited-edition collectible pins that will be distributed at the event.) There's also a bunch of stuff about the Halo 4 Global Championship, which is deep in qualifiers right now. This includes info about new playlists going live next week. Go give it a read! As always, it's available in a lighter version in our Halo Bulletin Archive, as well.

Halo at VGL - on the web
You may have already seen this news on DBO (or elsewhere) - but it's Halo-related, too, so we're posting it here. Video Games Live is planning on streaming its San Diego Comic Con concert on Twitch.TV - and Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori will be guest conductors at 7:30!
