Wednesday Comic Update
Bunch of comic links for you today:
- Hawty McBloggy noticed that a recent episode of Copper (A Bolt City comic) follows some rules she laid down last year...
- Dennis Powers let us know that Shipwrecked Episode 64 - Admiration is live - and the Search and Rescue team is learning to admire our lost marines.
- The Catfish sent news to Bungie's Blog that 2501 - Episode 43 is online.
- Adam Susskind stopped into our forum to announce that Chaos Theory Episode 20: A Kiss of Lead can be found on his website. It's a long 'un.
- Bloogyo told us that Rat's Nest Episode 10 4 is up - and that tools are important.
- TTL Demag0gue dropped in with word of Reclaimer 180 - Projectiles. Seems Reclaimer is better at interpreting Portent's intentions than his brothers...

Not many comics up at this point today...

- TTL Demag0gue announced the posting of Reclaimer 179 - Ripple in the Stream - and it looks like Ferial is playing a different game than everyone else.

- Bloogyo announced the end of Episode 9 with the release of Rat's Nest Episode 9 6 - it's full of trash.
- TTL Demag0gue let us know about Reclaimer 178 - Unrest and Apostate. We're learning new names for stuff we already knew about.

Autographed Halo/Bungie Prints Giveaway at HMB
Hawty McBloggy was at the Emerald City Comic Convention last week, and collected a satchel's worth of signed artist prints from the Bungie crew... and now she's giving them away. You'll have to work a little to get one - swing by her site for all the details. You've got until April 21 to get your submission in! And... that ends it for Wednesday's news. - Reclaimer 177 - New Tactics - was released today; Reclaimer has thought of another way to deal with Portent.

Getchyer Free Signed Halo Art, from BGN
Dave Kramer sent word that BusyGamerNews.com is giving away two Emerald City ComiCon swag bags, each with a different Halo art print signed by Bungie 3D artist and weapon designer Tom Doyle. - According to Bungie.net (which is acting a bit strange today), there's a new 2501 - Episode 38 is 'Suspicions'.
- Dilly noticed a tiny Halo reference in yesterday's Least I Could Do.
- Bloogyo let us know that Rat's Nest Episode 8 7 is live.
- TTL Demag0gue stopped in with word of Reclaimer 175 - Scratching the Surface. Looks like there's more to the Cavalcada than anyone knew...

Pigs are flying...
I told myself I wouldn't post news until you could actually BUY it... but Toxic Mayhem has pointed out a story at Marvel.com that suggests that Uprising, Episode 4 (originally slated for release on October 31, 2007) might actually hit shelves next Wednesday, April 15. (Only 532 days late! Assuming, of course, that it actually DOES get released on Wednesday...) Wondering what happens to the Master Chief? Wonder no more! (There are seven preview pages in that Marvel.com story, if you want a sneak peek.)

- Elnea posted Halo Action Figure Theater 168 - Jinx. I'm not sure what's going on any more.
- Adam Susskind stopped in with word of Chaos Theory Ep. 18: Mysteries Exposed - and the longest monologue since Shakespearean times.
- Bloogyo reminded us that he's looking for jokes for upcoming Rat's Nest episodes - and also announced Episode 8 5.

Halo Talk at Emerald City CC
There was a Halo panel at the Emerald City Comic Convention yesterday... and Jake, from 8BitJoystick, was there to cover it. Swing by his blog to read all the details. Some of the news was announced earlier (for example, that Greg Bear is writing three new Halo novels focused on the Forerunner) but some is new, or clarified - Frank was pretty clear that the story of John and Cortana is NOT finished, something that's been hinted at before but not nailed down. Go read! There's a rather large thread on our forum, if you want to discuss.

- Elnea's been pretty busy over at Halo Action Figure Theater - Episode 163 (Party Crashing) went up late Wednesday (set design continues to become more complicated), and Episode 164 (Lone Wolves) went up early this morning. That fourth wall is getting tenuous...
